CrimsonDisaster Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Only managed to land one fatal counter combo since people weren't mashing enough while I was testing: CH 2C > 6C DC, 2C > 5D(1) XX 214B > 214D, land, dash 5B > 6A HJC hjC > D JC djC XX 214C, land, 5D XX HF/D ID/CS ~5k, 1k more than the ez mode 2C > 5D DC 6A air combo -> BE -> 5D XX whatever combo.

Less worth it in CS because 22C does 400 instead of like 800 damage now, though. Probably better to just end a combo with 22C for oki. There's a ~5k combo ending with 22C off CH 2C currently, maybe there's better stuff waiting to be discovered?

Keep in mind that the 5k combo is heatless. Imagine what Ragna can do with heat. Or is using heat with Ragna regulated to making yourself safe since Blood Kain is crap now and CS still seems mediocre.

CS is okay, minimum damage on supers thingy helps it a bit. Still more damage than HF RC blah blah usually. blah blah BE 5D CS adds like 200-400 damage over the meterless combo, decent if you need the kill or want max life steal.

Ha, good to know. Spent the little time i played with ragna to dick around with BE, didnt get much to try on BK. What is that BK combo nerfing i heard about so ? no more 5D corner rape or just JD nerfed ?
Final Ultima Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 New combo video from Tetsu here. Amazing stuff, plus it confirms some of my previous suspicions... Black Onslaught can now be special canceled into (which makes it ten times better, even if still not all that practical just yet). Keri Age now has enough untechable time to result in presumably universal follow-ups or at least some interesting air throw combos. Also, the wiki had not lied, dash 5B now works after 22C for a universal follow-up that hurts like hell. And finally, a METERLESS, QUADRUPLE 22C FATAL COUNTER COMBO! I don't care if it's not his best option for meterless damage anymore, that is just amazing.

Final Ultima Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Yeah, all those 6Ds make his j.Ds hit harder too. It was the only way I could do that Haku-Men 9800+ damage combo or the Ragna, Carl, v-13- death combo in Calamity Trigger.

Am I just hitting B too soon? The timing is very picky it seems. If j.B just isn't coming out, then you're just hitting the button too early. Also I usually super jump from 5C air hits like this cause they tend to be higher up. Yes, timing on that combo is very picky, but the delay 214D > 5C should be the hardest part. Try pressing the button a little later, and if it still doesn't come out there's always the 5 frame buffer thing to help.
