  1. Did not notice the hairpin, that's pretty cool
  2. It might not be a reference to Litchi. Didn't all characters have a palette like that in CS, red and gold? If I remember right, the palette was also on the same exact spot in the color selection for everyone so it seemed like a common thing. They might just be bringing that back.
  3. I always saw abare as being 2 things depending on whether we are talking about a player or a character: Character-wise: what heca's post says, its ability to deal consistent damage off random hits. Player-wise: the player's own ability and reflexes to react to random hits/hit-confirm and convert to efficient damage. Am I wrong?
  4. Highly doubt it would be so slow that it would largely influence momentum. I honestly don't expect it to be too much slower than litchi's staff placing. But meh, can't say for sure.
  5. Don't believe any specific data like that has been released about it. But for all it's worth, modes/stances that give different moves and whatnot are USUALLY pretty fast in switching. But we have no way of knowing for sure until they give us more info about it or until she's made playable.
  6. Seconded. As for the new chars, as long as Bullet is not as dismal as tsubaki was in CS, don't see why she wouldn't get a lot of use, specially online.
  7. Since when does tier-list factor into online whining? I mean, look at Tager.
  8. That is actually more complex (and expensive data-wise) than it sounds. It would have to keep track of how many times you've fought every random guy online. Better than no trimming, but it's still not that great a solution. I just think letting you choose who you want to keep records of is just way simpler and straightforward. Though it would add extra junk to press through after every match, even a single extra yes-no prompt can get annoying and break your flow. Meh, I personally wouldn't have much use for this, I don't really need to keep specific data to know how I'm faring vs a particular player I know. Don't see why not. Win loose ratios shouldn't really matter too much vs random people, and vs people you know, they'll typically understand and you won't feel like a dick. Sure, some people would still RQ to "save themselves time and start next fight" or just to spite you, but it would at least cut down on the few that just do it to keep a high win ratio. Not that I care for getting the win, but that stuff is just annoying.
  9. That sounds like a bit of a clusterfuck. Unless they trim it down, like end of game when they ask you if you want to save replay, could have 1 for adding player to this chart. Otherwise it would just be huge for anyone that plays against random people, even if just for a tiny bit once every month. Looking some1 in specific would be either hell or at the very least somewhat annoying.
  10. That sounds like an extremely roundabout way of showing a win-loose ratio
  11. Well, I guess it does encourage new players to not learn much else combo-wise. But I don't know, I started playing P4U 2 days ago and had not played a single fighting game in almost a year, and I still destroyed people online. Only couple times I lost was massive lag vs kanjis >_> I don't see why one would whine about getting blown up by someone that's basically gimping himself doing rather inefficient combos.
  12. I hear some complaints about the auto-combo feature being "easy combo by mashing", but I really don't see much a difference between auto-combo and every character just having follow-ups on their 5A (like Tsubaki has for a lot of her normals). Only real difference is you can keep mashing after for a special and super that can be much less effective than other options. I personally prefer BB, but I think it's mostly emotional investment (first fighting game, just way more familiar with it, never really was into persona games, etc). Gameplay-wise I find them equally fun. That being said, probably not playing BB till CP comes out.
  13. As far as I remember, ya, he gets captured by Relius. As for why he seems fine in CP, we might have to play that story to find out, but I'm assuming it's something along the lines of being used by Relius and friends.
  14. Hopefully not, i hate this mirror
  15. no mu? ;-;
  16. i love it, good stuff man
  17. dat mu <3
  18. Noel - Triangle Makoto - Gong
  19. naw man, its online, he gets the ability to 720 through your perfectly timed strings. He's broken. My worst match-up with mu? hard to say, valk or rachel probably. Though that has a lot less to do with the matchup than it does with me just being attrocious.
