Kurumster Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Hey now! I won one before that one too. Not my fault everyone quit and or is NAH.
ChaseRLewis Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Hey, moved to Houston a couple months ago and now that the new job is a bit more stable. Looking into getting into some GG and possibly some P4. Just have been training mode a bit so I'll be free for at first but been playing fighting games awhile so hopefully will pick up stuff pretty quick. Gonna try to use some local netplay at least if no locals happening to try to up my game. Will edit with my PSN since I rarely play online and honestly can't even remember it. Used to play with the Melty players down here a bit but that's been awhile. Anyone have gatherings let me know. Job has me traveling so whenever I'm in town I'm free for games.
Shugotenshi Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 There's a Tournament this Saturday at Monster's Arcade, which seems to include Persona 4 Arena. I'm probably the only active Persona 4 player in Houston, so I haven't played locals since the release of the game. I'm still active online for the lulz though. I can play on both PSN and XBL if you're interested. Probably the only time I ever play offline is when I go to Free Play Fridays at Insomnia Video Game Culture near Monster's Arcade. http://www.facebook.com/events/538184069525947/?ref=2 I seem to have terrible luck being able to make it out to the UoH meets, unfortunately, so if unless asked to, I am highly unlikely to go. Our Anime Scene is dead, and whoever is left of the scene, aren't very motivated or supportive, so I'm just playing mainly for fun now. I still enjoy P4U a lot, so I'll always be up for some games.
AvG Mikko Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 ^ Ditto. Starting to play p4u again. Hmu on XBL. AvG Mikko
Ash of Arcadia Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 So is anyone else playing Chaos Code? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
TheJuggernaut Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Hey came down from South Florida and looking to get some games, pm me
Tensai Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I heard GG is gonna be at TX Showdowns this year. Whoot whoot.
faultydefense Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Do we really have GG interest? I apologize that I let Brian down to go play with old school players when the game came out on next gen but if there's still people wanting to play maybe I can redeem myself. and GG at showdowns... just like old times...
Tensai Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Bummer. At least I can aim for second place then.
Retro Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Anyone playing UNIEL in the area? Was hoping to get regular meetups going at Insomnia if anyone was interested
Liexi Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Don't think you'll have much trouble there, people will be playing that for a while here.
Red Kinikacha Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Anyone playing UNIEL in the area? Was hoping to get regular meetups going at Insomnia if anyone was interested If you can run a setup at insomnia, then please do. There's a severe lack of air dashers from my time of going. I know they're hosting a tourney for BB & UNIB in about 2 weeks, but a weekly or something for air dashers in houston would be nice. I'm not sure how free play Fridays look, but in my experience there's alot of sf, kof, injustice, and mk. Not alot of gg, bb, mb, unib, or sg.

Poultrygeist Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I'd like to start travelling to play BB, since people around where I live are only interested in Xrd : ( does Insomnia still hold weeklies for the game? If not is there somewhere else in the area with players?
cup Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I'd like to start travelling to play BB, since people around where I live are only interested in Xrd : ( does Insomnia still hold weeklies for the game? If not is there somewhere else in the area with players?I actually asked the guy at Insomnia about this. He told me what you already know. "We don't hold tournaments for Blazblue anymore because everyone switched over to Guilty Gear when it came out." --but, he went on to say, "Friday nights is free play, so you can come in and play whatever game you want with whoever you want."So I guess technically that'd count as weeklies, but you'd have to find other people willing to play with you that night. I gave up on BB for this exact reason, not much of a local scene. Now I'm part of the problem. I also just play Xrd. XD Poultrygeist 1
