  1. He was literally the number 1 ranked player in CT in terms of XP. I've played him a few times, hes ehhh....Something...I guess???
  2. Is the 7th street garage the one with the Police Station on the bottom floor and its right near the arena???
  3. Out of curiosity, would there be any point in bringing a 360 setup?? Actually, my setup probably wouldn't work, I have no HDMI cables...Thats cause I play on this tiny ass 20" TV at home(At least theres 0 lag...Stay free HD TV bitches)
  4. Fuck that, you'll be seeing my ass in the finals! I've got a grudge against this so called "best player in america" and I'm on a mission to make you my bitch son! So yeah..Scott no offense but I may need to knock you out
  5. Damn...That Dacid rage coming to life...Man people must be fucking up bad if people are making him rage. You could shank the guy and he'd just compliment on your form :3 I'm only gonna say one thing I saw back a couple pages about good FCs having EASY combos. If thats the case...Tager's 2C is by far the best for ONE reason and one reason only: Anti Air FC2C>MTW>Terra Break>2B>2C>AC>Spark>2C>AC...7k damage. Stay free DL:cool:
  6. All this complaining about lag, does NO ONE use muscle memory anymore?? There IS a reason for the training stage believe it or not, forces timing in your muscles, not your eyes you bastards /trollin' Also Rin, no need for a promotional video at all. Its a regular gathering that will have most everyone we always see, not a major event so making the video wouldn't attract anything new to the scene.
  7. I knew once it looped the same part 5 times, no one was gonna hit...Sucks ass. I think we could make the same thing happen for BB for about $50 since we're all poverty fighters anyway :3
  8. Goddamn I'm glad I don't play SC...I'd rather try and cure cancer at this rate. I never knew SC was so much like a damn business...Why can't people just go back to playing Worms and blowing the living shit out of each other?
  9. Hell yeah just have Mr. Salty run things and we'll start no later than a half hour after we're supposed to start! DAT RAGING VOICE get people to fall in line!
  10. In one of the last 2 videos, I noticed you did that and it was godlike. You had the spacing of his 2C PERFECT. Good shit. Also Axis, one thing that would've really helped, psychic Colliders. Mac was jumping out on you EVERY time, you should've stopped going for tick throws after a few times and baited his jumps more. That would've saved you a lot. So in general, if someone gets jump happy, call his ass out on it and make them really scared to move, THEN you can start the real mind games:yaaay:
  11. Just wanted to something to this critique of how to appeal to an audience. So far, everyone has been spot on, encouraging interaction of new players with high level players IRL will most definitely be a good way to spread the scene. BUT one thing people NEED to keep in mind is that not only does the level of play matter, the variety of play matters!! You can't have people hyped up over something like BB when a ranbat has 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Tagers and 1 Bang, 1 Ragna, 1 Litchi and 1 Jin. We need players to be willing in more casual play to show some of the newer players the mechanics of not just the games, but the characters themselves! The Clocktower Tourney last Saturday is a prime example. It was a good tourney but there were about 20 people who entered and literally 10 of them were Tager players! Even in casuals there were nothing but Tagers! I purposely played other characters for the sake of showing other characters. I actually had a few of the SF guys talking to me about the game and they liked the variety of characters in the game as I was showing them and they actually got more interested in it as opposed to when it started when everyone was just sitting there going "Why the fuck are there so many TAGERS?!?!?!?" So one thing we need to encourage in the casual settings are a wide variety of characters being showcased to those who are new to it so we can actually let them see how it works before they dive in. Just my 2 cents, felt like throwing it out there.
  12. The way I see it, Bang is getting out pretty good compared to Litchi and Ragna. He still has many ways to combo, but they're gonna be more CT style meaning you can't just auto pilot the same 4 hits ALL the time. I can already think of a couple things that would eliminate Wallbounce combos entirely and you still get 2-3 seals easy. Although one thing I see this effecting is Bang's 2D. Without Wallbounce, its gonna be hard as hell to combo after it non CH unless they make it like CT. But eh, one thing down, nothing wrong with that. You're not Ragna with 1000000000 things down...I got big money Bang is still gonna be really good is CSII. I'm curious about how Tager's new 6A will play into his game in CSII. I actually like the idea of him having less predictable normals in terms of actually hitting and shit. The Super Armor will be fun to torture scrubs with too. Although one thing I wouldn't mind seeing is the 4D feint Unlimited Tager has in CS. It wouldn't do much, BUT it would add a bit more to his mind games for sure.
  13. I play Tager...I'm ALL risks! Tech traps and all that shit are nothing but risks the only reason they work is cause its matter of me outsmarting the other player. As opposed to the typical 2 or 3 traps most characters can use, Tager has seemingly infinite amounts of them. If you play it safe, you will die EVERY fucking time.
  14. I'm about 90% sure they'll change that back. They already made it impossible to combo after her DP since the staff falls fasters, Dash>6C link is gone and you can't RC so its essentially Mu's DP now. She'll need to take some risks for damage now, but they shouldn't be TOO risky like now.
  15. CS2 tests are showing Ragna going to Rachel tier as it seems that Ragna can't combo from ANYTHING anymore. Bang got nerfed a bit, but he still has many things he can do to make up for that. I doubt Litchi will get screwed over that bad. from what I can tell, they're trying her a decent character with and without the staff as opposed to godlike with the staff, shit without it.
  16. Hey I know Jesse told me to call you when we got back cause you wanted to chill, but I forgot something kinda necessary to call someone...Their number! So yeah, my bad I didn't realize I should've gotten it from him before he left. But aside from that, Tourney went really well, started hella late, but everyone is used to that. Got 5th bitch! I'm movin on up son! Last match was kinda dumb though, lost the FINAL round of the final set to Ryan cause of a Timeout!! But I can't complain, his Mu is really good so it was a close match.

