can someone explain what's going on here. How do we determine exactly what 22c is as a starter, UB, CG, or can it not be determined since the dummy can't block?

So why exactly does this work? Does 22C has more active frames in CP? If that's an air tech, I'd imagine they could just tech forwards or backwards and dodge the 22C, right?

Yes, 22C has 8 active frames in BBCP, up from 3 (although it was possible before BBCP), and probably.

The other unreliable way to catch someone with 22C as a starter is to either start a combo with a fatal or catch them opting to not recover from the stagger so you can go from 22C > 5A/2B (pre-BBCP only) > delay 22C + they try to jump out for some reason. I guess now your other option besides tech-trapping is to CH 2C > 66~22C, but... either way it's impractical as all hell.

what adds to the impracticality is that theres no down state caused by CH 2C! the impracticality!!!!!

Goddamnit bloodscythe why are you anti-airable? Bloodscythe needs a B(ody) attribute instead of H(ead).

Best way to use Bloodscythe is to use it off awkward gattlings like 2A/2B > Bloodscythe. Your opponent would be thrown off by that because they wouldn't expect you to use it from that close. That reduces the chances of you getting AA'd, if your opponent gets thrown off by a couple of milliseconds. Another way to use it is by using it naked, certainly not off a 5D, that's stupidly telegraphed. I don't think i'd be using ground BS anyway because of the risk vs reward. I'd be more likely to do TK BS > Rapid > Mix-up, and without meter, stick to my CS:EX style Ragna pressure.

Pretty sure it DOES have the body attribute because it's not an overhead. :v::v::v::v::v:

Bloodscythe has the head attribute, not body. Not being an overhead has nothing to do with having the body attribute.
