Casuals were fun, we couldn't do any recording, in fact it was probably best that we didn't. Everyone who showed up we played and chatted for quite a bit. Pizza was had and I got wings. Ignite Network Lounge was pretty hype about us building a scene for BB and liked us being there so when I told them this would be a monthly thing, they were more than happy to show their appreciation. After discussing this with the guys, I figured it would be best if we held this every last Saturday of the month so our next meet up would be March 31st. I hope this is far out enough for the rest of you guys to make plans on showing up, I'll make the reservations 2 weeks out so that we are guaranteed to have the slot.

Yeah, Ve hit me up asking if the gathering was happening this weekend and hasn't said anything about canceling so I'm taking that as a "Yeah, I'll be there". Ve is really one of those players I've been wanting to meet since CT, all the way back to having a 5 second match in ranked and my power going out after running into the guy... Well, I'm almost done packing up my set-ups and I'm headed out so if anyone wants to hit me up, I did drop my number in the Gathering Locations Group thread.

I can guarantee you, it's not going to be every Saturday, I want to try this as a Bi-Weekly but due to a lot of people's schedule, it's probably going to be a monthly thing.

@ Arc: Mission accepted, LOL! Really wish you were able to make it out here this weekend but "Real Life" happens, lol. @ Callisto: I have an account on SRK, it's just that it's been forever since I've been on it. some of the SFIV guys really look down on the airdasher side of the community and bashes the hell out of it. Not saying all of them are that way because I met the guys who play on Monday Nights at Ignite Network and they were pretty chill with us joining up with them but Monday's don't really cut it for the core of the community here due to school/work/whatever other reason there is. @ Lucien: Man I really hope a miracle can happen and you make it out here tomorrow, it would suck if you couldn't make it. I'll be headed up to I.N. tomorrow with my set-ups around 330 to start setting up and finish up the reservation for us to start at 5pm. Hope to see the guys that can make it out there tomorrow. LOL I know right! BTW, I'm almost finished with compiling the hilarious moments of BB i've had in the past 2 weeks so expect to see our moment on there, lol!

First of all, it's as you said, too many early burst. Remember, it's not CS1 Litchi we're dealing with here where it's touch of death, though her combos still hurt, lol. I understand wanting to continue having the momentum/halting the opponent's momentum which in theory sounds like a good idea, but sometimes you gotta hold out and choose better times to burst. I did see you jumping out of Litchi pressure in the corner, it's not a bad idea but he seemed to predict that was what you were going to do and it stuffed you quite a bit. In this situation, you have a few options: 1) (Safe Route: Suggested) Block until you have a chance to get out or counter Litchi. Blocking Litchi mix up can be a chore but it's your safest bet to find an escape route. If Litchi miscalls your escape route, you can pretty much do whatever to her. If you don't jump out and she throws her staff to stuff an aerial escape and you're not there, you have free reign over Litchi at that moment. 2) (Risk Route: Not Suggested) As Litchi goes into her stance, change up your approach by going directly after her (crazy, I know but this does work at times), it will make it appear as if you having two options rather than one and that you're willing to take the risk of going after her in her stance. 3C kills Litchi's stance so if you feel you're close enough to disrespect Litchi's stance w/ 3C, go for it and pick up the combo because it is a CH and 2B can pick it up. Now, don't make this your primary route since it's an offensive route and a risky one at that, but it will make the player weary that you're willing to go offensive out of the corner when Litchi goes into her stance and makes getting out of the corner/litchi pressure better. Be wary of your use of j.a, I know it's gonna be a bad habit for a LOT of us to break out of (because I even still do it) but it's not that great especially if you're jumping away, Litchi can easily punish that and get a CH making things even worse than they have to be, if you're going to use j.a, make sure it's on a forward approach and you have a good chance of hitting an airborne opponent. Also, when you do hit the opponent (which you did often), you gotta confirm that bro, it will make things much easier and keep the fight at a pace you can control. You are Barrier Guarding unnecessary things in this match-up, only barrier Litchi's primer breaking moves when you're guard primers are low (Since Barrier guarding doesn't stop primers from breaking), also barrier guard Litchi's attacks sparingly so it can give you the space you need to work/counter attack. Normal block or Instant block things that you can to gain meter because you will be using 623.d quite a bit in this match-up. Be cautious when you use counter assault, take note that once you do it, you've lost a guard primer, and that puts you in risk of being put into a guard crush position much faster than usual. Other than that, you were going about the match-up well, it's not in our favor, even in Extend so all you gotta do is be more open minded of the options you have in the match-up and use them, though they are limited. On another note: @ 2:07:56 I completely respect your decision to whiff Ice Car, into Ice Car for a guard crush, risky to all hell but I respect it. Sometimes you just gotta do shit like that. Welcome to #TeamGive0F*cks, lol.

That's what's up! The plans are still for this Saturday at 4-5pm, I have to go there tonight to make sure these guys got our reservation set because I have yet to get an e-mail back from this guy Bet. Can't wait to see you there bro! It's the first gathering, it's OK if you can't make it to the first one. I'm gonna head out tonight and see what's going on with out reservation. BTW, we're gathering at Ingite Network Lounge, sorry about not posting that earlier.

I can vouch for this, I played Haven and our connection on PSN is more stable than it is on XBL. It's playable but the difference is noticeable. Hell, I played XDext who I've never lagged with in any of the previous games and we have a 4 and we get random input drops, it made both of us sad.

GG's to everyone in Luna's room and in XDest room. Matches were hype and netcode was really wonky... I'll probably be playing more on PSN since LIVE seems a bit unstable, hopefully an update patch will fix that.

Yeah, you can continue to be an ass because I had no idea you asked a question... I'm probably not going to take a picture of the discs just to show everyone what they look like.
