Hype road trips are Hype:yaaay: I'm getting ready for hype train ride. I'm gonna grind the living shit outta my combos in the hotel room Friday since I'll be getting there at like 6pm.

Very rare thing. I haven't seen a stealing issue yet and I've been with the scene for almost a year now. Biggest worry is you may lose something due to misplacing or someone packing stuff up and grabbing it on accident. So have some way to identify your stuff. Tape with your name is easiest. This is one of the biggest perks of having custom sticks, Its a million to 1 that 2 people will have the exact same stick!

BART stations usually have very big parking lots for the case of Raider's/Giant's fans taking the trains. I am 99% sure you could get there at 9am, get on whatever next train is going to SF/Fremont, its a 3-5 minute ride to Downtown, then probably a 20 minute walk to Eudomania and be there by 10am.

Ok here is what ANYONE who is considering parking at a BART station should do, since the Downtown Berkeley station which is the one closest to Eudomania has NO parking, you can park at North Berkeley for $1. Since its a weekend that you're parking, you pay the $1, you can leave your car there until 2am Monday morning at the latest. They flex the rules to accommodate weekend travelers. So from Friday morning at 4am until 2am Monday morning. So that means you could park at the North Berkeley station and take BART from there to Downtown Berkeley, round trip is only $3.50. SO you can park there, ride to downtown and walk the 5 or 6 blocks to Eudomania and only spend about $5 TOTAL. There is only one major issue, trains don't later than like 8pm in Berkeley so that would mean that if you were to do that, you would need to either go back and drive over to downtown and park OR commit to waiting for the 4am-ish Sunday morning and then going back. That would be the cheapest way but the most commitment heavy. EDIT: WOW I read the map wrong. North Berkeley is the station after Downtown...Oops...Yeah so its relatively easy to make this whole thing work for cheap parking.

Well I'm glad no one hit me up for a ride to NCI...I kinda wrecked my car on way back to my house...So I'm most likely going to be taking the train to Berkeley and checking into my hotel from there. Still on the fence about staying one or 2 days but I'll figure that out later. As for people who may want to crash with me Friday or Saturday night, thats still an available offer. Just PM me about it. So yeah...My car is fucked up...I'm salty as shit about that...

SOOO...It has come to my attention that I will be getting a room at the Nash Hotel Friday and leaving Sunday morning which means that if people want to crash a bit closer to the event venue and are willing to possibly sleep on the floor depending on the number of people and pay a little towards the room, people are more than welcome to crash with me. The way I see it, so long as everyone who stays with me pays around half the costs total, I'll pay the other half to make the money thing more manageable. Also if the TV is gamer friendly, casuals are fine. I DO have a 360 setup and a PS2 setup so GG and BB can be played. Either one is fine with me. I'm thinking of going with the 1 bed room for 4 people which would be about $200 total for both nights so that would one person on the floor assuming there is a couch as well as 2 people who want to share a bed. I will take the couch as I'm well acquainted with them. Also if the people rooming with are from NorCal and they need rides, I can provide a lift for one or 2 people who don't have TVs. Monitors are fine so long as they aren't 50" or whatever. I am in the Santa Clara area and I'm also willing to go out of the way to get people so long as I know where to go and I get a bit of gas money. So anyone who needs it, just send me a PM. I'll book the room tomorrow or Thursday so I know just how many people are staying with me.

Huh...A tournament for 3 awesome fighters in a pizza place with a 7/11 across the street?? Sounds pretty hype:yaaay: Now if there is just a Panda near there, I'll be obligated to go! I've got a friend who plays SSF4 while I play CS and we both have a good interest in this. I do have a couple questions though, first one being: Will you need people to bring setups for this?? If so, I DO have a 360 with CS and DLC charcters/colors. I also have SSF4 if we run short of either game. No costume DLCs though. My second question is that my friend plays PS3, will you have PS3 setups available there for him to use since he only has a PS3 stick?? I would just say let him borrow mine when needed but the chances of holding up matches cause we need to pass a stick around wouldn't fair well...

I had the least problems with the damn button so whenever I played, I took the P1 side. May or may not have cost me a win but whatever, shit happens right? Afterwords, I got the hang of how to hit it to make it trigger the input so I didn't have pretty much any problems after it was over and Me and Chun were playing after.

I was doing amazing on NO sleep. I had to pull an all nighter or else I would've been a zombie. I don't need sleep to play well:kitty: Also it was kinda funny to have all of us dropping shit cause the far right button on the P1 side was dropping inputs half the time...Made my Ragna a piece a crap. Willy's Hazama was a nightmare too!

There are a LOT of Tager players in NorCal who main him and even more who just troll with him. So keep an eye out for the big daddies of magnetism. And as for the team, Its now: Dacid, Goryus, Willy and Kelvin(noej) and may as well just make it a thread wide vote. VOTE FOR ME DAMMIT! We need that Tager rep since NorCal is rich in amazing Tager players! Plus I've been the most dedicated to trying to better myself. Oh and good shit today Kelvin. I'm surprised I'm not the least bit salty about losing to Lambda but whatever. Not to mention it was kind of difficult to play with the busted button but I DID say I would play on it so I can't blame that. Chun, you've gotten you're combos down a lot more consistently now, just work on tweaking the little bits you mess up on.

Yes...Who knew he would learn the thing that banes me in this game...Blocking while in a sleeping state...Although I can't lie, Willy has gotten a lot better since I last saw him.
