  1. i meant it more like outfit-wise rachel head on plat body didn't fit as well imo
  2. im baffled at how good plat's head goes with rachel's body o.o
  3. i'm a rekka character fan, and i'd venture rui got some for meh, but cait and sith also seem real interesting, just wish they'd get more screen time
  4. there was a 6k, jaw dropped
  5. sweet, not the only one who had that exact same thought
  6. im loving the pace, just wishing there was more cait & sith gameplay, most of the characters looking very awesome.
  7. more videos up on ReXXXSoprano's YT
  8. lol, good, i wasn't the only 1 going "just hammer her damn it!!!!" during that part. i'd be willing to have a change of heart =x
  9. there's plenty, everyone knows fate's where its at
  10. very interesting, i hope it does well enough on arcades to get a console port, really really hoping for it.
  11. hecatom, u made me lol for quite a bit, very good 1, did not see that 1 coming at all XD
  12. nope, not quite there yet, needs more
  13. i think that noel with litchi body would have looked better with her hair down, the beret is just so out of place.
  14. u're not playing bang right unless u FRKZ, real talk. srsly whats this talk of using drives or not? some characters depend less on drive than others, but who really cares how strong they are without them? fact is they are always going to be usable, and if u are not using them, u will be less effective than someone who does, period.
  15. dat circ and his flashy sprite links, thnx a bunch man
  16. its not strict, and it does not require hours to do at all. If this link in particular is "impossible" for u, don't play mu, because it's a rather important link for her. pads are inherently better for repeated direction inputs like 66, a stick won't help u do this better, practicing timing will. And you are definitely doing it wrong if you are waiting for her to land before u start to input it, u should be pressing the 2nd 6 by the time she actually touches the ground. It does require a bit of timing, but the time u spent posting all this u could have spent in training mode modifying your timing until u can get it. Most people who complain about links like these just go in training and try it once and just repeat the same over and over and over without actually bothering to alter their timing, just hoping that they'll get it right at some point. It will make it easier timing-wise, but the input is still the same, and u will still have to time the dash to come out right after u land. Instead of hoping ASW fixes your execution problems, do it urself. Seriously, it's not even that strict, considering both other FGs and BB itself, there's stricter stuff. If u definitely want to learn this link, then don't complain and practice it, actually alter your timing depending on how it's coming out now.
  17. indeed, first time i read that i died a little inside

  18. thats a given, since the input layout is different. Doing repeated motions like dashes, or 22 are much easier to do on pad, since u are just mashing the same button twice with your thumb instead of moving your whole hand/wrist (I also personally find DP motions to be easier on pad, just imo). On the other hand, spin-like motions like 236, 214, most TKs, 360, 720, and variants of that are usually 100 times easier to do on a stick for rather obvious reasons (seriously try to 720 on pad and u'll see ). Stick also has a more convenient button layout (outside of motions i mean), and using more than one finger for pressing attack buttons makes the job a lot easier (like playing carl, nirvana control mid-combo on pad = ). of course, preference also plays its part. If you have been a frequent console player for quite a bit (like me), doing complex motions on a pad becomes easier, and making the switch to a stick is much harder.
  19. arcade sticks are a bit outside of the scope of my budget sadly, i would like to buy 1 at some point though
  20. d-pad. I used to do analog until i realized i couldn't dash worth a crap, so i switched. I couldn't do 236236 motions too well on it when i started CT (i used longer moves like 2C to let me switch the thumb to the analog stick for them XD), but i can do any motion now quite easily, never quite had trouble with burning my thumb. I've been a console gamer since like forever, so a controller feels just perfect in my hands. Though if i had an arcade within a 3-hour drive from home, i would probably save up for an arcade stick.
  21. those should be the special ones. Like: 1-grio: she extends her nails up at an angle 2-fuoco: dashes forward with one of her arms extended forward and spinning like a drill it was probably one of those 2, most probably fuoco
  22. but she's my third character ;-;
  23. i play her too, though dont expect me to put up a big challenge
  24. The combo requires practically no spacing, if 3C->22BC->66C works, then so will the full combo. Instead, its more timing dependant, you need to catch the opponents fairly low with 66C and have a small delay for practically ever move until d.6C hits, the delays are also a bit character dependant. Litchi and Ragna are the only ones that ever game me trouble trying to do this on them, but its still very very possible. Funny enough, carl is the easiest, sometimes i could even do j.D->6D->d.6B->d.5C->jc->j.D->d.6B->fenrir ender on him (cant vs the others, they tech IMMEDIATELY after the last bullet and before the final hit), and he would tech a split second after getting hit by the final hit for like 5.4k. I only did this like twice though, never could make it happen again, probably revolves around the number of d.6C hits. I personally found it bloody hillarious that carl had a combo that could be modified for more dmg vs him than the rest of the cast. Anywho, i find it pretty good, its not too hard on the most annoying hitboxes like hazama, tsubaki, and makoto :3
