Yeah thats obvious cause its very rare to see a grappler in a fighting game that has the ability to get in on zoning characters effectively so thats a given. Patience is out biggest tool to deal with that or else we'll just to learn a different character to deal with Zoners :3
-
We can all agree hes better in one aspect, his 5A is a pain to get hit by now cause with Magnetism, Tager can get 60+ meter in the combo and still get GF oki :3 I'm excited purely for the sake of having a 5A that DOES something now :3

Thursday is gonna be a good day to go as there is a bi-weekly Marvel/AE tournament planned for that evening so there will be a good number of people there. Just be sure to talk to Myung(Asian dude with a dress shirt that says "Gamecenter" on the back) when you get there and he'll get you acquainted with everything :3 There will be a few BB players there for the Marvel tourney(me included) so hopefully you'll have a chance to get some games in and hang out.

Yeah this combo was pretty silly to watch but the irony is that this was actually a really good combo the Tager player did because the way he did it allowed him to easily trade places and put the opponent in the corner without having to use another Collider. The back-D(4D) whiff allowed the down forward-C(3C) to be spaced in a way that the Collider Whiff would pull Jin over his head so the People's Elbow(Jump 2C) would hit behind Tager allowing him to hit the Standing B(5B) to Back-D(4D) and get a better oki situation. As for the Down-D(2D) beating Jin's Ice Sword, Tager managed to hit Jin just before the Sword had become active to hit anything so it broke the ice upon Jin getting hit. Chargeable BSledge may have some random uses in certain matchups but other than that it isn't anything special. If you need help doing combo notation with the numbers and stuff, Read This. Its a detailed and really helpful guide for learning how to read the combo notation we use.

Either of those changes would just be stupid by design, it would just turn into start the charge and churn butter, did anything happen near you? CCCCCCCCC and hope the 720 lands. Yeah there are ways around it, but it would just turn into another gimmick that sucks like most of his of current stuff. The original intent of the 720 cancel was to create stronger tick grab setups off of 5A/2A pressure(And now 5B). Not to mention that there is no point for it to have a larger cancel window. You can only use it off of 5A and 2A and 5B which means that these moves are the quickest and hardest to do effective 720 ticks off of. This is a tool added to give Tager another option in pressure for his faster moves. Note that tick grabs are FAST, so giving Tager a larger window for the cancel would only cripple its effectiveness. Its a lot harder to react to 5A>VTCxx720 than 2B tick to 720. Thats ALL its there for, a minor addition to create better grappler mixup. Changing that to yet another gimmick that Tager sucks at using is just bad. I'm fine with the window for the cancel being something like 1-15 Frames, but anything more than that is completely unnecessary.

Albeit an irrelevant point, you can actually get ID to snag the Guard Point on Voltic Charge. The Guard Point starts on frame 6 and the cancel to 720 needs to be done by frame 11. So you have to time the Voltic Charge to start within 1-5 Frames of the ID in order to get the Guard Point to work AND Cancel to 720. If you're doing off of GF oki, you're probably doing the Voltic Charge way too soon for the ID to ever try to meet the Guard point. But in theory, it is possible to VTC>720 through DPs even in CS2 if the conditions are right. But in regards to the actual point of that, there are 2 things they could have done with Voltic Charge to allow this. 1- They increased the window for you to cancel to 720 outright so instead of 1-11, its probably 1-15 now. I'm hoping that they didn't just make it cancel into 720 at any time cause that would just be a stupid change. 2- They gave it the same properties as its Hammer Cancel now but also able to do it with 720 meaning that if the Guard Point eats a hit, you gain the option to cancel immediately into 720. I also hope this is a real change cause that would be just as stupid:v: If all the did was make the window for it from something like 1-11 to 1-15, then whatever.

