someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) This is stupid. All hakumen needs is agito and kishu to get in on nu. Its not helping that my quick getups are turning into rolls. How does holding two on wakeup translate to roll Edited December 12, 2013 by someonewhodied
mAc Chaos Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 you should watch my matches with toan the balance has reset to nu's favor / even you should be able to dominate. you just aren't doing the right things yet
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 the problem is the small stupid things. A 5D gets yukikazed and i hold forward jump. Thats the right thing to do right? well nope. Nu just walks forward. I have my adapter plugged in to read inputs and it DOES say i was holding up-right. But ingame nu just fuckin walks forward slowly.
AchedSphinx Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I haven't played a Hakumen since Day 1. I should search from some Hakumens. I wonder if I can find any.
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 we can play right now invite me. I need to face more hakumens.
toanenadiz Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 you should watch my matches with toan the balance has reset to nu's favor / even you should be able to dominate. you just aren't doing the right things yet Nope. I agree with SWD. Haku has it easy. the problem is the small stupid things. A 5D gets yukikazed and i hold forward jump. Thats the right thing to do right? well nope. Nu just walks forward. I have my adapter plugged in to read inputs and it DOES say i was holding up-right. But ingame nu just fuckin walks forward slowly. The right thing to do is OD through Yukikaze and set-up a mix-up while Hakumen is recovering.
abadlime Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 ggs gold, dreize, and demonwindbomb. Im silly
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 mac gimme a moment. finishing up one match. then joining.
toanenadiz Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 didn't your win rate improve since EX? No. I did far better in Extend against Hakumen. Or at least against Wander. My win ratio seems to be the same against other Hakumen. Haven't played Koopa or Soul yet. And I am passing because I can't play yet but I want to see how other Nu go about this match-up.
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) my win rate hit rock bottom against hakumen in CP. I used to rely on sickle a LOT. like I loved having full 6hit sickle. I don't have that any more. Man toan is playing way more patient than I am. I sorta get the hang of it now, but i still wanna watch more. This matchup is so hard for me now with the loss of 236D~C in non-OD. Edited December 12, 2013 by someonewhodied
toanenadiz Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Be careful about ending a combo with j214D > laying down gravity > mode change. Hakumen can Shippu you out of mode change.
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Shit i forgot about shippu shockwave. My first thought is never "That one projectile" when i play against a hakumen. Also i have a problem where I gotta do an attack whenever i backdash. Gotta fix that. But i see you using spike chaser on a grounded hakumen, Can't he like 4C that?
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Yaayyyyyy. Invite bloodwolf too. Lets have mac fight the Nu army.
mAc Chaos Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 i feel like im tager except instead of 720 i have OD
toanenadiz Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 This match-up is so easy for Hakumen. I don't understand Mac's problem.
mAc Chaos Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 i will explain later meanwhile i fucked up and picked green
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Sphinx, here is a hint. Don't delay your 5D oki. 5D catches hakumen when he lays on the ground. Bluebeat is better than whiff. And mac doesn't roll.
toanenadiz Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 AchedSphinx has an interesting style. It's a shame Bloodwolf isn't in here. I want to see how they fight as well. Also, you should use 5A to poke out against Hakumen. It doesn't whiff on him crouching and it beats his 6B.
Zeromus_X Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 GGs again to rayjizzle. Slowly learning the Azreal matchup...one HnK combo at a time.
someonewhodied Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) Man toan and ached play like opposite styles. Toan just waiting for a year and a half for a small punish, ached just going for it. Dat astral. :v Edited December 12, 2013 by someonewhodied
