  1. I actually can't imagine it canceling out Jin's wave super because isn't it multi-hit? Unless if the guy meant he got it to clash, Agito can probably smash Spark Bolt too, either that or Jin's wave super's projectile level decreased. I was like that at the beginning and was annoyed they made him "easier", I realized after a while playing CSE that his new gameplay actually completely fits my style of play, so I got over it after looking into his new offensive options and their capabilities. It is better to be able to cut the projectiles or to catch it to gain a meter but I guess it's nice to know we can possibly smash Nu's projectiles or other projectiles when we're spamming Agito.
  2. On an extra note, we all know Agito has projectile properties but it also seems to be a pure projectile since according to the jbbs since the move doesn't lock Hakumen against Yukikaze and it also apparently cancels out with Jin's wave super.
  3. I'm not sure if Rachel missed the barrier guard since she was doing it on and off but that can be possible considering if she blocked the Agito with a barrier guard, she could be pushed into the corner; while if she didn't barrier guard, she might have just barely missed sticking to the corner and Agito+wind's forward momentum pushed Haku faster into the corner for the cross up.
  4. Ha, I never saw it that way, just Hakumen/Pakumen with dinky arms on the side.
  5. The Player's guilds ranking changed quite a bit and it seems Komusou changed his name back to his old name from Takanashi Rikka, glad this guy was still playing Haku this game. It also looks PRF ARMY is back too, I guess he was just dicking around with Azrael in the beginning. I said I'd do a biweekly update but I guess it would be better to be up to date with the names at least in case we get hold of some of these top players on video. Regarding ┌┤ ◇ ├┐<Merikuri's info, he set his info to private but I was able to figure out his dan through the dan ranking and the overall win % by calculating it from the overall win rate rankings which seems to round up. 6. iirc, they're separate moves so our Kishuu>Enma has the upper body invul. with an okay P2 and does regular CH while our Drive>Enma has no invul. with a decent P2 and does fatal on CH.
  7. If you are pressing the A button after a successful catch with your drive, instead of doing your usual follow up attack after your drive you do the Enma follow up which has better prorations and it fatals on CH. It sadly has no invincibility like your drive follow up attacks or upper body invul. like the regular Enma, and it doesn't have much range to it as well compared to the usual Enma since you don't Kishuu to move forward.

  9. I'm not sure though you may be on to something since I kept having this feel where I remembered the name Kara_D from something before BBCS1 except I couldn't put my finger on where I saw that name before. Also, thanks.

I've been following this guy since CS1 when he uploaded his online and arcade matches and am glad he's uploading his CP arcade matches too seeing how well he's doing going up the ranks. I'll help organizing it on the list if Blade can get it on Youtube.
  11. So I guess this means we can only catch projectiles physically attached to the characters (Hazama's chains/moves, maybe Noel's moves, Nu's 5C?) and not Nirvana and the mom.
  12. Oh yeah, the jbbs brought it up once before and I think during loketest too when people were saying they were able to follow it up with a 5A on characters like Tager. I think it's supposed to net you more meter though there's no confirmation on this matter since people seem to like sticking to 2C for their combo parts. I think it works because they're more at a higher elevation so your 5A hits them instead of whiffing them because the opponent goes too low.
  13. Whoa, fast. Also, I ran it through to see what the combo could be, might be something like: Step Tsubaki>Hotaru>IAD OD>falling jC>6C (level 2)>Shippu (level 2)>Kishuu 5C>2C>jc j2A>djc jC>Shippu>Kishuu 5C>5C>Shippu>Kishuu 6C
  14. Will do. Also, something I saw on the way, probably the most optimal Tsubaki 8 mags OD combo. That 10k. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm19593962
  15. Never really realized it because I barely come here since I watch most of the stuff once it gets up on nico for the most part, will try to help you guys keep this place more organized in the future. Okay, I was thinking the same too though I've been looking at the ranking time to time this past week and it seems to change around quite often (like Chin dropping ranking wise). I can do a biweekly update of the ranking and lets see how it goes, though I'm sure in the future we'll see the ranking become more static. Yeah, I know most of the top players don't change their colors much but I was just pointing out something I noticed watching some of the CP videos here. Also, it seems Isuna kind of got the players between #3-#5 jumbled up so I cleaned it up a bit. I recently found out the player Matsunaga Sara is actually natakishi and added Mido since he's pretty high up in the ranking and we seem to have videos of him so updating that as well. Since there seems to be players who are using parenthesis's in their name, I put the old names in brackets. 16. Just a small thing about the listing, Teru should be Hikaru (Takosu's) Hakumen seeing how they use the same name and the same color. 輝 is indeed read as "teru" normally but Hikaru meant it to be read as Hikaru so I wouldn't be surprised if people gets this mixed up during translation. Also, I can volunteer to do the player's guild ranking listing translations if we're actually putting it up in the video thread and if people are okay with it. Just some things I want to talk over if we're really doing it. -It's pretty easy to copy and paste over and translate the stats so far so I can probably do a weekly update for the ranking. I'm wondering if doing if it would be better if we update the list weekly, biweekly or monthly. Weekly can show the most growth through the ranking while we can maybe change it up to biweekly or monthly once the ranking settle downs more in the future, though I suppose either way it is better if we can keep the list up to date as possible. -As of the generic list I made before, we have the top 10 ranking and some notable players listed. Should we keep it a top 10 or should we change it to something short like a top 5/longer like a top 20 or just not do this top rated listing at all? Also, I looked through some of the videos to add to the notable players list and it seems some of the Hakus aren't listed until way deep down in the ranking. Should I add a ranking filter (like players listed in the video listing in the top 50/100) or should I just try to list all the players that are listed in the video thread? I think it wouldn't be that good if we cluttered up one part of the thread, especially if some of these player just tried Hakumen for week one and decided to main another character in the future. We can also, just change it the notable players list into players in the video listing so we can just add everyone as well though I guess that would make another kind of mess as well. -Also, the Azrael thread's listing seems to have the most used color listed as well, I'm not too keen on adding this because we don't know much about some of the top player's most used colors and some of the Hakus who are listed seems to like to cycle through colors. Players like Chibaken, Chan, Hikaru and Gackt who use a set color I can definitely agree adding to the list, should we add the colors to the list or not? Again, I'm fine with doing this if you guys are up to it or am fine with the idea as well, would like some feedback on this so we can get over this fast. I think it's a nice list to have for those who aren't familiar with the foreign language the player's guild is in, it's also nice to look at and is probably easier to keep track of notable players compared to the player's guild if we organize it very well.
