Hey guys I'm sorry for being lazy but is there some kind of document or link to Hyde's optimized combos? ipirate9 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Found my combo : 3C > vertical jump [C] > 66C > 214B > 4B (delay) > 4B (delay) > land > 3B > 2C > #1 ender or #2 ender** **#1 ender : 214B > 4B > 4B : 3041 damage **#2 ender > 236A > 236A > 66C > 623A > 214C > 3797 damage I'm actually quite confused as to how you are hitting 66C after the 8j.[C] does 66C OTG?

Dandy J Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 yeah its annoying you cant start a gatling with 2a and end it with 2a. a new gatling ive been going for after seeing someone abusing it online is gatling into 6b (1 hit) 5c charge. if the 6b hits, you get a full combo after the 5c. if not, the charged 5c is like +1 so you can continue pressure or gatling into 2a for even more frame adv this is basically most of hydes neutral. whenever you hit a button midrange it should be 6b into something

WintySoSolo Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 no staggering has been messing me up big time, it's like ingrained in my muscle memory to stagger everything on block. maybe everyone sucks at this game but I've had success at doing 5[C] 6B and catching people trying to mash after the 5[C].

There's a little written up on blockstrings on the mizuumi wiki now, but it's not complete. It's pretty much what everyone's been saying. By the way, if anyone wants to help with the wiki I encourage you to make an account and do so. I'm pretty slow with updates now for a variety of reasons.

I try to do 3B which just won't come out instead I get 3C and if I try to delay it a little longer, 3B just whiffs and they tech. If I try to mash it out they just tech, This is getting frustrating cause most of his high damage combo routes in the corner include this rekka.

The hitstun deterioration is too big after these 2 moves.

I dont have any particular trouble with it I don't really like 214A outside of pressure tho. It's not reliable enough imo. You should try : 5B > 5C > 214A > 214A > land > 2B > 214 B B B > land > 3B > 5C > 214B B B Deals the same damage and is easier to do imo

That means you had the chance to use it but pressed it a bit too early. The delay is the most important part though and is typically what decides if the combo went right or not.

Anyone have a better combo? Also @Zouf: I still cant get the 3C anti-air combo you posted on the last page :C Off a normal hit, the 66C just wont OTG :/ is there anyway you could link a video or something so I can see what its supposed to look like? I think if you try to input 66C right when you land it's too slow. The 66C needs to come out asap upon landing.I added those 3C combos to the wiki, and there's a good amount written out for Offense section too now. Have something to add or disagree with anything, feel free to post up.
