Okay, please don't kill me. I didn't know where to post this thread. Anyway, I enjoy using Nicovideo, but I can't read japanese. I was hoping I could subscribe, favorite, and upload videos. Can I do this, and does anybody know how to?

nico video is in spanish, german and chinese. But there are not english

i speak spanish and understand nicovideo

it's complicated to writte in english.

Nico Video Registration (Free Nico Registration, not Premium)

Step 1: Go here: https://secure.nicovideo.jp/secure/register

Box 1: E-mail Address

Box 2: Username (2-16 characters)

Option 3: Avatar

Option 4: Gender (*Male *Female)

Option 5: Birthday (Y/M/D)

Option 6: Province/Prefecture (Does it matter!? )

Boxes 7-8: Password (8-16 Characters Maximum)

Option 9: Membership Type:

Upper * Premium (525 Yen per month)

--Always logged in no matter how many people are online.

--Play Quality videos even during high traffic downloads.

Lower * General Membership (Free) <----Choose this one.

--Limited amount of people can be logged in/so many days.

--Low Traffic = Good Quality Video

--Limited Functionality.

Grey Box at the Bottom: Register Button.

Then, when you click Register, go to your E-mail, confirm the link, yadda yadda, go back to the page, then go to any video you wanna see, or just go here again:

First Box: E-mail

Second Box: Password

Then when the video plays, depending on what it is, you may want to click the comment box "off" (the little chickie with the "..." speak circle above him) as that's texts of comments that scrawl over the top of the video.

I already have an account. I want to know if it has similar features as youtube, such as favoriting, subscribing, and uploading videos >_>

If you're on your "My Page" you can make something called "My List". You can make 25 lists of 100 videos, or if you're a premium member, 500 videos per list.

On each video there is a drop tab in the upper right corner that can let you add a video to "My List" It looks like this:

Once you've added a video to your list, you can go back to your "My Page" and edit any of your "My List"'s. Or you can go here:

Then, when you go to that page, you may rename the titles of videos in English, or delete them from the list (third button on the right).

As for subscriptions, that involves seeing another user's video page.
