Golden Arena is looking really nice, I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time with it.

 

Also, here's the difficulty levels:

• Normal (50 floors, LV1+)
• Hard (100 floors, LV15+)
• Risky (200 floors, LV35+)
• Ultimate (Infinite floors, LV60+)

 

 

It's the one thing I've always wanted in P4U, to play Unlimited Characters. Now we can have our Unlimited Characters and make them...unlimiteder. Look at me, making up words.

You do have a point, "Take your buffed up character out into the ring" could mean something.

 

By the way, I hope they make the "Network Mode" video already! I want that Arcade lobby from BBCP!

Funny thing about Golden Arena is that, even if you hit the lv.99 cap, you can still "level up" and get stat points. This was shown in one of the lv.99 Yukiko vids. Similarly, I do not see anything that indicates a limit to your character's stats (hey there 173 LUC Lizzie). Assuming this is not patched out later, it truly does allow you to create "your version" of your favorite characters. It sorta reminds me of the absurd damage and stat caps found in Valkyrie Profile and Disgaea series, except less restrictive.

Strength increases damage dealt, Magic increases SP gained per level, Tc increases Burst gained per level, Luck increases experience gained.

 

No idea what SP/Burst gained per level are, but my guess is you'll need one or the other to equip skills.

Pretty much. This is less a "build a character with finite resources" and more of a "pump'em full of Super-Soldier Serum and see what happens". By the way, I think the defense stat pulls more toward HP than lessened damage considering the HP of enemies gets pretty high later on.

The whole cast is already there. If this "coming soon" means anything, we're getting more characters in the future.

By "current cast" he meant playable characters already announced or in the arcade version.

Hey more characters announced means more chances for Makoto Yuuki (P3MC) becoming playable so "hoorah". And even if it turns out not to be him well then "hoorah" anyway for more potentially fun characters to play with. It's win-win for effectively everybody...unless you hate the characters they may or may not release. Then you're just spitting salt.

That would be extremely weird considering they already have "coming soon" images for the character movies on the character pages. If it were just for that, it would be misleading and redundant.

We don't know yet. They might be coming around the same time though.
