Nagata Lock II Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I switched to 1.10 this morning. The interface doesn't really make a difference to me as long as it runs well. I can't be sure but I think it only recognizes other people on 1.10. It FINALLY lets you deny games too (thank God). I still got one sync error when I was playing "accidentcore" this morning but that was 1 problem in 3 very smooth matches. You can also make your name longer than 10 characters.

Nope, I've gone from E to D while playing 1.10, and I know AccidentCore has also gone up. All is well? Nope. I ranked up after losing a match, and I checked my replays to verify it. So, to paraphrase Dylan, something else is happening here but we don't know what it is... but it's pretty screwy all the same.
DubiousCurvLoop Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 About the ranks going down: If you've started off v1.10 with a high rank, I think the game gets confused because you obtained that rank prior to 1.10, but the win streak is not carried over to 1.10 (probably due to the difference of format or something). It's thinking that you are starting out from the lowest rank, despite the fact that the display shows otherwise. Based on this, I assume that for the higher ranked players, the rank will first go down upon victories, and then it will gradually go back up as you play and win more matches. Or something like that . Maybe someone can make sense out of that. I haven't verified this because it's showing a question mark for my rank for some reason.
