  1. Oh right well with the exception of sledge. But I've gotten a few that got wise to the DP thing and tried to use sledge to stuff it but just like a DP I can bait that sledge and simply block. It's just a huge guessing game on both players parts. He's trying to read you as you're trying to read him.
  2. I've been using 5B to stop those that just run at me. Sometimes I win and can get a combo, but most of the time it trades with his 5B or 5C. I just need to work on IBing. I can do it alright as far as the action goes, but recognizing and capitalizing off of it is another matter entirely.
  3. I find myself playing hit and run mostly against Tager. 5B is my main poke. I make use of 2A and 5A as well as the occasional CC and jump away. Also since it's easy to build up charge against him I never go for any kind of attack without at least one stocked charge so I can 623D just in case I get caught and he does GF. 623D seems to beat all of his mixup options after GF but like any DP he can bait it so I wouldn't get too predictable with it.
  4. 623D is always a good option if you have a charge available. So in other words the best and pretty much only ways to punish him and/or break his pressure strings is by Ibing huh? But what about those Ragna's that like to play it safe? Those are the ones that give me the most trouble.
  5. I do that. If I have 3 or more charges at the time I run up and do 236236D.
  6. You can punish her 3C with yours too if I'm not mistaken. I've done it a few times and it worked but I can't be sure if it was really a punish or if they just failed to block the low hit. Tsubaki's 623A is also good for knocking Noel out of drive strings. A well timed grab or 2A and 5A work fine too.
  7. The most important thing is to not get stuck blocking too much against Valk. I've beaten his j.C with her 2C before too but you have to anticipate it a little. 5B isn't bad for keeping him back while on the ground. 623x works pretty well against him but don't get too greedy with it. If he baits it you could lose half of your life or more.
  8. This so much. Tager can IB grab anything Tsubaki does. Against a Tager that knows this, you do not want to rely on long pressure strings. Use your pokes to fish for that hit that you need to start a combo or make an opening.
  9. I have the same problem. Breaking his pressure strings is tricky but the DP usually works for 6B. It's just a matter of being able to react to it quick enough. 5A isn't as reliable but it can trade with it most of the time. I've had it beat 6B once or twice before as well but timing it is REALLY tricky. Another issue I have is ways to approach. What are some generally useful ways to approach Jin? I know that air approaches should be done sparingly since he has a DP to beat that and 3C.
  10. I feel your pain. This matchup straight up sucks. And charge cancelling isn't that safe to do on him since all of his normals beat yours. If he anticipates a CC he just poke you with a 5B or 2A, 5A into combo. He doesn't even have to do IB~ID.
  11. Ok then I won't be doing that anymore lol. Good to know.
  12. Ok thanks for the tips. I'll remember that. Despite how bad Tsubaki is, I mean damn lol, I still love playing her nonetheless. On another note, I believe Tsubaki's 236236C/D DD beats 360 and 720. I did this once on wakeup when Tager tried to go for the old AC, pull you in with magnetism and trick you into neutral teching into a 720. Is that legit or did I just get super lucky?
  13. Tsubaki has it rough...
  14. Ok then after reading through all of the pages in this thread I've learned that Tsubaki has no real reliable ways of approaching Tager. But I find that I usually always have plenty of charge in this match up so my question is about 623D as a way of breaking out of pressure. Is it a good idea to save that one charge for that purpose but any others built up being used to tack on that extra damage when I manage to land a solid hit?
  15. I agree with kriaser. I've just been using Nu to get ready for Lambda. Basically practicing the BnB drive combos and use of TK sabers and such. Since I like Lambda's playstyle much better anyway, Nu is just for me to get used to doing some of her stuff.
  16. I don't know to get it to work either. Maybe the lunaport files are supposed to go in the same folder as the game files?
  17. Sorry for double post but I'm having a little problem using my stick now and I don't know why. The game is reading my joystick for player 1, but my buttons are controlling player 2. I have no idea why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  18. Joy2Key is good too. That's what I use and it works with my 360 TE stick. Saki is my favorite so far. I love the whole samurai girl thing.
  19. Nice. I kinda like her style. Maybe she'll still be a boss also just maybe her boss version will be stronger or something.
  20. Ok so does that mean that Lambda's 236D would be able to cause a FC on CH?
  21. Yeah I love the critical hearts. Are they ALL instant kills like that if you hit with them? Or was that one just a lucky shot?
  22. Wow....talk about an epic comeback. That was a damn nice finish.
  23. Thanks for the friend request.

  24. Seems like it. That move would just whiff on any other character at close range right? If it only works on that one character then it's not that big of a deal right? Just unfortunate for her but it doesn't seem unfair or anything. Kinda like how several characters have combos that can only be done on tager because of his size.
  25. That's Weiss's arcana/geist right? He did abuse the crap out of that super. I guess the bigger characters will have a tough time with that thing. But the other guy did fall for it a few too many times.
