I was starting to despair that I would just have to go to sleep before I could knock you down to orange. No matter how many matches went by it still stayed pink. Literally gameshark. I was still trying for the last match but I was just trying to slap together whatever and see what happened. :P

One thing I noticed was that you never used meter to add damage to your combos. Why not? Usually Relius can churn out huge damage but I was getting hit by 3-4k combos instead. It might have saved you in some matches.
Myoro Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Well I always save my meter for Rapid cancels. I'm fine with 3K~3.5K, but I need to always be a threat. A Tedo will get you approx 1K, but any weaksauce solo hit can get an additional 2K on it for a rapid. Also I wanna fight Lich... But I never see him anymore. He, along with many many others seem to have abandoned DL... Also, prolly not good to compare me to tourney players, I'm very unrefined still.
mAc Chaos Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Hm. I was expecting more like Extend level damage. I don't think I've gotten beaten by Duo Bios so many times in a set. Usually it's easier to handle. This time it was just if I block it at all I died.

Any time i thought I found a way out of your pressure there was a shield which pulled me back in. Somehow you outplayed me in Neutral a lot, which I only ever see Soul6Ookami do with Haku. Now I have to pass the love on to the oranges of the world. Get my Pink again. It's getting harder and harder to find willing oranges. I'll have to bully Nard into giving me his. >_> But his Makoot is getting strong too... I might end up a yellow.
mAc Chaos Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Maybe since we both fight Nu (and Toan) a lot. Or did. Nu is all about neutral. Also Tager. Then again most matchups rely on strong neutral so idk. My first problem in the beginning was that you were fearless with Led Ley and your own pressure; you'd just waltz up and 5B me in the face and it was working because I expected you to be more cautious. Once I shut down those options I was able to condition you a lot more. Also I started watching out for 3C a lot more because that was what you'd hit me with whenever you hit me low.

Honestly I've only fought Toan once in a FT10, and he decimated me. You made short work of my 5B and 2C, and never lost patience with my doll, finding a way to circumvent her, and I meanwhile was a panicky mess, so I suppose that's the underlying cause. I feel like there was a tool I was overlooking, but I can't remember. I need to learn how to confirm non CH 2C, because apparently Haku's air normals have no CH frames.