  17. But jobs give you the ability to go places cause of that fantastic money!! Also, good shit today. I loved scrubing out of Super and getting killed in top 8 at the last minute in CS...Go figure. At least I made top 8 in the mass of Tagers :3
  18. Sorry my phone isn't working right now...Taking the damn thing in tomorrow before I leave. But I can't take anyone anyway as I have a full car...Sorry...
  19. He lost his FRKZ loops?? Oh thank god...I mean, its still an 1000-1 matchup against Tager but at least it got nerfed. Is it just combos or did they also nerf his various gatlings on block while in FRKZ too? I don't think it needs much given the properties but getting rid of SOME of those weirdo gatlings would be nice.

  20. Dacid, I need your expert opinion on something. So I was looking through the loketest changes for Bang and saw the Double Palm lost its wallbounce. I was wondering, how are Bang's combos gonna look now?? Any ideas?? I can only think of one thing where you would kinda just cut out the Double Palm portions. So like 5A>5B>2B>6C>j.D>C Nail>5C>6D. That would kill his meter gain if that was what Bang had to go with that now wouldn't it???

  21. While this is a good combo, I have one main issue with it, it REQUIRES Spark to break 50 meter which is a hefty trade. And even then, you don't break 50 meter till you get to the last 2C. If you were to just go Spark>Gadget, you'd only get 40 heat. The reason I like mine is that you can end it before Spark and if you hit AC>BGadget, you get 51 heat with a reset which is much needed. Hell you could even go AC>Walk a bit>BSledge>4D and get around 56 heat I believe. So with mine, you have the option of optimal heat gain or max DMG with the use of Spark but it is not required which is the main reason I posted it. Spark is completely optional in my first combo while still retaining high heat gain which is fantastic!
  22. Has anyone else seen a JP Ragna player do this funky Double BE combo: xx>BE>Dash>6A>SJC>sj.D>dj.C>BE>Dash>5D>Whatever ender I cannot find the damn video I saw it in all I remember is that it was from a-cho and it was a Black/Gold Ragna.
  23. So I was messing around with Fatals to see what the best I could do in terms of best damage and heat gain and I was wondering if there was anything better than what I do: NOTE: Requires magnetism! FC2C>AC>AC Whiff>6C>j.2C>2B>ASledge>5C>6A>2C>AC>Spark>2C>AC DMG: 4311 Heat Gain: 62 While it doesn't offer much in the way of resets or tech traps, it gets you 62 heat! You can get rid of the Spark ender go BGadget if you want and it'll get you 51 heat and 4284 DMG and and if you wanna use the 50 heat you gained from doing the combo, Spark>MTW nets you 5k which is good for most combos into MTW. Terra Break isn't worth it though unless its a killing blow as it just gives you the minimum damage to make ~5800 I've also got a non magnetism combo I wanted critiques on too: Requires a Spark Bolt though... FC2C>AC>6C>Spark>j.2C>2B>ASledge>5C>6A>2C>AC DMG: 4252 Heat Gain: ~51 I like this combo in terms of difficulty as the only hard part is Spark>j.2C but the rest of it is easy and its great for midscreen as going for Walk forward>j.C Whiff>j.2C can be a pain in the ass sometimes...Only problem is no reset options but you break 50 heat which is nice. The reset variant would to just go ASledge>5C>AC>BGadget which only gets you 48 heat... So I dunno, just wondering how these stack up against what can be done. I've tried a ton of different things and I've found these to be the most optimized combos I could do. EDIT: Found a slight variant of the first combo that gives you 67 heat, but no chance for BGadget with or without the Spark ender...Just add a 2nd 2C after the very first one. Makes the DMG ~4400:keke: EDIT2: Forgot the properties of Spark will actually allow you to do GF after if you time it so they fall into it so you CAN actually end the first combo in a reset which is nice. First combo into Spark>Gadget nets 4282 DMG and 51 heat. So its a preference of reset or heat gain.
