Starting last July there has been a project started by Dustloop users to create comprehensive character guides for beginners. The first of the guides to be highlighted is the Lambda-11 Beginners Guide by Frost Monarch. The guide is very comprehensive and covers just about everything a beginner would want to know.

To follow up with the West Coast Round-Robin, there will also be an East Coast Round-Robin this Saturday, September 5th at 6AM PDT/9AM EDT. Players featured will be Lost Soul (Elphelt), Drunken Chicken (Ramlethal), Marvisto (Ky), TSB | Mynus (I-No), Marlin Pie (Zato-1).

Various American and Japanese GGXrd players have organized a West Coast Round Robin event that will be streamed on Nico Nico Douga and Mr. Biscuits Twitch channel this Friday. Mr. Biscuits will be giving commentary in English alongside The Brett. The broadcast will happen September 4th at 9PM PDT/12AM EDT.

Nesica's PR Twitter account announced that this weekend Arc System Works will livestream Blazblue Central Fiction loketests from four cities in Japan. Schedule and links to the livestreams below.

Famitsu has some footage from the recent invite-only location test. It's a Red vs. White team battle among the participants! For those of you who don't know, a Red vs. White battle is basically a huge team battle where they take all the players there, divide them into 2 teams, and battle it out pokemon style until one team wins. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the 3 videos they've put up. I can't read japanese, so I can't provide any additional details, but enjoy the footage!

Today, Arc System Works have announced the choices for the poll to decide the next playable character. A varied list of 16 characters from across the series are in the running, with the surprising inclusion of Fanny from GG Petit.

SKD was able to get into the invite-only location test while he was in Japan and wrote up his impressions. He goes into system mechanics, details on Hibiki, Izayoi, as well as short impressions on most of the cast.

With Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- hitting arcades, plenty of footage featuring the new character Jack-O' and returning character Johnny have appeared in various parts of the internet. In particular 4Gamer released a video interviewing Pachi about the new characters. CleverFOXSOL has also posted footage featuring Johnny and Jack-O's instant kills. Early this morning, Arc System Works held their special Guilty Gear Xrd - Revelator - Launch Event on Nico Live.

As a special announcement, it was revealed that the next batch/round of characters to debut in Xrd will be determined by an in-game voting system, which subsequently means that this voting system will currently only be open to players in Japanese Arcades.
