I've got an easier solution to this debate and it's in the form of a question. Now that you know that there IS a block button in the game are you going to play it or not?

If you want MK to play like other games, then play other games. The Block button has never added anything negative to the series anyway. It seems that most people just want a gorefest that plays like Street Fighter. MK has it's own individualism and it shouldn't be sacrificed to get in people who think they know what every fighting game should play like. None of the hardcore MK 'players' have ever had a problem with it. Anyhoo, the block button is also going to be used for the EX moves in this game . In short. If this game having a Block button in will make or break you playing the game, then I doubt this game is for you in the first place.

I'm going to give this game a proper go. Can anyone tell me about the pros and cons of Valentine against the rest of the cast?

Can the TX guys start filming and uploading your matches onto YouTube?

Yeah, his is account is definetely worth the look. The matches there don't seem to be quite the level of some of the matches on Nico though. However, on Daruism's account I have seen a decent Dusk player for the first time out of the dozens matches I've watched so far. I really hate thinking about a console release tso soon, but I really don't think this is going to come out in my local arcade. Oh, and check SRK's Daemon Bride thread. I've been mirroring loads of good matches there. This video seems to be DB at it's finest right now.

I'm gonna be using Shiffon! Anyway, Examu are seemingly hosting tournaments for this game, under the handle of 'Crusade Zero'. The next one is on the 17th of this month. Yeah, I'm HYPE for Nina aswell. That design is so Tim Burton. I can't wait for the game. I just wish they would show some footage of it.

Can someone hook me up with some Shiki and Asura combos and strategies? Those two are the only characters I really like; even if they are pretty crap. I can't find any worthwhile match videos featuring either character. So I would appreciate some of those aswell. P.S Asura's projectiles are pretty damn good, but I'm tired of playing him like Robin Hood.

I thought was very good, the music fit well and some of the stuff was quite useful. I reckon you should use more offical ASW artwork though. Anyway, I can't wait to see the finished product.
