I can taste the salt. (I can do this too). Labrys is a good beginner character too. Kanji has easy execution requirements but will teach you a LOT of bad habits.

I play pocket Mitsuru, I'm speaking from experience. She's very easy to pick up and learn the game with compared to the rest of the cast IMO. Chie will give you better anime fundamentals, but Mitsuru is overall I think the easiest character to get more bang for your buck in terms of training mode stuff. She's got good easy B&Bs and will teach you to translate random hits into damage very well. Entry level -> mid level Mitsuru is fun and will teach you a lot.

Play Mitsuru or Chie. Both are relatively easy and have very stable gameplans. Mitsuru has solid easy combos that don't require a lot of adjustment to change from hit to hit. She has some of the easiest execution in the game for mid range stuff.

It's good they changed the UI, you can tell what version the game is in gameplay from the visuals alone.

yosuke is most predictable when hes landing. almost no yosuke from far away is going to do any of his various air options if hes about to hit the ground from far away, this is usually the safest time to hit a d attack. idk anything else about this matchup. most bad yosukes will expect you to block when confused so they'll attempt a mixup, not a bad time to be mashing 236236C haha

IK goes through EX beam and EX fire pillar wave thingy. on reaction. need to be at neutral frame advantage for it to be fast enough to react though. maybe the test i did sucked tho. i mean like, you can already IK liz with 100% meter anyway, usually. but this is funnier and cant be bursted!

neat fact: you can do r action to absorb a persona hit and then immediately grab super. any persona attacks that have long active frames will often beat you if you move into range to grab the person, but if you absorb the hit with r action, they no longer hit you cant thwack you out of the extra range. i learned this by mashing.
