  1. And why exactly do you need more moves? The game already was exciting before stuff was added in AC. Going back to the roots where the system was more simple doesn't have to be bad.

  3. Wow it's nice to see that some guys finally didn't screw you up. Seems you got along quite well and did a good job during the qualifier. It's a good sing after all this past "sure i'll team up with ya" nonsense.
  4. He's definitely better but not only because of Badlands, but also because he's got HS EXE now. Imo Digger loop > BL Loop in terms of fun. GD your opponent form one side to the other Shonen style - priceless.

  6. If you skip the giant hangover part before the qual then who knows :P As for switching team members i don't think it's allowed. Remember last year when Ruu couldn't make it so Shonen and Woshige had to play as a 2-man team. But maybe it's different for the qualifiers. Either way good luck this weekend ;]

Man.......finally i managed to hit those sideswitch kombos I understood what i was doing wrong when one time i accidently did it how i suppose to and saw the difference between: - HS EXE FRC > dash S > delay > jK and - HS EXE FRC > dash S > jK Here is a variation of it that i saw during Shonen's match against Nakamura (Millia) at the last SBO: midscreen - 2K > 5S > 2D > HS EXE FRC > dash 5K > delay > j.K > j.S > dj.S > dj.HS > 1-hit BL > sideswitch 5HS > net > TK BL > curse It's basically the same but i think it hits from further away, so when you're doing a far gatling into 2D > HS EXE FRC you can replace 5S with 5K if you think that you won't manage to dash > 5S before they can recover. I find the delay timing in both versions a bit odd, but i think i just need to get used to it
  9. You only have to hit 6K late for Faust, Baiken and Jam. On Bridget, May, I-no and Millia it's not needed. And yeah those combos are quite frustrating.... The easiest one to do is for Anji, so starting with that one is a good idea. I find the 5K, 5HS the hardest to do since i suck with dash+5K and I like the 2S, 5H the most. After a few weeks/months it'll be a piece of cake. As for the curse at the end of those loops 2366P - a small dash+skull, this is how i do it, but in order to hit with the skull you need to hit everything perfectly to that point. The animation is kinda wierd, but it hits. Oh and i've got a question too. It's about the side switch combos. In a few fights i saw them done not only from corner throws but also from 1-hit BL combos leading to the corner. So what do you need to do to get Testament to switch sides after the BL ?

Still i have a question bout this particular combo. Is it character dependent or is the timing strick ? Because it's quite hard to do. I saw Shonen doing it once vs Anji and still he got a black beat.
  11. Yeah Caer is right, these aren't the easiest, but the point of them is to end with a marked opponent. If you want to skip the curse feel free to do a different variation. This is also why there are no loops on females. Most of those loops are just TK BL over and over. If you're having problems with Jam you have to wait almost to the final moment before she touches the ground, if you do it too quick the first TK BL won't reach her since she will be too far away in the air. The same goes for Baiken, if you do it too quick you won't land the TK BL or just do a 1-hit. It is hard to write how you're suppose to do it The easiest way is to practise it by yourself. That is how i got the feeling how to do it. For me the point is to see and decide what you can do when the opponent is in the air. Whether the character is too far away, too low or if you did one BL wrong (too slow) you need to notice that immediately and realize that you won't pull certain stuff off. You just need to get that "feeling"
  12. Dizzy is a character that it is impossible to do 6K after the throw. I think it is the only exception. On Robo Ky and Ky you can do: Throw -> HS EXE FRC -> badlands -> dash 2S, 5HS -> badlands -> badlands -> curse (but the curse is quite hard) On most of the cast 5K -> 5HS is ok, but you have to change it sometimes for 2S -> 5HS, 6K -> 5HS, 2HS or just 5HS.   13. No it isn't. And it works on ABA. Search on youtube for "badlands loop".
  14. Yeah. Instead of two tk BL you can go for: 2D > HS EXE > 6K > BL > tk BL > small dash > 2S > 5HS > BL > tk BL. This is just an example on Sol or Slayer. On other characters you skip the 2S.
  15. Type Badlands Loop on YouTube. There's a video showing the loop after throw for the most of the cast. You don't have to TK every Badlands. It only applies to women, since in such situation you do 6K > TK BL X4-5.
  16. It also goes through some moves like Ky's Stun Edge, which is helpfull to score a knockdown. You can do this in the corner: 5K,©S,(f)S, 5HS, GD, HS exe, j.K, j.S, j.HS BL or you can skip the 5HS, GD part and do 2D, HS exe FRC, which is basicly the same.

Wow It's definitly better than Heaven, don't get me wrong, Heaven side is still good, but I don't know how you managed to make everything look so good in such a short time The short scenes between combos that were synchronized with the audio track were awsome. Sol's Fuuenken animation with Enter Sandman in the background was also very good. I don't know but for me the Enter Sandman part was off the hook.I-no jaming to Enter Sandman - priceless See, you can keep it simple and still make an awsome CM. By now everyone knows that your editing skills are superb. Keep up the good work. Shagrath is my god. Seriously.

  22. I had the same problem. Try doing the standard BL motion(adding the 7 for TK), but make a little pause before you press the P button i.e 2147...P. Try it a few times and you will get it. It's not that hard.
  23. The normal bomber won't bounce them high enough, so you can hit the 6K only after a CH TK Bomber. And it's hard to connect the 6H (works well on characters with large hitbox i.e. Faust) or the 2S after it on some characters. So you can replace the 6K with 5P and it will work.
  24. In the corner. But I was having problems connecting the 2S, because I was doing it too slow, so I used c.S,2S instead. But that made connecting j.D more difficult, so using only 2S is a better option. Nvm. So there aren't any viable midscreen bomber followups?
