Mac has indirectly given me some interesting processing ideas. I don't analyze information well enough in a match in a proactive/productive way. I have a huge list of questions to ask higher level players on the subject that I might just do some day.

 What did I do?

And my stick would still be collecting dust too, if it wasn't for CP being PS3 only. PS3 pad was making blood shoot out of my eyes. I'm not as good on stick as I was on 360 pad or even ps3 pad, but I don't spend every match feeling like I'm fighting the controller instead of the other player anymore.

I have both vita and ps3 CP, so comparing the two, the vita feels good for what it is, it just feels so damn tiny after playing on ps3 for so long. Could probably fix that with one of the vita cases.

Also, I cant imagine doing hakumen combos consistently on pad xD. Every time I try and do 5B>kishuu>enma, it always fails cuz I'll either accidentally jump or wont be fast enough.

Also, I'm sad we didn't get to go a round yesterday in x40s room TD. Things got really busy and I was always the one person sitting out so I just left after a while xD

My opinion:

Harder on stick: Instant air dashes and dashes. Half circles initially.

Easier: Quarter Circles, everything else is cake. Multiple Buttons, etc.

There are many stick/pad topics in the forum but if you can do everything you want on a pad, don't worry about it.

Yeah pretty much. I have so much trouble with IADs on stick, regular dashes aren't a problem since I play Hakumen, and half circles can be give and take.

Stick takes a while to get used to, but once you're in, you're in for life. It's just a matter of not being tempted to switch to pad. I'm a weak minded individual in that regard. Once I stop being a lazy buttfiend and switch my gate for something more comfortable, I should be more willing to play stick tbh. It's not uncomfortable in games like SF, but BB kills me cuz of IADS and the like.

If you get a stick, just keep at it. I'm a pad player, but stick is great and you don't get beat up after school for using pad.

I think I had some questions and/or statements regarding a lot of mental areas in pressure, neutral, adjustments, etc. Either you'll offer direct tidbits or things to others. After watching some of Sabin's netplay vids (his outloud thinking) I began to question what I'm doing cognitively during a match. Also, I have trouble applying knowledge in my buttons.

You played on 360 d-pad O_O or joystick. I tried playing XX reload on 360 once and it was a struggle.

Kriegdrache, I had buyers remorse 2 weeks after I started stick. I thought it was ridiculously awkward at first and though i wasn't progressing. 2 more weeks later, I was going ham.

Is PSN down, or is it just me?

That reminds me of Tectal's comments from his YT uploads of our matches in Extend. "GOTTA MAKE HIM BLOCK" Nope stay mad.

Yup I'm more comfortable on 360 pad. The 360 dpad is actually an analog stick with a pad on top, so while it might not be as precise as a real dpad, it at least lets you get diagonal inputs easier than the ps3 dpad.

I have never understood how people can use the 360 pad, it's shape and placement are just horrible to me. I'd take the PS3 pad over it any day.

I played Valk, Rachel, and Relius just fine on 360 pad. Then again, playing for 20 years on pad probably helped.

I mean, I grew up on that NES/Sega pad, N64 pad and joystick (that Starfox Expert mode) so I'm comfortable but....man. Well, it's a different feel so I guess you adapt.

Hahahaha.

Sorry you had to find out this way - though, this is how everyone found out. It was only a matter of time. It doesn't make you a bad player for losing to that.

Working the graveyard most of this week, so no midnight games. No one plays this game in the morning, but I suppose I'll try in the morning clever... If not we'll have to play over the weekend.

Also, #unielhypetrain

Gotcha...I'm working in the mornings so unless you're up super super super SUPER early it'll probably have to wait for the weekend which is totally cool w/ me.

GGs to Zeromus, those games were freakin clooooose. Made me way more confident in Terumi vs Mu than Jin vs Mu.

That last game had some BS in Round 2 though XD.

GGs. Which BS was that? (I legit don't remember lol...I was too in the moment).

Yeah I think both Terumi and Jin are pretty even against Mu.

How

I can't comprehend this.

Oh okay now I remember. Yeah that was unfortunate about the super, I thought I was dead too but then I saw I had like 1 HP left and I was like "this is my chance"

Yata doesn't have invul but it could have shrunk her hitbox just enough to dodge the 5D: http://www.dustloop.com/guides/bbcse/hitbox/mu/632146D.html I was surprised I didn't get whacked too. If you see me Yata I think reaction Massenga or the 100 meter super (did NOT know that had projectile invul lol) is better though.

Didn't have the meter to hit that, I just got you with the Fuinjin XD.

But yeah GGs, really intense.

Wish I had used terumi against you in Burning up XD

Terumi can get around the steins easilly, he's always moving, and Mu is in the air A LOT, so 6A is godlike.

Also I lost my pink, i at least got it once so I don't care anymore.

Makes sense in a way, probably cause your Terumi is better than mine. Also cause Mu scares me.

At least you got to pink lol. I've been orange for months and randomly losing the orange to get to yellow only to get to orange again. Ah well, can't say I care much about color. It's just funny.

You have an Az though, just growler everything XD.

Also GGs to Dice.....though I wish I could've fought your haz, kinda the reason I wanted to fight XD

You beat Mu by matching high damage. 5D, Snake Bite, Full Meter Fuinjin with Terumi deals freaking 4k.

Mu is a weird matchup.