Good work Leo, That is really gonna be helpful and I'll put it up on the first page here later tonight If you wanted to do a modified version that would apply to Extend, that would be a great addition to the front page of the Extend Combo thread I'm gonna make in the next week :3

For now go ahead and discuss things here, I'll make an Extend Technical thread soon that we can use after I have more info to put in it. But yes, Valk looks exactly the same aside from his 236A change. I certainly like it as it gives us a lot more leniency spacing wise for picking up combos out of the corner while eliminating some of the opportunities for damage he had midscreen. I'm just waiting to see people start trading with [W]5B and see that it picks up into Rozen and rage out :3

Ok got our first matches for Extend! Get hype :3 :3 :3 Hima(Valk) vs Inuwo(Jin) Hima(Valk) vs Oracle(Hazama) Mato(Valk) vs Alpha niiru pinku shoku no neko(Taokaka) Muneo Doujou Monkasei(Valk) vs Panpi-Gou(Ragna) Hima(Valk) vs Mokkorin(Ragna) Only a day and a lot of Valk is already showing up in videos :3

Here's Valk's current list of changes. Credits to Nokita for getting this for us. Finally some extend info. * [Wolf A>B> air dash JB>J3C>JA>5D] >2C>6C works.Apparently no change in damage. * 3C>Jaeger>2C>6C>2C>6B>2C>mondlicht>1D>2 beast cannons does 3,7k * 6C starter can go into 4 beast cannon stuff for about 4,8k * mid screen 3C>jaeger>Sturm wolf connects. * No change to wolf break stuff. * 3C> schwarz doesn't work on a grounded hit. * 3C on air hit might give you enough time to cancel into rosen or schwarz. (3C>jaeger>3C works so far) * Schwarze jagd>Weiss jagd>5D<2C>......<4 beast cannons<Sturmwolf does 5.3 k * JC: less landing recovery. * 2B: less recovery. * Wolf B:less head attribute invincibility.works well enough as an AA.(day 1 impression) * Wolf JB: less untech time.[JB>JB>5B] is difficult to pick up,if done high in the air. * Jaeger: Untech time is "scary" and long. Also has worse proration. * 6B>2A (opponent barriers this)> 2C (is out of range) * mid screen throw>nachtrosen doesn't work anymore? character specific it seems You can do throw>jaeger(miss)>5C if you are close enough to the corner. * 6A: A buff?faster guard point? EDIT: *Eisen wolf: bad on block. You are at a disadvantage, even if you force them to block it in the air. (around jump height) can only be followed up with 5A, even on CH.(maybe 3C>C~A. see below) the landing recovery can be canceled with rasen? (needs more testing) *Cmd grab (ground): 1K. Cmd grab (air): 1,5k. *Sturm wolf>koenig works like cs2 *3C>jaeger can be looped up to 3 times in the corner.Insignificant due to repeat move proration. *Rasen:increased gauge drain on 7C/4C. Its nothing serious once you get used to it.(cs2: 7C/4C x 5---->cse: 7C/4C x 4) *W 5B: on a trade you can follow up with nachtrosen. It seems possible to squeeze in a 2C/6C depending on the circumstances. Damage changes: 5A: 200->300 2A: 150->300 jA: 180->300 throw 1500->1000 Proration changes: 3C: P1 90%->75% Weiss jagd: P2 50%->60%? (maybe more) Eisen: P2 92%->89% Nacht jaeger: P2 89%->80% Nacht jaeger repeat proration: 30% *6C>2C>6B>2C>mond licht>[4 beast cannons>7C]>D>JC>5B>2C>JB>JB>JC dmg: about 5.1k The human JC after the 7C is a replacement for JB>JB>5B. You can replace the human 5B with 2A for less damage and easier execution.

[CSE-CP] Tsubaki Yayoi Simple Questions and Answers thread! Version 3!
OrionXElite replied to Ginseng's topic in Archive
Would anyone be so kind as to explain a good use for her Mugen Install?? I'm kinda messing around with it and I'm having a hard time finding any worthwhile uses out of it outside of big punishes like FC6C>Mugen>Fuck em up>Laugh in their teary eyed face :3 But I dunno how useful it is outside of hard punishes like 6C since I know from what I've been messing around with, you can get like 4.3k-5k depending on whether its a Fatal or not and given the Meter you gain back, its a pretty good trade for just 1 Charge but I can't think of anything useful outside of that really:v: I only ask cause I'm one of those people that loves custom combo mechanics in characters cause of the freedom you get with it so even if it isn't used that much, I love to try and incorporate it whenever I can for hype :3 -
[CSE] Relius Clover General Discussion "Family Man Extraordinaire"
OrionXElite replied to Solex's topic in Archive
How is Hazama's not the best? He doesn't even give a fuck that Relius is about to make him play "find the snake." I just wish he had an ice cream cone or something to convey the utter amount of fucks Hazama doesn't give :3 -
Ok so I want a group opinion on this idea I have. So with Extend being out now and us not being too far behind in getting it, should I go ahead and just move all the CS2 matchup threads to the archives and make new Extend threads or should I just keep them and Extend threads and then move the CS2 threads to the archives when Extend is actually available to us? Also just a forewarning, stuff might be getting moved around and deleted as I'm clearing things and getting things tidy for new Extend info to come in. Biggest Priority for me now is getting the Extend video thread ready to get stuff in there efficiently and to make a new General Discussion with more relevant and useful info on the First Post and to just people a random place to chatter. A new Technical/Combo thread for us to add any new combos and tricks that appear. It'll take me a little bit to get the General Discussion and Combo Thread set up so its not gonna be a complete overhaul but just a heads up, shits gonna be moving around slowly :3

