Pretty much considering Zan(1) airbornes the opponent now too. I guess we can still use it for Zan(1) whiff > Zan(2) hit gimmicks but I suppose they left it in there so Hakumen won't just get free 4k+ combos with just 3 stars. I like that we can actually use it as a combo part now and not just a surprise overhead.
-
Zantetsu does get prorated. It just doesn't get affected by Hakumen's 60% combo rate during damage calculation along with his Crush Trigger, Tsubaki and Shippu, though it loses it during Mugen while the others minus CT doesn't. Also, I don't think there are any reasons to make a combo thread yet when a good majority of us don't even have our hands on the game.
-
Man, I was wondering how the Hotaru > ad OD > falling j2C/jB combos were going to look. That is the funniest Hakumen combo I have ever seen.
-
The t-shirt with the print is pretty much a meme on its own.
-
I thought shinyoko was just short for the Shin Yokohama district, the place Arcsys's office is located in.

Agito looks good but its not stupid good. And the D follow up Enma is indeed a fatal counter and people have been saying they could confirm into 4k+, though I'm still confused if you can follow it up from only a 5D, a select drives or all drives. Also, haven't seen it yet but apparently Hotaru lost its FC?
-
Actually, do you mean that we have enough time to punish with a 5C after Enma's recovery or that we can go through bursts with Enma and punish a burst with 5C? If it's the former, then yeah, it only works in CP since bursts have a much longer recovery time compared to CSE. If it's the latter, it's possible to do it in CSE but hard as hell to actually anticipate the burst and time the Kishuu properly.
-
Not really considering we could do that since CSE ( ゜3゜) It's not broken or anything but pretty sure people will learn to respect the Agito pressure as time goes. I think in another video where Hikaru(Takosu) was abusing Agito, the Azrael he was playing against learned and just baited the Agito then proceeded to AA the jB.
-
The P2 is probably for the actual damage portion of the move. iirc, 6D looked like it can be followed up compared to 5D and 2D, but I don't think anyone have successfully landed it since its start up nerf. iirc, Enma or Guren connected after a 6C CH though I'm not sure if it still does at maximum range or not. 6C CH>Guren>Zantetsu(1)>CT>whatever might be possible and probably hurts a lot too.
-
Nah, I just meant if we can combo 5B for more than 3.2k with at most 4 stars.
-
Agito is definitely a much more reliable anti-AA from the looks of it so far. I really like how it helps make Hakumen's offensive gameplay more solid than before. Yeah, I forgot completely that bursts also got a lot more recovery time this game. I really liked how it looked like 5B could punish the burst though. That means if we have the meter, that's a free 3.2k punish with Shippu :D. Unless if we can net more from a punish of course.
-
Also, Agito during Mugen causes floor bounce so maybe an Agito Mugen corner loop in the near future? Did the Haku just go through the burst with Hotaru trying to do Tsubaki>Hotaru? I wonder if we can punish after the Hotaru, considering the recovery for the move is much longer this game.
-
I don't know if its just that Kishuu became faster so it's affecting the projectile invul or if Nu's 5D got slower but at like 11s later, it looked like Haku easily went through her 5D though it was at a closer range.
-
^Only reason was because Thanatos has these red lines behind his head so I thought that was the hair color, the white mask was another thing that made think of it too. I kind of think the idea is over the line too since Haku's scabbard is red and Thanatos's is black :/
-
Would Thanatos be too much of a stretch for the Haku Persona color? http://blog-imgs-26.fc2.com/t/a/n/tanntou/p4dvfhmjf.jpg

Probably not, I just meant it for something like vs. Hazama where they try to 3C you if they see you spamming Kishuu to go through the chains. Like a 50/50 option between killing lows or going through projectiles/high moves when closing in on the opponent. CH 3C does have a lot more untechable time now. From what I know, any 6B CH combos can work with a 3C CH starter as well. Also, I was writing out possible 8 mags 6B CH/3C CH combos and a string of starter>5C>Zantetsu(1)>CT>2C>jB>j2A>jc j2C>Tsubaki does 6.1-6.4k anywhere on the map.

Cross up, anti-anti-air, pressure tool, combo ender and maybe for some movement? I've heard it can be used for cross ups but haven't seen any done yet, I've seen a Haku whiff Hazama's DP kick by timing Agito properly though I forgot if he got to punish Haz with a falling jump move, there are a lot of videos where you see Hakus just spamming IAD Agito then going into jB, j2C to keep pressure and I'm just curious if using step Agito can substitute as an anti-low Kishuu.
-
^Probably because Kishuu made Haku close as possible, either that or we can still 2A tick throw, but have to be really close like in that video. Also, maybe its at that range and corner only so the opponent won't get pushed back. We'll probably find more setups later once we get to play it or the JP players does it on video.
-
Yeah, it doesn't. The new part is jB>j2A. j2A just floats them in place now and because Haku falls faster now, he can follow it up with a ground move though I'm not entirely sure if you could get 5C/2C in there, maybe it was something like 5A or 5B and I just have my hopes up.
-
Hop Agito's range is funny to me. Also, there are Renka combos right now that does a decent amount of corner carry like CSE but I think it'll still be unused that much since Haku can now pretty much get damage anywhere. I think it went something like Starter>Renka>IAD jB>j2A>5C/2C>Guren>IAD jB>j2A>5C. Not really sure how it went but saw it in couple of the Haku vids and it being mentioned in the jbbs, the one with a good starter where you could go into Guren looked like it carried at least 2/3rds the screen. Agito looks pretty good so far. Not really good but isn't really that bad as well. I haven't seen much cross up Agitos yet but I heard it's pretty hard to react to, even though it force techs, at least we can follow it up with jB if the opponent refuses to tech instantly.
-
Eh, I was going to post that too until Spark ninja'd me in the video thread. Also: But I'm not sure if sj jB works too. And I just realized Zantetsu's 1st hit puts the opponent airborne.
-
^iirc, its a delayed 2C. Speaking of short OD, I think Mugen was supposed to last 5 seconds now normally without OD so I really think they want us to use the two in a pair.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets ranked high again, especially since his OD really looks like one of the best ODs in the game; considering he can play with it anyway he wants it compared to the other character's ODs where they have to usually forward it to offense. His mag gain really does a great job keeping up with the game speed and his -nerfed- damage, its kind of lame what happened to his drives yeah but I guess it is still usable and good enough to be a threat. I guess at the end, CP Hakumen looks a lot like Arksys trying to take Haku back to his CT roots where more mags = more damage rather than sticking with the CS1/E 1 mag = 1k system. Also, combo-able CH 3C and 6B in the new basic combo video looks really good, seeing Zantetsu becoming relevant again is fun too.
-
The first video is Kiara Platinum and the second one looks like it's linked wrong.
-
By the way, according to the commentary, Hikaru Hakumen is apparently Takosu who changed his name for CP.
