Setsuna Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 burst to get out of combos is Escape Blast, not Power Up Blast anyway really looking forward to this game I forgot to edit that one when I was copy pasting the text, thanks for pointing that out. I edited the original post.
Sourenga Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Here's some complains... Electromagnetic Movement (Denji Kidou) -Magnetic Move- (電磁機動 -マグネティックムーブ-)Follow-ups: or : Movement 空中移動 /:bbt: /:cbt: : Attack攻撃 :f: in the air: Mid-air Sprint (Kuuchuu Shikku) -Aerodash- 空中疾駆 Aerodash is its own move. It's not Magnetic Move's follow-up. Climax Arts Claw Machine(Kyatoru) Mutilation (きゃとるみゅーてぃれーしょん) Where did this "Claw" came from? Sure, I do know it's the crane game move, but the name has nothing to do with claws. Move is named "Cattle Mutilation" because it's a reference to the crane games other name, the "ufo catcher game". Impact Skill Death by Brazing (デス・バイ・バラージング) Juuhou Toumi (柔法当身) Kuroyukihime's move isn't "Death By Brazing" but "Barraging" It's "Juuhou AtemI". Do people not know what it means when Japanese refer certain fighting game moves as atemi-moves? "Soft Act Counter" is the most common translation for the move... Specials: Innocent Charm (無垢なる魔性 -イノセント・チャーム-) Reign of the Ice Queen -Ice Age- ( 氷の絶対女王政 -アイス・エイジ-) Fireworks Display -Fireworks- (打上げ花火 -ファイアー・ワークス-) Innocent Devilishness -Innocent Charm- It's "Koori no Zettai Joousei" so it's actually more close to "The Absolute Queen Regnant of Ice" "ファイアー・ワークス" is clearly "Fire Works", it's French Bread's game so let's write that Engrish the way it's supposed to be. Also, maybe I didn't notice it, but there wasn't a mention that if you use a Power-up Burst while the Trump Card is already active, the Power-up Burst extends the length of the Trump Card.
Koori Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I got a question, whats the difference between Impact skill (A+B) and impact break (A+B)?
Setsuna Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Here's some complains... -Translation Stuff- Also, maybe I didn't notice it, but there wasn't a mention that if you use a Power-up Burst while the Trump Card is already active, the Power-up Burst extends the length of the Trump Card. I addressed everything you mentioned, I'm sorry if translations aren't 100% perfect. I simply asked a friend I knew to help me with the translations, I apologize if your OCD with the translations may have bothered you but please don't sound hostile about it. If you see any other errors feel free to PM me about it here or DM me on Twitter. I added the tidbit, the base of everything is from the official site so any other details have yet to be added.
7thFonon Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I got a question, whats the difference between Impact skill (A+B) and impact break (A+B)? Impact Break is 4 A+B is an overhead Overhead Impact skills are A+B and 2A+B is like an armored attack I think?
Dogars Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Thanks for the thread, Tsuntenshi-senpai~ I really love this game and i hope i get a chance to play it... I'd totally import this one! ^U^
LitchiFayeBling Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I want to know a bit more about the assists. When I chatted with some ppl in twitch chat watching early footage it sounded (and looked) like the best assists were the maid that walks until close and waves a bouquet a bunch, and the touma guy that counters all attacks and retaliates with an explosion. But i'm interested in the whirlwind assist - it looks very fast and big, easy to combo off of and I think might be useful even though the mixup potential isn't as big as the maid. But pushblock may make maid mixups less potent.
Sourenga Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I addressed everything you mentioned, I'm sorry if translations aren't 100% perfect. Well, there's really no need to be that perfect, but... Mistakes just were in the places I didn't expect to see some, so... my bad habit kinda acted up... Minato Tomoka (Ro-Kyu-Bu!) The Absolute Queen Regnant of Ice ( 氷の絶対女王政 -アイス・エイジ-) Fire Works (打上げ花火 -ファイアー・ワークス-) Oh, my bad... I didn't explain carefully enough... Tomoka's moves should be in this format: The Absolute Queen Regnant of Ice -Ice Age- Fireworks Display -Fire Works-
Koori Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Impact Break is 4 A+B is an overhead Overhead Impact skills are A+B and 2A+B is like an armored attack I think? Oh i see, i missed the 4 there lol, thanks
InWithTheAshes Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Well I guess my thread's outdated. fine job on the primer, although there are some corrections required: There is no note of the increased passive meter gain made while moving towards an opponent. There is no note of the instant one stock of meter gained by a power up burst, adding towards the increased passive gain. In the "Climax Gauge" section, there is no specification on the amount of meter consumed by EX attacks, support cancels or regular supers (I also think there is increased meter usage for cancelling specials into EX's/supers, although this may be incorrect). I'm not entirely sure, but I think describing the auto combo as "like P4A's" is in some sense innaccurate, because unlike P4A, I do recall the autocombo being a chain of A move > B move > C move > special > super, rather than the second hits being unique moves. I could be wrong on this though. There is no specific mention of the guard point on either either of the "Impact" abilities. Impact Break is 4 A+B is an overhead Overhead Impact skills are A+B and 2A+B is like an armored attack I think? Impact Break's and Skills both contain guard point: It's just that only Skills include it for the entirety of startup.
LitchiFayeBling Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 iirc if the power up blast hits, you get 2 meters instead of 1. might be wrong though.
SoWL Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Good night, old thread, you just wasn't cool enough to contain this spiffy guide. I want to know a bit more about the assists. When I chatted with some ppl in twitch chat watching early footage it sounded (and looked) like the best assists were the maid that walks until close and waves a bouquet a bunch, and the touma guy that counters all attacks and retaliates with an explosion. Just because Kouko wears a frilly dress doesn't mean she's a maid (there is already a maid assist in Wilhelmina, so there can be some confusion when you say that). But yeah, Touman was the strongest assist among the original six, and that seems to still be the case even after we got 8 more of them.
Sourenga Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 There is no specific mention of the guard point on either either of the "Impact" abilities. If we believe in Dengeki's recent articles, then Impact Skills have invincibility. I don't know if it goes for all the characters, but Dengeki has referred Shana's, Mikoto's and some other Impact Skills as moves with invincibility.
InWithTheAshes Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Actually, we may both be wrong on this: I looked through the old thread to look for what was translated when the mechanic was announced and according to one of SoWL's posts on the eigth page, the initial article described it has possessing one hit of super armor. Of course, this may have been changed afterwards: Now I regret not saving an archive of each article as I initially planned to check .
Ragnarok_F4 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Cool stuff Setsuna, thanks for organizing the info . Does everyone have an air dash?
7thFonon Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Pretty sure it's just the characters that have air-dash moves on their movelist. (shana, biribiri, kirino)
wenzel Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Console Release: Fall 2014 (JP) This is confirmed info, PS3 release?
Setsuna Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Console Release: Fall 2014 (JP) This is confirmed info, PS3 release? This was revealed long ago when the game was first announced, it was on their website a long with their Spring 2014 Arcade Release but for some reason it's not up there now. -I'm working on the assist section now and then addressing comments everyone had, again keep in mind information was translated from the sites gameplay page so specifics probably aren't mentioned (yet)-
SoWL Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Console Release: Fall 2014 (JP) This is confirmed info, PS3 release? Note that they still haven't specified the exact console they're going to release it on, even though PS is the most likely option.
nadakaineko Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 This game doesn't seem all that deep but beating up people with Kirino is gonna be really fun!
