Jais Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 zappa has a move that hopps over 2p while on the ground he also runs and summons in my face while im poking with it. the vomit will hit me if im poking with that move also, best believe i spamm it, i now the match extemely well.Im not suer what u mean about conditioning but i been zoning really hard and running away until i get an offensive opening and its hard due to the fact that when zoning callback can be out ran by many characters. this was my beaf w/ yo-yo zoning until AC. HSS_5 works wonders instead of HSS_6 mostly the yo yo is there to limit movement/space. It should be used to extend combo but if you want to use it for yo-yo call back zoning then try and be way in the air with another jump option(to escape) when you do. Good luck.
Jamy Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I really want to start learning Bridget properly. Hes just so much damn fun to use I can't help myself. My college hours are pretty lenient right now and i was wondering what things would be good to start off by learning? I can do a good majority of the BnB's from experience. Also what are the uses for 3P? So far I've just been using it experimentally for corner pressure for good results. And finally any tips for the Millia match-up. It's a damn pain >_< Thanks
TD Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Spam your fastest moves, and l found 6p to work wonders. Otherwise, Bridget cannot set up anything against her, she's just too fast, and you can't outspeed her. Turtle, look for openings, counter HARD, get back out of there before you get murdered.

Jamy Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Slayers 2h. Thats good then saves me clashing with 2s instead. What exactly does FD RI do? As in what options does it give me and main purpose? I would imagine 6s to work wonders against Millias pins so I'll try that next time i play.

It gives him another form of escape. Use it to get air time while saving you a jump option in case your opponent tries to trap you. Use it to play a mean keep away game, as well as an air option.
MacArthur Blunts Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I think 2S would beat 3P straight up... It's so invincible and huge Also Slayer's 6P fucks a lot of buri stuff badd.. Don't poke. Get them airthrows and whiff punishes. Booyah

I mean it as in like if the player gets pin happy which i tend too see abit i would imagine it too work wellif the player is getting into position for a pin. Not beating out a pin
Jais Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 I would recommend never using 6S against Millia. Only in the circumstance if you *know* she will IAD back and you want free tag. And that being once every 5 or so matches, just to keep her movement in check. If by any chance you were using it against Millia, I would hope you have a HSB in front of you to cover your ass.

Not beating out a pin the way jais sugest using 6s is the best method, when she instant air dash back form something like roger rush or me and my killing machine....for the most part millia will be way to high in the sky for it to be of any use and also, if u whiff that, its easyly one the most punishable move on whiff that bridget has. i thinkthey slowed the move down in slash to have more recovery i remember playing mugen and reload and it being abusable
sakabato24 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Hey guys, kinda new to Dustloop and I am in need of help for a bit here. Is there a thread for Bridget BnBs for AC+? I see through this forum and all I see is XX#R BnBs for Bridget. If anyone can direct me to the nearest AC+ combo thread for Bridget, it will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1175 Everything is pretty much in there from Buri basics to his BnBs. Alot of it is from slash, but they are still viable in AC [Edit]: it's nice to have some more Bridget players ^_^
sakabato24 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I picked up Bridget when I first saw him in GGXX#2R. I'm still a big novice when it comes to GG since I just came from the BB scene and I want to delve into the GG scene more. Thanks for the link.
Teoretikern Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Hi I just discovered this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHAfESBLNHU&feature=related and there is not one, but two infitive combos in it. This seems to me as 2 relativily easy instant kills. Are they realy so good as it seems? if not then why? Edit: saw a bunch of more vids and it seems like many other characters (if not all) also can do combos wich never end Why does the proos never use them? are they banned? If so how many times are you allowed to reapeat a set of attacks over and over?

If so how many times are you allowed to reapeat a set of attacks over and over? Those infinite combos require exact precision in input, something beyond a human's capabilities. Those done in the combo vid are done with a programmable remote most likely. As for repeat attacks, its fine to repeat attacks (though very scrubby-ish), but the game is more than about just damaging a person with a move, it is the whole mindset involved with okis and guard pressures and such. Though some people's combos require some repetition, like Testy's Badland Loop, or Jam's puff ball extraordinaire wall loop. [EDIT]: Not to mention that the damage is extremely weak and scaled doing the infinites that you'll probably get bored mid-way through trying to finish it.

Teoretikern Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I see, thanks. Now I'm a little relieved
Jamy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Can you FRC the air version of Starship? If so is the frame any different and what can you follow it off? I don't recall the frame data saying you can do it under the air version.
Mahouko Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 no only the ground version of Starship you can frc.
SmileJunkie Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Yep, Mahouko is right. Btw, you can see if a move has an FRC point by toggling it in the training mode menu. A white to blue flash signals FRC point.
Jamy Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Yeah i know about the training bar, just saves me setting up my PS2 to find out :D Also trying my hardest to get more activity in here :D
SmileJunkie Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Yeah generally, the board traffic is slow, but that's expected cuz of accent core supposedly "dying out". However, if there's more questions, keep em coming ^_^ . Btw, what kind of invincibility frames do you gain in the startup of Roger Hug?

This is where some hitbox display program would make me cry out of joy. Answer: nobody really knows. Safe to say none, but as far as what wonky hitbox does ithave that hive her head inv whatev. I thik she has no invincible parts on here sprite. Punch bear activation is off the ground ( whiffs slidehead) half way through. So is 6K
