It seems like the move has less range than it did before too. The only time I see it really put to use is when Nakamura uses it to as a combo ender in the corner on rare occasion to create space for Secret Garden oki.

After watching (almost) every match vid from like the past 3 months  i really can't wait to play with her. She really seems to take advantage from the YRC system with stuff like backdash YRC jK/2S mixups and the 236HS YRC

Also does the BNB launcher (jK jS) jD ad jS jHS works on everyone? (seems so)

Yeah, looks like in the air you're going to be doing stuff like j.S>j.D>IAD>j.S>j.H to make up for air-dash cancels.

 

Also, I guess I can make a Skype group for Millia. PM or post your Skype names and I can add you, unless one already exists.

Also I can't wait for my PS4 stick to arrive tomorrow. I can't freaking play on pad, lol.

 

From the few hours I've managed to play it feels like the speed is nearly about the same as ol' GGs and Millia's movement feels just as fluid.

 

IADs instead of ADCs shouldn't be a big issue, I'd actually say it's likely even easier than her old combo theory (which wasn't particularly hard to begin with).

What is the best air-to ground combo?
i mean j,P (or j.K) as example and then how to continue? Its also hard to use j Moves at lowest trajectory

Usually j.K > j.S > c.S(1) > 2H will work. But yeah, you need to do a pretty late airdash for it to work, and in most cases you'll want to be doing it when your opponent has a disc on them so they don't think to mash.

A good way to fake people out in the corner is to do H-Disc > IAD > delayed IAD > j.K > j.S > stuff. It's a good way to learn how to do late airdashes.

Only problem is that Ky players love to YRC their projectiles.

Hey guys, I'm getting rocked pretty hard by throws in this game, moreso than in +R. Are there any solid things Millia has to bait throw attempts? Because its making oki pretty hard to do consistently. I'm trying train myself to FD stop my dash before I plant a disc, but it seems pretty hard to do so far.

Any advice?

TK Bad Moon, instant overhead j.K, Iron Savior, and left/right mixups with IAD/Turbofall should take care of any reversal throw attempts on oki. If you need to dash disc for oki you can do 2366H(you can dash a bit before hitting H) or 66 236H instead of having to FD brake and plant it. Remember before planting a disc to make sure you have the time and spacing to not be reversal thrown or punished in some other way.

Also don't forget you can yrc your disc if you have to set it a little bit later. TK badmoon/haircar or backdash (or a little step back) 2d/6k afterwards. Bonus points for this technique cause it might disrupt your opponent's timing or their inputs.

hey guys, im having trouble with doing secret gardens follows up, i cant seem to get 4 follow ups and it has to be done so fast that i miss input them

is there any trick to doing?

There's no real trick, you just have to grind it out. It's good to remember the mostly optimal series of followups though (usually done after miscreen air throw or far spaced oki: 3 > 6 > 4 > 6), once you have it committed to memory, it won't be as bad. Don't think you're alone in this though, I'm having trouble with it as well!

So I can do Millia's IAD combos just fine, but I'm doing 866 for the j.D IAD j.SHS portion.

 

Is there any problem with that? It works fine at a glance but I don't know if there are any situations/hitboxes/combos or anything where this would be a bad habit to have. I mostly use j.KSD IAD j.SHS to stabilize the combo but it feels very patchwork-ey and I'd like to know if I should unlearn it. 99 or 966 for is awkward since I'm used to BB/P4A but if it's better I'll definitely learn it.
