You have to go to the main game config first (the one where you set the display options and all that crap, turn the intro off, etc).

I don't even know what all the buttons are besides X, so I decided to select random ass buttons

If you or anyone else is still having trouble with that, ive got an english config file. Everything else is japanese, but it still works fine. If you want it, ill but it up in megaupload or send it over some im or somethin.

So, you CAN play delay 1 if you are under 40ms with the other person. Me / Spirit Juice were playing with zero lag, 60FPS.

@Kyosuke Kagami: it's the time the game waits to get an answer and connect to the other person. Changing it to 2 or 3 seconds let's you connect to people with more problematic connections but that usually means the game with those persons will have lags /slowdow issues. @magus_Ashtear: what's the last step? getting the shortcut option turned on? Because if you did everything right that's the last step and the one that allows the "VS NET" option to appear on the main menu. @kugler: so that's what it means. I was wondering what this chart was refering to but i've never met anyone with less than 100ms. Thank you for the info! Same here. I have had some friends look at it who have it working on their machines. I believe it might just be my ISP. We are using Windstream, slutty local but only available ISP. See if other people are connecting that have the same ISP as you.

I get it to work somehow but i cannot see anyone in the lobbys i enter.

I have done everything according to the instructions and still cannot get it to work. I disabled firewall and entered exception port 1000 TCP. A friend of mine started it with the second lobby and with net-ver 1.7. Is it absoliutely necessary to use 1.8beta?

Also i want to ask is it neccesery to enter the address of the lobby everytime when u quit the game?

I was able to put it to work. Thanks Now does anyone have a clue how to create a lobby? I am trying to get more people around me play GG but since most of them are total beginners and/or have bad connections i want to make a lobby where they can meet and play.

I was playing GGXX for a month or two on the PS2 a long time ago (3 years?), but I never really got interested in it. My friend introduced me to NetPlay on #Reload, so I'll stick around for awhile. Played Baiken for awhile, but huge change in dusting/combos in #Reload. I was gonna stick with Sol, but decided I should try a new character: Dizzy. She seems fun enough to start from scratch. Starting my second week of this, so hope I get better. @_o;

Whenever you see a VIE ID, that's us. As a GGer, I'd like to have some good games for more experience. I mainly play as Slayer and somtimes Faust.
