I HAVE NO FRIENDS ;-; I did almost take them down on my first try, took out Ornstein pretty nicely, then got destroyed by Smough. Every attempt after that has been pretty terrible. I haven't summoned anyone to help me with a boss so far, was kinda hoping to keep it that way, but if it comes to it after a few more attempts, I suppose there's no helping it. I keep forgetting that this game has extra content as well, the main game itself already feels so packed.

Still, a beginner is a beginner regardless. If you have atleast a decent amount of knowledge about your own character, you really shouldn't have any problems. In other news, Ornstein and Smough are wrecking my shit on Dark Souls, wat do?

PSP version. I could proabably play Blaze Union and get the jist of it anyway, would probably help with my Japanese too.

I found most battles to be really boring. It felt like the challenge was sometimes there, but they never really threw anything really surprising or different at you, just the same fight over and over. Wasn't too fond of the art style either, that stuff was just a clusterfuck. I'm not sure if there's any differences between the PSP and GBA version though, so maybe that's where I messed up. Blaze Union looked alot better though, but I don't think that's avaliable in English at all?

I loved Riviera, but hated Yggdra Union. Never got around to importing Knigts in the Nightmare, but it's still on my "to play" list. Gungir looks alright, so I'll definitely give it a go. Dude fuck yes, Terranigma is amazing. Wish I could've played Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia though, never had the chance too.

The battle system in Graces is unique, but can feel kind of monotonous after a while, but then again, the same could be said for any battle system in the Tales series really. Also, Grandia, Shadow Hearts and Riviera.

Graces F is a pretty bad game imo, but I've got it on pre-order anyway. Vesperia is easily the best next-gen Tales game so far. Xillia and Graces are just really bland, though I did like Xillias combat. You should totally play Lost Odyssey if you haven't though, that's a great JRPG.

Funnily enough, I've only encountered 1 Mitsuru and Chie online. Mitsuru was actually the last character I played against. Online is Yu/Akihiko/Kanji territory.

Fuck Basilisks. I will burn every single one that I find throughout playing this game. Not sure how I'm gonna balance playing Dark Souls and Guild Wars 2 starting tomorrow though.
