  1. It was around the time she encountered QB and agreed to contract :P
  2. Lol yeah that small Rachel pic is what I used for the tutorial thread :D
  3. It's the conspiracies again Demi. I can't get to DL without a proxy. I think there is someone out there watching my every move ;S new Rachel pic? I like this one
  4. Queen of Roses are Red! Everyone get Wipeout HD too lol. I'm slowly trying to learn the game (i.e I'm uberfree at it right now) -_-
  5. Give me Whip so I can have my old team back :X
  6. Zoning is effective only at a certain distance. 236A range is dangerous. You might as well block and wait for a chance to knock her down. Pumpkin is really nice to have in this match-up. Makoto's 3C can one-shot George so keep an eye out for that when you have him out.
  7. 6A needs to be unblockable and a sonic boom comes out whenever you use it. :D
  8. Let's all watch wuku play: Battle for Seattle Grand Finals Omg final round was so hype haha
  9. I can't connect to Dustloop normally for some reason. I have to use a proxy for now
  10. Rachel and Valk players are rare for me on PSN Looks like I'm not very good at fighting Bang, Litchi, and Lambda. What are everyone's weak match-ups?
  11. Made a quick visual guide on the crossunder setups. I'm trying to get comfortable with Vegas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4rUzbpJz2w
  12. I'm really digging Color#4 on the 2nd page.
  13. Welcome ;D You should ask that question in the Gameplay discussion thread as Astral setups are outside the scope of this thread. Here is a link: Rachel Introduction and Gameplay Discussion Thread Unless, of course, you consider the threat of Astral "pressure". EDIT: I also forgot to correct something. The 3C 9D cross-under also fails on Tager.
  14. This was already posted in there. It's a pretty good mix-up but it is indeed slower and carries the risk of getting DP'd out of. @Polka: What would examples of "Resetting Pressure" be?
  15. I'm going to assume by j.2C you mean landing a lv.2 j.2C. Both methods work you just have to learn the timing. The 2A whiff method I personally use. The only drawback from using this method is that sometimes 2A will connect if the opponent bounces low to the ground so you end up with a dropped combo. Main thing to keep in mind is that 5C startup is pretty slow so you have to make sure it's out by the time they are about to hit the ground. Sooner rather than later is what I think to myself when I try to time it.
  16. Reformatted the posts. I think it looks nicer now. :D Added a corner 50% heat combo. It's the 6A > BBL > lv.3 j.2C stuff.
  17. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14830212 I knew it! EDIT: Pretty much finished the tutorial thread. Also, made another IRC channel on the same server as DL IRC. #nagoball at irc.efnet.net Come idle if you want I'll be idling as well. Skype lags my netbook so IRC would be more convenient for me as of now ;X
  18. Dustloop lookin' like PSN :X
  19. Hello, nobody I made my own personal netplay match-up chart. Useless I know, but it's fun to see I think. I'm going to update it every week! DATA INSIDE Here is the actual chart but more info is in the link:
  20. In this match-up I find it really effective to keep the lightning rods out. Just having them out there can make Taokaka hesitant on approaching.
  21. Note that crossunders only work if the opponent techs at the correct time. If they choose not to tech you can extend into a bluebeat combo. Some crossunders I came up with a few weeks ago. A really nice crossunder setup by Jason D. is as follows.
  22. I wonder what those character rankings were about.
  23. Rachel so mad. I think she's about to instant overhead j.A.
