4Corners Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Okay, I know I'm creating a ridiculous amount of threads here, but I want to get as much out of these forums as possible. We have the Zappa location thread being worked on, so there's that, but I want to take it one step further. I don't know about everyone else, but I like to travel for whatever game I'm into. I like to meet players that are better than me, and I like to learn. This is to kind of further that. I would really like to know of any Zappa players going to big tournaments. I'll announce whenever I'm going to one, and would like to know which ones you guys go to, how well you do, and, if we're attending the same tournament, if we can meet up and play a few games/show each other whatever we know. I'll be going to Season's Beatings 3, in all likelyhood. Anyone else planning on attending? Oh, this could also double as a Zappa tournament results thread, or I could create another. I'd really like to keep track of who places where and when.

Who is good in the States? Rofl pretty much, if you main zappa or you're names Kenji you're probably one of the best in the country. Not even kidding, there's just over 10 Zappas in the entire US. Those who are good in particular, I guess you could say Rudy, Kenji, Hellsap (Got sixth at evo I heard, can't be too bad... If you read this hellsap, I haven't gotten around to watching your matches yet D: ), And I suppose I'm decent (I always choke at tourneys though so, yeah). So really it's pretty much anyone whose here and those you hear are good by word of mouth. You'll see me at Season's Beatings so we'll be able to talk, I'm the MASSIVE DORK.

I'll be busting my ass trying to get to competitive level for GG in time for SB3. Be nice to get some more rep for him, especially with how much he's improved since XX.

By the way, I'd want to fight you some day but mirror zappa fights are really annoying. Dangief, you know what I'm talking about lol.

Business didn't get started until 8 HOURS late, by that time I was so sick of beasting on Phrek that I didn't want to touch GG anymore and dropped a match to some random Sol. And only Potemkin mirror matches are more annoying than Zappa ones. First to do something loses!

C3 often has tourneys like that. 8 hours late waiting for one guy to show up... AWESOME!!!
