he doesn't have a 623P though?

He doesn't, of course, but there are other examples. In Kudakero RC combos you'd want to get dash-Bandit Bringer (236[K]) for maximum carry to get the dustloop afterwards, but WT command (623K) gets in the way. Slightly delaying Bringer by doing 41236[K] works, but doesn't get quite close to the carry that could be achieved without the 412 part.

On that note, I kind of feel like it's sometimes (intentionally or not) balances certain things. Being able to just do running BR's and BB's with Sol would be pretty crazy, and this prevents it from happening (well, without 25 meter anyway). I might be digging to deep into it, but in this case, it always struck me as such.

6236 is so infuriating. How fucking good would IAD Stun Edge be if it weren't for that crap

Have you tried 2366k? Works pretty good, especially for these examples...

i wasn't saying DP input leniency didn't get in the way of doing microdash quartercircle motions. i was just questioning his example.

Slash showed that it was possible without making things too good.  As for adding extra inputs to confuse the input reader, in my experience if you do it fast enough it still doesn't work, and that's really the whole point, I don't want to have shortcuts made for beginners interfering with my precision.  It adds unnecessary inconsistency to the system.
