  1. That's because the damage was crazy back in CT. And they had less run-away characters.
  2. In some cases it'll knock them out of the way and screw around with the timing of the follow-ups hits i.e. Renka to Zantetsu. Though now that I think about it, that combo is way too meter heavy now...Why do I get the feeling that the only worthwhile meter combo for Haku will be 6C > Shippu?
  3. Right at this point in time, I'm under the impression it may not be worth it for 360 owners to even buy Valk till the CS2 patch. Relearning the character that soon will seriously be irriating...
  4. But I thought all C attacks were getting faster.
  5. The meter is still there! Just at an Unlimited Character gain rate (not unlimited Haku obviously). But if they're killing it that bad, make 5C an overhead, and all will be forgiven. You know, just give us an overhead C attack and all will be forgiven.
  6. Aksys is hating on them stars...I see a lot of 6A > 6B spam in my future. They really want us to think about what we're doing with that meter.
  7. I hope that's the case. I have no idea what the changes mean to him, so I'm just hoping they're small enough that learning around them is possible...But that's a long list....
  8. So they already have changese for Valkenhayn? With Valkenhayn coming in so late for the 360, is there really a point to learning the character when there's already gonna be changes for him?
  9. *tut tut tut* Rachel, stick to the sidelines girl. You're just embarrassing yourself.
  10. From what I've read, it no longer has invincibility frames on start up.
  11. I just went through the full 28 pages of this stuff... I think I just died a little bit on the inside... Time to say my goodbye's to Hazama. Was learning Mu-12 anyway....
  12. Sweeeet. I'll try to get an entry in....*Goes to look up lyrics*
  13. Its an issue of timing I'm assuming. I have the same problem. I suffer from something similar with 632146C on those same combos. Doing it sooner isn't gonna help. You'll just stand there looking like an idiot. Hit up practice mode and test out the timing. What I found useful is to try and just make the whole thing into one motion, sorta like when you TK and go from 214 to 2147. Though how slow 623D is makes this a bit more difficult.
  14. Litchi as a Therapist...I died a little on the inside.
  15. I resent that statement. I can hit 4k without it...just need them in a corner. Or more stars.

  16. Dude the guy was landing high 5k or low 6k combos on two stars with that damn Haku BnB that I need to practice.

  17. Pretttty much. It was the best time for most of us. You need to communicate more man. But honestly, it was Skeletal Minion's show by far. He beat the entire team on his own. I didn't get a single match.

  18. Here's a question that has been painfully lodged in my mind. This is assuming that every characters Canon ending actually has relevance to the true ending. Feel free to correct me if I don't remember that well. At the end of Lambda 11's story, her canon ending ended with her being approached by Relius Clover (?). But somehow she appears in the True Ending to save Ragna. How did she get there? Did Relius purposely let her go to interfere with the fight?
  19. This is probably what you're wondering.
  20. :32 in the Reiko vs Zupu match confused me for a second. I was completely expecting that distortion to stop once the first hit completely whiffed. Had no clue that the attack actually CONTINUED if the first blow missed. If nothing else, you can scare the hell out of people like me who are expecting a Daifunka esque attack.
  21. From a medicore Hakumen's standpoint, this match-up is a nuisance due to the simple fact that we KNOW where you're gonna hit next, so we try to counter it with D. 5 out 10 times, the 2D is too early. Out of the remaining 5, 3 are too late. The 2 are last second. Also, try not to spam air travel with the chains. Even as a lousy Hakumen myself, I can JC Hazama's right out of it. If you're trying to get around him, you're better of 4,2Ding around. Don't know about others, but I tend to get nervous when Hazama is floating around, expecting some J2D shenanigans. Actually J2D is real scrub haku hammer. We always expect you to complete the full jump over Haku to go for J6D.
  22. If were you were pressed for an answer, what seems to be Valkenhayn's worst match-up at this time? Could his multi-hit ground distortion be used in a similar fashion to Bang's daifunka (i.e. wall bounce)?
  23. Random Question that came to mind. Say a Tager player use Spark Bolt on Hakumen, and Hakumen successfully Yukikaze's it. Could Tager use 421B (Spark Bolt charge) invincibility frames to go through the attack unscathed?
  24. Pft. That would be too much work.
  25. Edit: Fuck this post.