[CS1-CSE] Tsubaki Self-Improvement and Critique Thread
OrionXElite replied to NickExtreme1's topic in Archive
Yeah I'm trying to get out of the habit of doing random air Charging cause it keeps getting me hit:v: I tried using it for shenanigans by baiting someone to try and hit me then do j.214D and headbutt them :3 I'll dick around with random different combo enders since I'll actually have some time tomorrow hopefully to do that. I just need some time in training mode to tune my hands to do shit right instead of derping all over the place:v: Also I am gonna try and do more 22X things. I keep forgetting its safe(especially 22C since its fucking +1, DEFINITELY need more of that) If I could just get used to her damn gatlings and knowing what specials to throw around where, I think I'd be fine but shes confusing:v: OK I know what I can start with at least, thanks peoples :3 Any other advice is still appreciated of course :3 -
OK so I have finished updating all the videos that have been uploaded in the past month. There are literally new matches in ALL the sections except for the Valk Mirror section cause no one likes Valk mirrors :3 So look around and see what you discover, there are quite a few good groups of uploads that were added so have fun :D

[CS1-CSE] Tsubaki Self-Improvement and Critique Thread
OrionXElite replied to NickExtreme1's topic in Archive
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZwCgeYYjK8&feature=feedu Ok so thanks for all the help first time guys(Especially Kiba, my Valkenbro :3 ) But I've got another one where I kinda scrubbed out against Jin:v: I won the first game, but then I lose the next 2. I switch to Tager the last game so you don't need to watch that but I'm wondering if theres any other advice I could get from anyone? ANYONE is free to help(Hajin, you've very much competent enough to lend out advice so feel free to try, I won't get mad if its confusing :3 ) I hit more combos this time and I felt I doing a few more shenanigans but overall I just had no idea what to do against Jin in some cases. Also I had one question in particular, In this match and bunch of casuals after, I would hit a combo into 22C in the corner but have no Charge, what should I do combowise after? Should I just do 6C>236B>214B>22C?? -
Its always been Hammer, Whoever translated it originally said Hammer but everyone just started saying Sledge:v:

