Jourdal has been steady at work uploading new footage on his YouTube channel over the past weeks. Most notably for Guilty Gear fans are 6 first to 7 showcases all featuring Tomo (Leo) against some of Mikado's finest, including the EVO World Champion himself - Ogawa (Zato).

Check out the matches and more info after the break.

EDIT:
Since Jonio has recently uploaded the same videos (and more) that Jourdal had initially hosted, the latter has taken his vids down in deference to the Mikado manager.
In what seems to be his farewell gauntlet from Mikado (and possibly Tokyo as a whole) - Tomo goes head to head in First to 7 match sets against Ain (Ky), Karinchu (Mi), Roi (So), and Yousuke (Ax) - all who were absent at EVO 2015 (including Tomo himself). Lastly, he faces the Evolution 2015 GGXrd World Champion Ogawa (Za) in what was a jaw dropping set packed with stellar play and incredible decision making.
Check out the videos below, and be sure to subscribe to Jonio's YouTube Channel for all games, casuals, and tournaments at Mikado, and Jourdal's YouTube Channel and as well for all things Guilty Gear, Blazblue, Persona, and UNIEL[st].

Arc System Works have announced a closed location test for BlazBlue Central Fiction which will take place on the 24th of August between the hours of 12pm and 7pm.

For this closed location test, which is the first of its kind for the BlazBlue series, invitations are planned to be sent to the top ranking players of the arcade version of BlazBlue Chronophantasma as well as the winning and runner-up teams in the Arc Revo 2015 BlazBlue tournament. This year was a huge year at Evolution 2015 for anime and airdasher games. Guilty Gear Xrd and Persona 4 Ulimax were present in the line up of main Evo games, Arc System Works hosted the US Arc Revolution Qualifier for both Guilty Gear Xrd 3v3 and Blazblue Chronophantasma Extend 3v3, and a huge community run event known as AnimEvo hosted a multitude of side tournaments ranging from large BBCPE and UNIEL tournaments that quickly capped at 128 players to other games like Arcana Heart 3 Love Max and Vampire Savior. Competition was fierce this year and all games had good showings which included international players from Japan. Overall the event was a huge success, so please send your thanks and support to the crew at AnimEvo.

Facebook Local Groups Directory

By shtkn, in Home,

A lot of players use Facebook nowadays and players have made Facebook Groups as a convenient way to communicate between local players. Looking for a group near you? @Cool_Camyoin made an openly editable Google Sheet to help players find each other!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IL522ObSNiMLaD7CLonHZ7OBmMvZcUnOaTgX9GdLw8U/edit?pli=1

There's tabs for both USA and International Groups at the bottom, please add your local Group if you don't see it in there!

mAc Chaos

The community responses to our outreach have been overwhelming. So overwhelming in fact that we need a new thread just for them.

There is now a General Revamp Brainstorming thread to carry any discussion about the totality of Dustloop and how to improve it. Please drop by and give us your thoughts on how to increase community involvement at Dustloop, encourage discussion, bring in new players, and whatever else you think needs fixing here.

Some of the suggestions put forward are already being implemented, so expect to see more changes soon.

3.4 to 4.0

We currently run IPS 3.4, and 4.0 was released back in April.

Upgrade Will Be Longer Than Usual

This is a major change, so downtime will be much longer than usual, as I want to download a backup of the servers in case things go horribly wrong. There are no good estimates for how long this will take, but I expect at least a few hours (and possibly a whole day) will be needed.

I plan on starting this late Saturday night if I'm free by then. If not, then Sunday.

Why Upgrade?

The key feature that interests us is front page should be more configurable. The forums should also see slight improvements as well.

Why Didn't You Upgrade Sooner?

This is a major upgrade. Typically this means major parts of the software has been rewritten and as such, certain features may unexpectedly go missing. I was hesitant to upgrade due to this, but seeing as we're trying to make the Front Page actually useful now, and 4.0 promises more options to do so, I've finally decided to bite the bullet.
