With Guilty Gear as THE MAIN EVENT, an anime game at that event that has over 32+ entries makes it relevant if you ask me.

if it's like any other major, the venue should be around 20-30 bucks, and tournament will probably cost 10. Just going by last years numbers though, they may change for better or for worst. Just prepare to have 40 bucks ready if you wanna play in one tournament and money on the side for food and such.

If it makes things better, if you guys carpool it down here, you can crash at my apartment for free as long as someone provides me a ride to the venue. That's the usual deal I have when Miller and the others when they come down. If I got a ride to the venue, housing is free. It's much better than paying gawd knows how much on a hotel...

Yeah, it's been a minute, I am alive and active in my own thread but I came here to show you guys love. Shoutouts to Axis, Miller, Chrono and Del showing up to Frosty Faustings last week! You guys were awesome, and I hope you guys enjoyed your stay. I already talked to the others about this but the next big Midwest event is going to be UFGT9. Its in Chicago and will be taking place in May 24-26th 2013! The usual Capcom game will be there and Rumor has it that Persona will make the list. I know a lot of you guys don't play Persona but if there is enough interest, I can do what I can to try and run a BB side tournament. But you guys should come down that weekend to hang with the other Chicago Anime player, we need to do this to represent Anime Midwest. Also, if that's not enough incentive, at the end of every Persona Tournament, we always go out for Giordano's Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza! Ask AXIS and the others, it's worth it! Make plans to attend this because it would be hype to have you guys come down and hang with us en-mass!

I plan to bro! I've also been grinding Ken but after playing both Ken and Rose, he is sub status ATM. I want to main him but Rose feels natural to me (probably because I've played her longer). I know I'm flip-flopping here but he is going to be my main in the end. More lab time is needed before he is my main.

I'm bringing my PS3 and possibly a thumbdrive with my info on it for the 360 version. Wow, that is close, Nice! I will be there and I'll utilize the Guilty Gear FB now that I have access to it. My school schedule isn't going to wreck me so hard this semester so I'll have some time on my hands to play the game more. EDIT: I started the Player Log on the first post. Post up your info so I can throw your info on the first post. This should help out quite a bit for finding games or organizing meet ups especially for those who can't make it to all of them. That's true, nobody plays S-Lab and the fact that BananaKen plays a character that no one plays at the level he does is scary. Not only the US needs to find answers, Japan too because there's an S-Lab tearing people up over there too. The event was fun and I can't wait for next year's Frosty, it's gonna be hype. EDIT: As award to placing high in these tournaments, anyone that got top 3 in Guilty Gear or Persona has received a Tournament Award, IF they have an account on Dustloop. If not, I kinda can't give it to you since you're non-existent in the database or I have no idea what your tags are on Dustloop. So far, ElvenShadow, BananaKen, Chosenninja and A.X.I.S. has received theirs if blackSNAKE and AKA have accounts here, I would like to know that ASAP.

Always come to Chicago's Big Time Events, there is ALWAYS Arcana. As I said before; Even if you don't play games, the environment is always a good one. Chi-town plays EVERYTHING, the amount of players might not be to your liking but its better than no players. Come out to UFGT9, MI and IL anime players are all coming together for that event and I know you'll enjoy it. Also, does anyone know if Nyfe bringing Melee to GamePazzo? Welcome to the thread! A few of here (including myself) still play BlazBlue and I'm sure you could learn a few things from those of us that play. If you're interested in learning Ragna, I can show you a few basic things when we meet up so you can branch out and do your own thing (I sub Ragna, always have since CT). Shoutouts to Callisto for posting up the results! I'm happy to see Persona as the Non-Capcom game with the most entrance. LOL at the Mystery Game Tournament having 45 entrance. It was mad hype from the looks of things.

There is a good chance I might not be able to make it. Something happens on Friday and I'm not sure I'll be able to make it for this if I can go to this other event on Friday. By Thursday, I'll know if I can or can't make it iora.
