I still remember playing it when the jap version first came out in arcade but i stopped after reload cuz there is no slash/AC near my area! anyways, it's weird tonight that all the games i try to launch blackscreened me and out to the lobby. and please don't slaughter me cuz i am still trying to get used to the keyboard b4 getting a usb converter for my ps2 joystick

I am not sure if I updated correctly.. I think I am on 1.09-4 now, but when I open my config file it still says 1.06. :V I think I did it right, but is there anyway to know if you are actually on the latest? :s

I cannot start it. An error says "ggxxnet.dll not found".

When i try to run the game with ver1.8 there are no people in the lobby at all.

Was anyone successfull?

for that, you have to download 1.09, then upgrade the .dll to 1.09-4

I did it but it still doesnt work. I d/laoded 1.09 than ver 2,3,4 which all contain .dlll file. I replaced all of them with the original files but nothing...

hey why can't i see anyone in the lobby? anyone else having this problem... do i have to install version 3 then version 4 or can i just go straight to 4? i use to see people in the lobby when it was using v2.

ok i just got my controller to usb converter today... but i don't know how it's suppose to work.. i did the properties and config test and everything works fine, all the buttons and movements are showing that they are working... but when i try to use the controller in the game, it doesn't do anything... do i need to change something in the Config buttons folder? if so what.

In your Guilty Gear directory, there is a file called "config.exe". Run the file, when the screen appears, go to the 3rd tab and set your controls there. The triangle, circle, square and X may not be labeled in English. But you can just do trial and error or just reset the controlls in the in-game options. It works for me.

I think it depends if the red light was on when Windows initially recognizes the PS2 pad because I've seen it only work with the red light on and also only work with the light off. Just try both ways and see which one works. Also your problem could be with the English version of the config file. I would suggest trying the pad with an emulator or a different game just to make sure the pad itself works.

which brand did you get? i am not even sure if they have name brand converter. but i am trying to get one too, just any one of them that works is fine. i just dont want to have a crappy one that lags or has no response
