Offline Taokaka is infinitely easier than online I found last night (blocking OVERHEADS and CROSS-UPS!). Played a Taokaka last night in casuals for about 15+ matches (this guy took me out of a CS1 tourney a long time ago lol). Don't have to rush anything in this match. If you play patient, blocking all of Taokaka's pressure, you can spot an opening sooner or later. Her 6B overhead I could 2C on reaction but the way I won with it was to make him think it was safe to throw out 6B by blocking it a few times first. 6A is definitely the go to normal to use if you don't have rods to scare off drive approaches. My plan against him was basically: - you do enough damage to win off of 2 or more good reads so you can afford to play patiently.

Fought Taokaka all last night in casuals. Felt good to win. This Tao player was the one that took me out of a CS1 tournament way back orz Pay back!

Man I still want to go to AUFO again :V Just went to that SUBWAY FIGHT NIGHT today: San Antonio has a Taokaka player omg. I guess the SA character list now looks like: Noel Rachel Jin Taokaka Arakune Mu although the skill levels vary greatly.

My favorite matchup is Rachel vs. Noel. It's the only matchup where I get to fight a player of any skill/type and still fear that I'll lose so I'm always awake during the fights.

No. The lock symbol only appears on the DLC characters if you haven't purchased them yet. Mu is unlockable so if you don't have her she is just absent from the select screen.

lol I thought the first thing everyone did upon getting BBCS was unlocking Mu :P To be fair sometimes you lose data and can't be bothered going through all that again so maybe buying her is the best solution in the end.