Gonna make this thread now so once we get any videos of Valk play, you guys can post it in the appropriate thread :3 I will organize them as them come in and hopefully we'll have a nice solid flow of videos coming in soon. I will update this once I have time, I'm just getting this here now so we can at least start organizing things. It'll be in the same format as the other thread, just a lot less videos at first :3 I did alphabetical arrangement based on first name cause it always bothered me that it went Ragna-Iron Tager-Tao ARAKUNE *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Minami(Arakune) vs NAAO(Valk) Fumo(Arakune) vs Masashi(Valk) BANG SHISHIGAMI *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Morning Musume(Bang) vs Shou(Valk) ???(Bang) vs ???(Valk) Hima(Valk) vs Judo^(Bang) Kiryuu(Bang) vs Hina(Valk) Natsuona(Bang) vs Nao(Valk) Ana(Bang) vs NAAO(Valk) CARL CLOVER *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Taoru(Carl) vs Jamuwo(Valk) HAKUMEN *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Kagetsu(Hakumen) vs Aria(Valk) ???(Valk) vs ???(Hakumen) ???(Valk) vs ???(Hakumen) Hima(Valk) vs Gozaru(Hakumen) HAZAMA *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Hima(Valk) vs Oracle(Hazama) "R-1" Buppa(Hazama) vs Hinmeru(Valk) Minami(Hazama) vs Tochigin(Valk) Ora(Hazama) vs Hima(Valk) ???(Hazama) vs ???(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Kagetsu(Hazama) Hayate(Hazama) vs Tochigin(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Miya(Hazama) IRON TAGER *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Akizuki/Kamisama(Tager) vs Hinmeru(Valk) Shisshou(Tager) vs Masashi(Valk) Doitsu sei hanauta roido(Tager) vs Tochigin(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Akizuki/Kamisama(Tager) JIN KISARAGI *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Hima(Valk) vs Inuwo(Jin) Tetsuwo(Jin) vs NAAO(Valk) Miya(Jin) vs Jamuwo(Valk) YENGE(Jin) vs Tochigin(Valk) Hima(Valk) vs Tetsuwo(Jin) LAMBDA-11 *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Nao san itoshi teru(Lambda-11) vs Masashi(Valk) Y.Y(Lambda-11) vs Hinmeru(Valk) Y.Y(Lambda-11) vs ???(Valk) Minami(Lambda-11) vs Tochigin(Valk) Maman(Lambda-11) vs NAAO(Valk) LITCHI FAYE-LING *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Poppo(Litchi) vs Tochigin(Valk) Kimura(Litchi) vs Tochigin(Valk) Kaichi(Valk) vs Youjou(Litchi) Hane(Litchi) vs Hima(Valk) MAKOTO NANAYA *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Jamuwo(Valk) vs Kurosawa(Makoto) MU-12 :( :( NOEL VERMILLION *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Kazuma(Noel) vs Hinmeru(Valk) ???(Valk) vs Gucci(Noel) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Gucci(Noel) R-1(Noel) vs Hima(Valk) PLATINUM THE TRINITY *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Aru-ya(Platinum) vs ???(Valk) Sunacchi(Valk) vs Motegi(Platinum) Yamachi(Platinum) vs Hima(Valk) Surippa(Platinum) vs Tochigin(Valk) ???(Valk) vs ???(Platinum) ???(Valk) vs ???(Platinum) ???(Platinum) vs ???(Valk) Kaichi(Valk) vs Aruya(Platinum) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Aruya(Platinum) Jisosya^e(Platinum) vs Nao(Valk) RACHEL ALUCARD *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Kinoko(Rachel) vs Jamuwo(Valk) Jimumeka(Rachel) vs Hima(Valk) Nyomu(Rachel) vs Hina(Valk) Nao(Valk) vs Souhei(Rachel) Souhei(Rachel) vs Nao(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Kinoko(Rachel) RAGNA THE BLOODEDGE *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Muneo Doujou Monkasei(Valk) vs Panpi-Gou(Ragna) Hima(Valk) vs Mokkorin(Ragna) Minami(Ragna) vs Tochigin(Valk) ???(Valk) vs Yutta(Ragna) Naru(Ragna) vs Jamuwo(Valk) Kaqn(Ragna) vs Masashi(Valk) Haitejuna Waribashi(Ragna) vs Hima(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Yutta(Ragna) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Naru(Ragna) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Meshidoki(Ragna) Kaichi(Valk) vs Yutta(Ragna) Rori Otto(Ragna) vs Hina(Valk) Fouru(Ragna) vs Nao(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Yutta(Ragna) RELIUS CLOVER *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Shadow(Relius) vs Masashi(Valk) TORI(Relius) vs Hima(Valk) Q(Relius) vs Nao(Valk) TAOKAKA *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Mato(Valk) vsAlpha niiru pinku shoku no neko(Taokaka) Ashu(Taokaka) vs Uoruta^.C.dorune^zu(Valk) Jamuwo(Valk) vs Mi-Kun(Taokaka) Satsuno(Taokaka) vs Tochigin(Valk) Mi-Kun(Taokaka) vs Nemo(Valk) Shi^za(Valk) vs ESP(Taokaka) Emisutei(Taokaka) vs Hina(Valk) Mi-Kun(Taokaka) vs Hina(Valk) TSUBAKI YAYOI *Updated 11/6(Matches)* Kuresu(Tsubaki) vs Hima(Valk) VALKENHAYN R.
