May's concept art shows that she could have been a giant AX wielder instead of an anchor!. i wish the scans were closer in. i love stuff like that. also we knew about may's axe for a while. it was an a REALLY REALLY old GG1 prototype scan. back when it had prerendered 3D models as sprites. oh hey diz originally had two black bat wings. that's kinda neat.

Suzaku Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Alternate costume? You mean her original GG costume, or the beta design? In the beta she was a Brazilian knife-user. May had a battle axe named Bohemian, Potemkin was Russian and had a big scythe-like axe named Dreadnaught, and Baldhead had more normal proportions and a slightly more obviously Chinese outfit. Chipp's blade was named Les Paul, Ky was Russian, and I think Sol's personality was more good natured, but otherwise they aren't too different.

I'm aware that I-no's Guitar is Marlene. But the idea that Chipp's arm blade being named Les Paul...sounds interesting.

Random chicks in Sol-themed clothing with the FREE motif are pretty common for album covers and such. There's also the one blonde chick with the guitar, wearing Sol's limiter and FREE belt buckle hanging between her legs, sticking her tongue out, from the Guilty Gear X OST; the brown-haired girl with a guitar, wearing the limiter around her neck with FREE scrawled down her stomach, groping herself, from the Guilty Gear Series Best Sound Collection; and the red-headed girl dressed a bit like I-No, wearing skimpy HEVEN brand clothing, from the Guilty Gear Sound Complete Box Set. Edit: Oh, and Blade, no, a lot of that stuff doesn't seem to have made it into the canon lore. Chipp's blade is just called "Blade", May's anchor "Anchor", and so on.

EDIT: well, theres that one guy from king of fighters who's from mexico (forgot his name, he wears green, has short hair and beard and has an eye patch) and not a total stereo typical Mexican guy, so who knows, but I still doubt it. (wait, mexico is in north america, what constitutes a Hispanic?) my parents are Hispanic.

Krochos Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Mexico is in North America and it still counts as hispanic :-p The Judas one he put a lot of thought into, he's even started a bit of a story line and design 4 him. For instance, he uses a Cross shaped Halberd, He wears a cloak wif a strap in the middle that runs across his chest (resembling a cross), and one of his specials (or maybe instant kill) wud be a crucifixion on a huge cross (not 100% abt it as it mite be religously wrong), and him n Slayer have a history. Lol. Last one is kinda obvious. He also has been bouncing around sum ideas for a girl named Alice who fights with a Rabbit and Cat each chained 2 one of her arms (Alice In Chains/Alice in Wonderland gimmick). Hot right?

My main thing is I want him/it to be a Big Gear similar 2 Potemkin but with more speed and who obviously hates Gears. A Machine who hates Machines, the perfect joke. Idk where 2 go from there

Europe doesn't count though if you ask me... cuz Spanish people are white. Central America counts as North America continent wise I believe... Krochos: Cool. :D I have like 11 Guilty Gear OCs. The most thought out ones have move lists, profiles done GG style, and PWAB files... I can't believe I've written so much... @.@ I'm not as clever with names and stuff though. Come to think of it one of my characters uses a flag as a weapon cuz I thought it'd be cool. Daisuke totally stole my idea later on by giving Sin that weapon. ;.;

Like the fact Johnny is a womanizer, and he cud have sumthin against the "holy" order. Lol. See, so many directions one cud go. Now I wanna go and work on my own characters, cuz Judas was my bros idea along wif Alice. Lemme go start looking up crap on RAtM Maybe I cud give him a whip (referencing to Audioslave's Better Bomb song being the fact audiosave is made up of most of Rage's old band members) Is there a thread for Character Creations on this site?
