  1. Possibly though I think you don't have enough time to follow it up after Mugen. Then again, Mugen is looking pretty useless now aside from OD Shippu fun.
  2. Yeah, I notice a lot of double heart cars in their combos. And I really can't wait to see her new super item combos.
  3. Oh, I think it's just super cancel-able then like his 6C.
  4. Is it? Haven't seen it happen anywhere yet. I know it's supposed to be during OD though I haven't seen anyone land his drive outside of Yukikaze during OD.
  5. I haven't been keeping up with Platinum recently since she looked pretty fine but how has her damage transitioned or balanced out from CSE to CP? 3.2k to 4k sounds like a nerf but didn't most of the cast get a damage nerf this time too? Even Hakumen gets like 2.4k max from something he could get 4k easy out of the last game.
  6. Just checked out the original video on nico. I think it's interesting to note that the OP for the video noted the 6C FC in the video uses max charge for the forced fatal, but it is also confirmed from any other FC 6C hit confirmed at that range. I wonder if we can get into the same setup after a DP bait.
  7. It was very much confirmed if you take the jbbs's word for it. If you try to drive Enma a multi hit move, you apparently get hit by the second or following move.
  8. I actually wished Haku got an air Kishuu or an aerial movement special. Agito is still really cool though. Also, 3C CH>Shippu is hilarious if any of you guys tried it out before as a burst safe combo. ^Yeah, I threw out the 2B for the position switching, the optimal combo is straight into Renka.
  9. Glad to hear. Also, 3C CH does a lot wonders as I learned in CS2. The link is tighter but if you don't want to switch sides, 3C CH>Renka(1)>Kishuu>combo is the most optimal.
  10. I think it only fails on Tager because he's a fatty, though I think you don't really want to be near him at all, even with full mags.
  11. Pretty cool matches Blade :D Also, I noticed you got couple of 3C CH towards the corner and saw that you were confirming it into 3C>2B>5A when you had at least 3 mags on you, one neat trick I always use in that situation is 3C CH>2B>Renka(1)>Kishuu>2C>corner loop to exchange sides so you get to corner the opponent instead of taking them mid screen for another round of tag. It may be a match up specific thing that you might not see yourself doing a lot but I think it's a really useful tool you should keep in mind to have a stronger pressuring presence with your Hakumen.
  12. Yeah, should be Chan vs. Ryo.
  13. Uhh, I guess CS2 is the best if you consider it as the roots of how CSE Hakumen came to be (specials property changes, Mugen Shippu minimum 4k)? I honestly couldn't think of what CS2 Hakumen was best at considering most of his good stuff carried over to CSE. It still is and OD Yukikaze is cool as hell. I'm kind of sad I don't rely on that move as much as I did before, so I don't get to see myself use it that much any more :/ Also, here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7a-1FOwhmR4#t=4m19s
  14. I liked CS2 Hakumen too since he felt more technical to play. CT was YUKIKAZE IS THE COOLEST SHIT EVER, CS1 was braindead+6D>Mugen>Tsubakoptr, CSE was neat Haku techs with solid damage and JUMP B. Also, I just realized when Hakumen gets astral'd by Amane and turns into Pakumen, he turns his gaze towards the player like he doesn't know what the hell is going on.
  15. Everyone was right in thinking he got nerfed hard in the beginning since his mags to damage ratio did get nerfed from CSE to CP and his drive properties got reworked, especially 6D. What none of us had in mind though, was that the increased mag gain patches up the nerf nicely as well as his C specials ignoring the combo rate for heavy hits and we can win without our D anyway. He is definitely a top tier character or at least a solid character, most people who saw his changes negatively before can probably agree with this after seeing what he can do now.
  16. Yeah.... Oh wells, I'm going to hope I can play some mirrors with you guys in the future. Hopefully I can find a chance to make my way to the states for some major in the near future ( ◇)人(◇ )
  17. Hawaii standard, GMT -10. The biggest problem I have is that my connection is ass even if it's west coast folks so I barely can get really good matches.
  18. Haven't heard of Shippu myself. Also, I'm on the same boat as mAc. I've been itching to play Haku mirrors recently though for some unknown reason, I always miss my chance to play Hakus on player matches whenever I wait for my turn :/.
  19. Also, the first one with the zombie color the name looks like Shippu.
  20. Actually, the only burst point in that combo is between the Hotaru and air dash OD since bursting at Tsubaki where Hakumen now have to mash on the Hotaru will whiff the burst with Hotaru's i-frames and can punish you easily after that and after the OD, you can't burst at all.
  21. I think it would work considering a lot of Hakumen's pressure is mashed out if the opponent doesn't respect your pressure. Hell, if the opponent starts to react to stuff like 6A>6B pressure, you can punish them with 6D for reacting to the 6A block as they're ready to mash that 5A for the 6B. But yeah, I don't think it will be anything reliable, more of an option to punish the opponent for doing stuff like that. 5D, 5DD would probably work better but I think this is where 6Ds short recovery time helps it make it more safer if the opponent just baits it or if they do a low or grab too slow. Also, step 2B probably would work, I wonder if 6C would reach that far and if we can follow it up in the corner with a step 2C? We can always go for a FC Enma too or even step Renka if it works for Renka(1) > Kishuu for an OD finish since 6D's P2 is decent.
  22. Like in the video there, I guess we have to use it sparingly so that they'd mash something 6D will catch as a feint from stuff like 5A, 2A, 2B, 6A, 6B, normals that have sub par combo potentials on normal hit or block. Also, I'm going to assume a lot of yomi will be involved though it is still kind of sad 6D went from a reliable to a gimmicky drive.
  23. Also, I think this is the first time I've seen a successful 6D. It really looks like something we'll be using it as a feint reversal more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=RGfNuMKzwIE#t=11298s
  24. Its recovery is supposed to be the shortest among the drives right now, though the start up is still terrible.
  25. I hear "fukuzetsu" or "-ukuzetsu" rather than an "-ozetsu" to be honest. I can't figure out any meaning for it though. The things that pop up during his specials? It's just a different written kanji for the numbers where they show how much mags he uses so 1, 2 and 3. You can also see them on his meter where there's the symbols for 0-8. Don't know much about the ones for the DDs though. Also, I don't remember exactly what Hakumen calls Valk but I think the character you're looking for is 狼 for wolf rather than 老 for elderly; though I guess it would make sense for Valkenhayn.
