Whenever I play you, my mission is to make sure you don't get started because if you do... it is a horrible day on my end. I have to fight ChosenNinja (The insane Yukiko player that got in top 32 @ NEC) on a weekly basis and this is what I have to do to make sure a Yukiko player in general doesn't get started because once she does... It's a bad day for sure. There's two ways to fix getting hit by overheads: 1) Get used to seeing what they look like and block them 2) Standing block and react to blocking low's instead of overheads. There's probably other ways to deal with it but these are some options you could try out.

GG's for sure! I only did Raging Lion because it worked, I'm sorry ;_; You were still winning most of the time against me LOL! Shoutouts to BlackStar for stepping it up! I've only been playing you for a few days and the progress I've seen from you is by far more than impressive. I even had to resort to playing the "Mass Destruction" theme multiple times to win but it failed me in our last game (Don't ask me why but I feel stronger when this theme song is played). Goddammit, show some respect to your team representatives... they stepped up to the plate when nobody else would. I don't care about the whole "The best players weren't playing" you could say that about GameFAQ's because IIRC, they had a player that couldn't play that was apparently GDLK. I wish I was able to participate in this, It looked fun but I got off of work way too late to be involved. In their Defense, they did push it down to the wire, last character on both teams, so if people were a little more on point, things might have been different. You can say "If LK or SKD were playing, things would have been different." but they could have lost to lag issues or being random'd out, let's not forget, this IS netplay. Last I checked, this was an open invitation tournament andiIn the end, both LK and SKD (I'm sure they both were aware of this) choose not to take part in it so why the "what if's?" Reality Check: Dustloop lost, GameFAQ's won. Nothing can be changed about that and if LK and SKD were in there, would things be different? We'll never know because it didn't happen. This shit's getting pretty repetitive and the people who didn't play or choose not to play are salty for no apparent reason, what's the point in leaving this thread open any longer?

Uhh. sorry to be "that guy" but, yes it is. Advertising on the internet is completely different than advertising IRL. I'm sure it was brought up on GameFAQ's as well so it was advertised to it's proper public target. You can't blame nobody but yourself for not knowing about this. Aren't you aware of Dustloop (Should be, you have an account here)? Aren't you aware of GameFAQ's (should be if you're a gamer, they are a well known forum)? So you missed it, that's your fault, not Dustloop's. Start visiting the forums a bit more and maybe, you won't miss out on these events. I'm sure it would have been cool to see you in this.

THANK YOU BASED #ONNIPOTENT EDIT: To answer your question, the key thing that threw me off is the way you use Thanatos, it's completely different, that along with a few other liz specific things.

I play Kobayashi a lot and I do well against him, he's one of my locals I play with offline so I'm aware of the match up. I have no idea how to deal with the things you're throwing at me because the way you use Liz's tools are different than how Koba uses them. This is one of those moments where I will openly admit I am salty over my losses, but I wanna learn from them so that's why I requested the 1v1.

I'm not implying anything, I just want to play you more. I don't wanna get bodied like that again.

Besides, would it be different if it were the case? We'll never know because it hasn't and probably won't happen. All you can do is "Ass"-ume.

I remember LK taking part in a Dustloop vs GameFaq's BB tournament, Dustloop still lost...