  17. Oh god 6C>Shippu looks so good, that 2 hit 4.5k half screen combo.
  18. As in use our drives during OD? I don't see why not. Also, I just calculated 5D>Zantetsu(1)>level 2 Shippu and it does like 5203 damage though this would specifically be OD only with the special cancel.
  19. Man, as much as 5D being charge-able to beat other charge moves and long start up moves, I really wish our old 6D was back. I am wondering if 2D's attack follow-up's range is shorter than his 6D's since apparently Tager can freely spam 5D on us during his block strings now. Also, the jbbs figured out that the CP drives are indeed super cancel-able, and we can now do stuff like 5D>Mugen>combo without the need of being in our OD, though a string of 5D>Mugen>Renka(1)>Zantetsu(1)>step Tsubaki>Hotaru>IAD jB>5C>Guren>5C>level2 Shippu apparently only does about 4900ish while something simple like 5D>level 2 Shippu does 4080.
  20. It never occurred to me that I had to take the stick back to neutral for the break, I guess 5C>C worked for me just because it was already in the neutral position. Thanks to both of you for clearing this up for me.
  21. Yeah, I did try 236A RC>5C>C>j.A when RC>j.A didn't work but was wondering if I was doing it wrong since the video didn't list the 5C>C between the RC and j.A. Actually on a second look, maybe I got stuff mixed up from the tutorial video for the 3C>C part, thanks for clearing up my confusion. Or not, the 3C>C in question is this part of the video. The input listing comes after the actual part.
  22. Recently started picking up Valkenhayn since CS1 and I'm actually having a lot of fun learning this guy. I have some questions that I couldn't really make out of Valk CSE guide and am hoping I can get answers for them here. - What is the difference between doing [w]5C>C>j.A>5C>C>j.A and [w]5C>C>j.A>3C>C>j.A? I can never get that second [w]j.A if I do the 3C>C cancel since Valk just flies down to fast for the cancel into j.A to come out, but can get it consistently doing 5C>C, I read that it is easier to do it with 5C>C as well but I am really curious why the CS2 tutorial video uses that as the basic input for his instant overhead wolf mix up. - In the tutorial video, there is a part where you can do [w]236A blocked>RC>[w]j.A or 5A. I can't seem to get the [w]j.A after the rapid so does this still work in CSE or do I have to input the j.A faster than I am trying for the instant overhead to come out?
  23. True and I probably am wrong assuming that it still uses the CSE data, but it would still be even at +5 which would make it exactly a frame 1 catch for Hakumen's 5D.
  24. It still looks same to me. Also, the part where he 5D'd between 2D > 5C might make it look faster, but it's probably because he caught the 5C at the very first frame of his 5D; considering Jin was just at +1 and tried to use a 10f start up move, probably expecting Hakumen to do 2D rather than 5D.
  25. Oh man, now I definitely want to play Haku mirrors and cannot wait for CP after watching that video. And yeah, Agito probably does have a projectile attribute since you can make voids out of it. Some neat stuff that was in the jbbs that the video can show examples of: -Yukikaze is either a bit faster or it is still the same speed, it's just that the hitstop when catching the projectile that is shortened so it looks like Hakumen attacks faster when he catches projectiles with his Yukikaze now. -His OD's increased meter build still goes on during time freeze animations while his OD bar freezes, meaning you make a lot of meter during long time freeze animations. As seen in the video, the Haku who did their OD first had a slight amount more meter gained by the time both player's OD finished. There was a post in the jbbs that said that they OD'd vs. a CPU Bang and the second they finished Hakumen's OD, the CPU did their OD too (FRKZ). Because of the long time freeze, he made 8 mags with his OD bar in tact by the time the time freeze lifted. One note from the jbbs that was pretty interesting but wasn't shown in the video was that Shippu seems to have different level of damage now, and depending on how much untechable time/hit stun the opponent has, charging it for a few frames helps boost its damage like the 6C corner combos, considering the 2nd level of charge is apparently pretty short. As an example, something like 5C > Shippu level 1 would do 4154 damage, while a 5C > Shippu level 2 would do 4706 damage. Also, I was making a janky damage calculator on excel to test out and update some of the damage and prorations of Hakumen's CP data. With some information courtesy of the jbbs. It would be great if other people have anything else to contribute to this list. I have a (?) on stuff that I'm not sure.
