XXXDC Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Here is a video on some new combos i've made -- Really nice Still wondering about her new mid-screen combos without 4B and possible uses for the new gatling.
someonewhodied Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) Midscreen: ItsuuC(FC)>421D>664B>41236D>[CT]+41236D(2)>]CT[>5B>4B>ItsuuA>623D>236A>236B>63214A~D>6C>3C>632146C (5126 damage) Works without FC up till the 63214A It looks really cool. The 41236D knocks them behind you while you hold the CT, then back in front of you again for when you release it. ItsuuC Corner Carry: ItsuuC(No Counter needed)>623D>66j.A>j.B>j.C>j.D>j.236B~236C>Staff2>665B>4B>ItsuuA>623D>236A~236B>63214A~D>6C>3C Edited March 8, 2014 by someonewhodied
mMarikom Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 How much of her old CP stuff is still applicable post patch? I'm going to get back in the lab with litchi this week and I'm trying to decide how much is worth actually LEARNING. There is nothing to be lost from learning anything so I could just technically not care about the patch and in 2 months do it all over again. But I'd rather practice stuff guaranteed to work post patch...
E3vE3 WAZ HEA Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 most of the 5b[m] starter corner stuff should still work as well as some of her midscreen ittsu b stuff. for sure ittsu b 6kote haku hatsu 63214a d 5b 5d j.hatsu chun staff 2 6c(2) DP should still work. it's simple and gives a good chunk of damage.
someonewhodied Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) In the corner even though 4B>itsuuA will be harder, we can still do 4B>623D stuff like: ]D[+6A>236A+staff 2>5B>4B[m]>623D>236B>63214A~D>6C>Oki also this was ALMOST a thing Edited March 10, 2014 by someonewhodied
EXonestar Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) Fancy~ Also try not to think that the patch is too severe yet. I hear loads of people attempting to make new combos and etc. Best to wait. Kurushi even mentioned there possibly more changes to frames and etc to come. Edited March 10, 2014 by EXonestar
7thFonon Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I don't mind too much about 4B (we got by just fine with limited/difficult mid-screen confirms in BBCSEX). Though it would be nice to see some other changes that were not on the list.... (The return 6C[m] and/or Kote cancelling would be nice). :x
someonewhodied Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 You can RC the after the second to last hit of staff or staffless 632146C into taunt>5A enjoy.
EXonestar Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Kote Cancels ...oh man. Those good ol' Days. But truth be told , kote cancels + this version of litchi would probably be mind blowing. (As if people don't complain about litchi's enough already lol)
se7en Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Kote cancels... As if you haven't got enuff combo options already. Would be fun to see though. hah. Edited March 12, 2014 by se7en
someonewhodied Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 With staff reversal distortion combo: (100 heat required) 632146C>RC before last hit>Taunt>ItsuuC>]D[>j.B>j.C>staff 2>6D>623D>6C>3C Enjoy. Taunt, and a combo.
E3vE3 WAZ HEA Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Okay but are we not gonna talk about this guys??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b2jzJfeSkg
EXonestar Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Oh snap - We're gona lose that with the patch aren't we? But at least we still have DP Ender in to Safe Jump setup , which also catches Rolls and etc.
Nakkiel Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 There's not a whole lot of point to that considering a proper 2D -> 5B 214A+B OS setup nets you the same options while actually being a max damage ender.

Nakkiel Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 If you guys DO want something to talk about, here. I'm surprised no one has linked it yet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjnJyYr8Mk0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I'm surprised no one has linked it yet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjnJyYr8Mk0&feature=youtube_gdata_player Thought someone did tbh @_@ didn't actually check though. one things i found interesting was the combo at 0:45, when he does the OD combo, he 5a's to help him buffer a 6428 to get out all green. this should come in handy for people who have trouble with the input. I usually get sj.c when i try ;-;
7thFonon Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Even though itsuu C doesn't go into staffless mode, you can still probably get good oki off it... In this new version of BBCP, you can possibly just go for itsuu C > itsuu A > etc (assuming you haven't already used itsuu A in the combo already).
EXonestar Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I Guess you can still get J.B J.2D knockdown i suppose. But we'll see ofc. There's nothing to be "worried" about yet tbh guys o,o If you guys DO want something to talk about, here. I'm surprised no one has linked it yet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjnJyYr8Mk0&feature=youtube_gdata_player Sorry we had the convo on Skype/Twitter Lol Safe Jump Setups and 2D push out Examples were refreshing. I realy wana see this update- time to wait ~
Cobalt Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Oh hey my video got posted here :3. Feel free to ask anything about it. One thing I want to point out is that the combo at 0:45 includes a RiichiC, lol. one things i found interesting was the combo at 0:45, when he does the OD combo, he 5a's to help him buffer a 6428 to get out all green. this should come in handy for people who have trouble with the input. I usually get sj.c when i try ;-; Yeah superscience suggested that to me and I do it basically all the time now. I have the same problem you do with sjC. Also, carefully studying the input history in training mode trying to figure out how I was failing some of those combos led me to realize that my directional input cleanliness is absolutely godawful; my rekkas are basically three half-circles, among other things. It's a wonder I can do anything at all, haha.

Something else i liked that you did was how you incorporated all the 63214a > x into a single combo as well as 63214b and 63214 c. it looked really cool ^_^ how long did it take to get them down???
Cobalt Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 For the all Riichi (and RiichiA followups!) combo I spent like an hour or two figuring it out. I knew I needed three RiichiA's: one for Ippatsu > Tanki Chun, one each for Chankan and Tanki Hatsu, and I also needed to throw RiichiB in there somewhere, and end with Chinro to get RC > RiichiC. 4B > RiichiB works off of FC, so I started with Kanchan FC. For the three RiichiA's I decided on ground and air Hatsu, and 6C(1), which were the only other moves I could find that had enough hitstun to followup. The rest was just ordering them so that I could link everything together. The combo it took me longest to build was the ItsuuC FC corner carry combo early on, that was like an entire night's worth of investigation. Largely because I wanted to do 5C[e] > IAD > staff2 > j.CB > land stuff, but I couldn't figure out a way to incorporate it and keep the rest of the combo interesting. The hardest to actually do were easily the horizontal Kokushi combos. There's a lot of position-dependence and slight delays to make the opponent fall into it while making sure both that the stickman is facing the right way and that the opponent doesn't fall out. But dwarfing all of the combo-building time was the editing. By like a factor of 5 or 6 lol. I did have one other combo that I couldn't work into the video that I think is nonetheless pretty interesting: (Staff in corner, vertical set, e.g. after Tsubame) Haku Hatsu > RiichiA > Chankan > microdash 2D > 5B > j.B > j.Hatsu Chun > staff2 (vacuums opponent out of corner) > dash under 5B[m] > Reverse 6D > ender
someonewhodied Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 slightly more damage than my previous max damage combo: 6D(1)(CH)>CT>ItsuuB>OD>236A>236C~3D>236B>236C~3D>6A>421D[C]>6D>66C>3D>6~A>6D>6428C>6321466C
E3vE3 WAZ HEA Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Anyone have a good all green combo. I was working with it today and came up with ittsu c OD all green haku hatsu chun 3d(OD ends) 5b 4b ittsu a 4kote 3c d dahd 6c(2) dp. is this one okay or is there a better/more optimal one. I've been trying to use OD all green in combos since it leads to good damage but never could get it the input.
