rallamajoop Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 On a side note, does anyone know how many GG2 artworks were released to public and where to get them in good quality? I haven't been following the news lately, but do want to update the first post... Gamespot's got the best stuff I've seen for good quality character art, though it's spread out through the rest of their random collection screenshots. Sin and Sol are on page 5, Valentine's on page 2, and Izuna and Dr Paradigm are on page 3. Ky's large character art is on page 4, but his headshot and that old picture of Sin don't show up until page 11.
Aegis High Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Still looking for the Drama CD's Night of Knives 2 and 3, I just need those two albums. Can somebody rapidshare them please?
Nekich Posted November 1, 2007 Author Posted November 1, 2007 Darn, i'm lazy and don't even play GG, but the first post's been updated. Yay. Huge thanks to rallamajoop.
Shiro Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Does anybody know where I can find the soundbytes for the announcer saying "Here comes daredevil!" and "Slash!"? Preferably the announcer in X2 or Slash.
Nekich Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 There are no announcer files in the archive on newwavemugen page?
Shiro Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Couldn't find any =/ I believe I downloaded the folder for the character sounds from that site, but did not come with any of the announcer
kiduxa Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Awesome post Nekich! Thank you very much! just a couple of things: Guilty Gear XX Drama ~ Night of Knives Vol.2 and 3 ripped and uploaded by bungiefan, posted in this thread by Blade: Volume 2 - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7HA1DIR5 (160~192kbps VBR, joint stereo, 85Mb) Volume 3 - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9YOBSIAP (160~192kbps VBR, joint stereo, 96Mb) Megaupload links are dead. 1.Guilty Gear Xtra The only official GG manga to exist at this point of time: http://www.strokethebigtree.com/GGXtra.rar First chapter is scanslated into english by Ed Chang. All other chapters (in japanese) are original scans, made by Red Exodus - those are far from being great, but good nonetheless. Link posted by rtl42. Translation script for chapter 2: http://rallamajoop.lisa-rye.com/guiltygear/index.html (thread) Scripts are up to chapter 5. 3.Drama CD translations Currently, translations for "X" and "XX side Red/Black" dramas exist, done by Ed Chang - they are attached to this post. Files are copyrighted, though without appropriate notices in the files themselves (as they are copy/pastes from author's no longer active "Gear Project" website). I've red somewhere that Ed Chang made quick summaries of Night of Knives before dropping the project. Is it true? Where can one find them? Keep up the good work. Is being very much aprecciated! :china:
Nekich Posted November 10, 2007 Author Posted November 10, 2007 Megaupload links are dead. noted Scripts are up to chapter 5. fix'd NoK summary? Heard of something like that too... Never got a chance to see it though. Thanks for the post. .)
caeli Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Ed Chang and Calico's chat summaries of Lightning the Argent and The Butterfly and Her Gale. Posted several years ago on a BBS, so I have no clue who the original uploader is . http://rapidshare.com/files/68750942/ggxxbook.zip.html
Teyah Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 ^ That would be me (for that particular zip file anyway) No idea about the new NoK though, I've pretty much fallen out of the loop regarding official GG plot stuffs.
rtl42 Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 IIRC Ed said he didn't actually bother to make a written summary for NoK because it was too boring or something lol. could be wrong, but that's what i thought he posted, back on RC.
Nekich Posted November 11, 2007 Author Posted November 11, 2007 Ah yes, and the only summaries he wrote were of those two novels, is this correct?
Helter Skelter Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I'm looking everywhere for A.B.A's song, Quicksilver from GG Isuka. Can anyone link me to it?
Teyah Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Sure - here's a line-in recording I did way back when. Quality isn't amazing, but it's a start anyway. http://www.sendspace.com/file/5esbmv
Nekich Posted November 12, 2007 Author Posted November 12, 2007 Updated some links. GuiltyGear.Ru has implemented a neat "search" function for all of the official art on their site. Also, their copies of the sprite archives were moved to "Download" section of the site.
Chomite Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 http://www.newwavemugen.com/~ggslash...ash/index.html The site is dead now -_-;; Anyone have any idea where I can get sprites for Slash or possibly Accent Core?
BioLogIn Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 2chomite pay some attention to links you post: http://www.newwavemugen.com/~ggslash/ <- works perfectly
Chomite Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 2chomite pay some attention to links you post: http://www.newwavemugen.com/~ggslash/ <- works perfectly Great! I was worried for a second there since this website was really great for finding nice sprites. Thx!
Teyah Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Can somebody reupload the Aksys GGAC fankit? The link on their site has been dead for months now...
Nekich Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Afaik, GG.ru hosts the images from the fankit in their gallery.
Teyah Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Ah, but the GGFankit.zip file was apparently 104 MB, while the AC artwork that is on GG.ru only accounts for 25 of that 104 MB. So I'm looking for the entire contents of the zip, as well as the zip in its original state. Surely, somebody from dustloop must have downloaded the original?
BioLogIn Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I hosted .jpg version of fankit at GG.ru. Original images were in .psd. 2Teyah I'll upload .psd fankit for you today, np =)
Teyah Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Thank you Bio! It's so much easier to work with .psd when making wallpapers / backgrounds.. with .jpg you still need to clean up the 'white edges' due to compression, but not with .psds. :P
BioLogIn Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Teyah, I understand ) But .psd are little bit too heavy even for us. As you can see, it will be still available upon request. Actually, here it is: http://biologin.guiltygear.ru/ggxxac_fankit.zip Welcome )
