relight Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I think her assist recharges too quickly, and IMO they could increase it's proration too, the damage is too much for a character with such a powerful C attack.
SolxBaiken Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 The purpose of the game is to win, not be flashy, this seems to be her most optimal combo and I would see no point of doing anything outside of it, and the fact it uses no meter is GOOD especially since the full variant does 1/2 health. Erika can spend her meter on B-Escape. Sure it may not look terribly interesting to see the same combo, and I agree that you should probably master some of her tricks with her assist, but poking into confirming into that combo is pretty legit. EDIT - Erika has seen the least amount of changes during the post release patches, but she suffered many nerfs leading up to the game's release (Cyclone Chain is so useless now) so while I expect them to nerf her soon, I'd rather they not :<
furix Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Sadly, no body can escape the nerf bat(more like, iron bat with spikes D: ) that every character receives in BBB. D:
TSHKN Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 so true furix R.I.P. Agito B chain into punk knife combo
relight Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Instead of nerfing left and right, maybe Frontier Aja should consider buffing the weaker characters instead of nerfing the already strong ones(such ad Burai and Rouga) over and over.... Games with strong characters are IMO more fun to play with.....I used to play a lot of KoF and MBAC and these are the games that have strong characters all over the place.
TSHKN Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 they should give the all characters the rest of there Specials move and super and b-button they really got to make the twins 2C jump cancel able that would help them so much with combos

Even though Burai and Rouga are probably the most nerfed characters in the game, they're STILL devastating. Both have great rush down, good mixups, good pressure, pretty beastly damage, and both are doing fine in the health department. While I agree that characters like Sanzou, Mecha Heita, Hanny, etc. should be buffed, a nerf does not instantly make a character bad. Even with all of the nerfs I would still put Burai and Rouga around top tier.
TSHKN Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 would u say john that Agito and Ericka are S tier or is that to high cause feel like it from the netplay matches ive seen so far
JohnGrimm Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 would u say john that Agito and Ericka are S tier or is that to high cause feel like it from the netplay matches ive seen so far Erika definitely has S tier potential. She's very good at range, but it does seem that if you manage to get in her face she's toast. At least A tier for sure. Agito is a great character with a mix of range and traps to make him sort of a Testament type character, which is really strong. I'd say his biggest weakness is fighting against someone with faster normals than he has, but I can definitely see him being S tier.
DogsofWar Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 (edited) I know this is alot to ask, does anyone know where i can find the latest update patch (or even one that's slightly out of date). Or if someone could be REALLY nice and upload one.... Nevermind, i figured out if you reinstall the game, it automatically updates. Hope that helps if anyones having that problem. Squil Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Never played BBB 1st Impression but... will the rest of the cast have some move or something when u press D (special)? Like Kinako summon those ghosts to keep using her moves and Heita doing that taunt to prolong his BBB Mode?... cause a lot of them do NOTHING when u press D alone :/ kinda sad.
SolxBaiken Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I would like them to, otherwise it seems kind of dumb... In First Impression the D button was Boost (which in Revolve ONLY Rouga has now) and like in Revolve was used for Supers. It seems in Revolve they were trying for an idea similar to the Drive button in BlazBlue but like I think about the game as a whole, it was a 1/2 thought out and rushed idea.
Squil Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 (edited) From Boost you mean the moves become an EX version like SF? If so i could imagine this boost making REN and his "fake shoulder move 214A" being at least usefull or maybe he could throw not 1 but 2 items ;D would be funny see him throwing 2 molotovs when the enemy is in the corner. LOL Edited October 20, 2011 by Squil
SolxBaiken Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 No, Boost as in Rouga's B-Dash ability, EVERYONE had that in First Impression, also if you held D you began charging your Super gauge which was needed for ALL attacks back then, and the interesting thing was you can charge your Super gauge into empty space on your life bar. It's really sad that rather than working out the problems they just ditched the system all together, and yet they're making similar mistakes.

Frontier Aja does not have the license to the original fighting system, it belongs to NRF. Also, I think they gave the boost to Rouga as a reference to his Wolf Fang skill in Big Bang Age.
TSHKN Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 i found a 1 meter Rouga mid screen combo :5C,TK J214S,[2C,214A,214B]X3
relight Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 (edited) I found a way to add big bang clash into Kunagi's combo JC, 5B2B5C--> A+B+C --->5C(1)2C4C [xx], JC 236B--> 6A 412AC[x] J236A 4C ---> 41236 A+B+C The J236A i is the most tricky part, the timing is strict....chaining into 5C would be more forgiving but it seems that Kunagi's ultimate can only be chained from 4C... Edited October 21, 2011 by relight
Squil Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Still trying to find a good combo for mecha heita that works on everyone and dont have strict timing to execute :/ dumb char
Chipp12 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Nonono, in BBB 1st every character had it's own "taunt", which was usable 3 times (4 for Heita to enter his Super Heita mode), Kunagi's and Senna's were the same, but as I've said, it was usable only 3 times and acted like Senna's 22D. About the Revolve - the characters that still have nothing on their D button are: Ren Idagawa Daigo Hotta Devil Daigo Miyazato Gundan Mecha Heita And the characters that still haven't got BB mode buffs are: Kunagi Tenrou Ren Idagawa Nakanishi Sisters Hanny Devil Daigo Miyazato Gundan Edited October 22, 2011 by Chipp12
JohnGrimm Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 And the characters that still haven't got BB mode buffs are: Is infinite super meter not enough for you? What would you rather see?
Aureliano Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) In the context of this game infinite meter is completely worthless, especially since the duration is so short. That feature has effectively no use for those characters. Not a bad use, not a weak use - none at all, zero, nada. Edited October 22, 2011 by Aureliano

That feature has effectively no use for those characters. Not a bad use, not a weak use - none at all, zero, nada. That's completely bullshit. Now that chip damage is added, Ren in Big Bang mode can do an inescapable 25% in chip damage after a knockdown, The Nakanishi Sisters can do a 75% combo on Rouga that would otherwise be impossible, Devil Daigo has an Advanced Hyper Viper Beam combo that not only hits full screen but does 60% at least, Hanny can link unlimited supers together and get 50% damage, and just the fact that you can use your Big Bang Break to tack on a bunch of extra damage gives some use for Kunagi and Erika. In almost every case, Big Bang Mode is a guaranteed round ender for even the weaker characters in the game, to say that without error on behalf of the player a guaranteed win is worthless is completely ridiculous.

Agreed, but even so would be nice to have some kind of buff or diferent effects for each ability (like Heita), and the Devil Daigo Beam, Beam, Super Beam its so easy to do that looks silly lol PS: They need to buff mecha heita, he sux balls
Chipp12 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Is infinite super meter not enough for you? What would you rather see? Everybody have got infinite super meter, and I'm talking about the unique features for every character. By the way, Mecha Heita's dash in Big Bang Mode reminds me Rouga's B-Dash alot, at list it doesn't cancel everything, right?
