Saw the first vid...nice match against marlin. I'm not one to really speak especially since i lack matchup experience against HOS, but u seem to get hit by his fire spike overdrive a lot. Also, I'm not sure but i think the CH P-counter even caught you off guard lol. I like how you began to adapt to HOS's attacks as the matches got on, with the S and 2S poking. And you have to watch out for the tick-throws although there were times where you reacted perfectly with 2P's and such. Enjoying the match vids and hope there are more to come. ^_^

FD RI is meant as means of keep away for Bridget. It gives him another form of escape. Use it to get air time while saving you a jump option in case your opponent tries to trap you. Use it to play a mean keep away game, as well as an air option.

Idk to each his own i guess...it's not like having a wide array of characters is something that would be a turn off. Its a fighting game...half the time you're hitting each other anyways.

Im just saying how BB characters are just simplified versions of GG characters. If GG has "freaks" BB has simplified "freaks".

Blackgenma, i can understand your sentiment, but idk, with the little amount of guilty gear players, i try to get my friends into it...which results in fail. People get turned off when playing someone who can play guilty gear cuz it looks overwhelming. Thats kinda why only those dedicated enough to fighting games will get into guilty gear.

You're comparing BB to something that came out in 98'? Even though Blazblue is the first of its individual series, its not like Arc System is new to the fighting game biz. They didn't make it simple just because it's the first of its series, but because it is more approachable to casual fans; a more dumb-down version of Guilty Gear. And "crazy, ugly freaks" !?!?!? Plz, just because blazblue isn't some generic collection of anime stereotypes, doesnt mean they are any less appealing. And even then Tager looks an awful lot like Potemkin...o_0. Litchi looks alot like Jam o_0. Jin and Ragna for gawd sake is just more typical anime versions of Ky and Sol, respectively.

It's in your profile pic 4r5 But seriously, yeah anime and mangas based off video games have rarely ever succeeded. Getting new guilty gear fans because of its anime rather than the game itself is also something I would like to steer away from. Its not that I oppose the idea of having the guilty gear fanbase increase, but I want it to increase because the game drew in more hardcore fighters not just because the anime or manga looked cool. Also, please not another outlet for GG-cosplaying...

Basically yeah. You just need to kinda have it in front of you to understand what im talking bout. But it seems you basically have it. Just plug your system to the inputs of your tv. Connect the dazzle to your comp and then connect that to your output on the tv and thats it.

Yeah don't mash 666 right away. Wait until the animation of j.D to finish and the recoil to finish, then you can input a normal air dash. Basically do what tolore says, the j.p->j.d->(wait for the animation to finish and the recoil to finish)->air dash Just make sure you have height when doing so. Once you get the hang of it, you can literally feel when the timing is right and when you can dash.

Well Arvoyea, I think actually all you need on your tv is one input for your game system (eg: ps2, xbox) and one output, to connect from your tv to the dazzle video capturing device. Oh, if you're asking about whether having two inputs is different from having one input and one output, i think it is cuz the output is so the video/audio gets transferred to your comp, if you had two inputs then you'll be basically sending your comp screen to the tv (which doesnt work with dazzle cuz i tried xD) and the game to your tv. Although im sure if you have multiple sets on your tv, then chances are one is for input and the other is for output, most tv's like that have one input and a bunch of outputs.

I actually got myself one of those...well Dazzle Plus or whatever it is called. Works nicely. Just make sure that your tv has an RCA input (yellow, white, red plug) and an outputs. The input is for the game system and the output is for the dazzle's RCA cable (meaning u need another red white yellow cable) which connects from the output to the dazzle video capturing device which then connects to the usb of your comp. The one i got came with the pinnacle software which is where u can record the vids and whatnot. You can check out my youtube page for vids that i recorded using the dazzle capturing device. BTW, if you don't have an output from your tv, you can always use a vcr or something that will allow you to reroute everything, but that's so complicated.

Lol this topic is so subjective. <pst pf the time if your character is really great of course you're gonna choose the one that made them that way. I like Accent Core because i never played slash before and it's the most recent. Plus Baiken is good although buri is weak =/ This is subjective because for example, i used to like using X2 testament, but now with his BL loop, idk i dont rly like him as much, although forward EXE beast is BEAST. Am i the only one?

Damn...i luv that OTG combo, but it is what it is, combo vid material. Still nonetheless that is a sick way to finish someone off. Correct me if I'm wrong but i think that only works with characters like Faust because of his weird hitbox when he's otg'd, similar to that of Baiken when she can do a 2D-->j.D on certain characters (faust and i think may).
