Can't you cancel it into Drive now? Or does it come out too late to connect now?

Finally got the game, and the question that's been on my mind lately is "Why would you ever use 2C?". If you want a safe blockstring ender, 5C is better; if you want a hard knockdown, 5C 5D 623B is better; if you want to use it in combos, you can only follow it up with 623B, which doesn't give you much damage even with Heat-Up (not to mention that 623B 22D combos are not worth the effort when you could go for the Drive combo instead). The only gimmicky use I found so far is canceling the second hit into Miquelet, but since you have no other options on block, it's going to be blown up every time after they see it. Also, it's weird how H1 combos feel less rewarding than H0 or H2 combos. You don't get double Heat levels, you don't deal explosive damage, you're just doing boring everyman combos that remind me of CP1.1. Or do an H0 combo to get to H2. Maybe there is some fun stuff I'm missing, but it just feels that H1 is the "You screwed up somewhere" mode. Oh, and I tested the Drive frame advantage and found out that red lock is safe on all levels, while regular Drive hits are unsafe on all levels. That certainly makes her H0 pressure a bit better, but on the other hand, you're not as happy when you get your Drive blocked on H1-2. At least it feels like the red lock comes out faster now?

If you mean the 623 move, I'm not sure if it even has any invul frames, so I don't know if you can call it a DP (but then again, I haven't played the game, myself). From what I understand, it's supposed to let her move out of that uncomfortable mid-range zone into close range, but you don't want to throw it out in neutral, and doing it in combos is usually inferior to her other options. As far as theory-fighting goes, I feel like Muramasa is more meter-reliant than most other chars, since her supers have a lot of utility (from a combo finisher to an actual reversal). If I were to pick up Muramasa (I probably will), I wouldn't feel bad about picking Aoi, especially since she lets you use more hype Railguns. The other assist should probably be pressure-oriented, just so her mix-ups are a bit more safe. Althea, perhaps? -

It feels weird, really. Before the game was out, I felt like I've seen all the footage available and could even put it together in a single playlist, but now I can never be sure that I've seen it all, nevermind have all of it reuploaded to Youtube. Any video links are deeply appreciated. I didn't watch a lot, but I noticed that some characters have unique victory animations when certain conditions are fulfilled. I already menitoned before that Mora has one when she finishes the round with Child Play, but Ignis also has it when she finishes with her LB (so she stays in her white dress). I wonder if all characters have one?.. This was one busy weekend, but that Anna translation should be ready by tomorrow. Less things to be distracted by, too. -

Yesterday's Nitroplus stream had them whiff the shot twice simply because the other player walked at the wrong time. Also, you can roll through it, so apparently it counts as a projectile? I don't follow you: how exactly is chip damage different from grabs by your logic? Both punish blocking, but one is fine while the other isn't? They can be dodged in the same way, too (actually, chip damage is probably even easier to avoid). -

- Does it actually have a proper training mode? The stream seems to practice combos in Versus.- After using a Blast, you can apparently cancel moves into quick action (roll, air dash, short hop), but I've seen it used even outside of a Blast. Can you clarify that? - Al has a follow-up on her 214A+B scimitar toss super that's performed by pressing any button (maybe multiple times?). What does it do? - Ruili's level 3 super (236236B+C) buffs her supers, but how? People were saying that she can combo them together, but maybe they get better by themselves, too? - Can you block Saya's ground super-blob (236A+B)? It has a grab-like animation, but I just never saw anyone try blocking it. - Any special properties on Anna's super-DP (623A+B)? Haven't seen it yet. - Where does Muramasa's parry super (623A+B) leave both players? Again, never seen it catch anything yet. EDIT: Aww, Mora has a special victory animation if she finishes the round with Child Play. That's so cool. EDIT EDIT: The Nitroplus stream is over, and even though it didn't have anything radically new in it, they did say that the official wiki is live now! http://npblasterz-wiki.net/nbfan/ Also, apparently, Muramasa's Manual Down (the healing super) blows the enemy away if they're close enough. That makes it more useful than I thought. -

Most of the footage is various breakdowns of characters and system mechanics, but there are some casual matches, too. Some personal highlights: - They have shown all the LBs other than maybe Mora's, but we already saw that one. - The LB anime cut-ins don't change palettes, which is too bad. - Ein's parry is just her 5C with some guard point-like properties. Makes for some interesting option selects. - Ruili's LB lasts for about an eternity and gives her super-dashes, like KI's Thunder. It doesn't make supers free, though. - Muramasa has a healing super where she transforms in her spider form? - Unsurprisingly, Ignis's BGM is Kokou no Tama. - Good luck seeing Ignis's traps, especially if you decide to combo her while she's sitting on top of one. - On top of the poison, stun and feint traps, Ignis even has a super-trap that looks just the same as the rest when she sets it up (unless you watch her power gauge closely). What does the source of income have to do with the product's quality? Crowdfunding is not online petitions or whatever, money gets shit done no matter where it comes from. And it's not that difficult to find many decent things that came out of it, but I guess those are just not good enough for you. But anyways, I thought Omen was our proper shadow Jago character? The goal does seem unrealistic, but at least I won't miss another shoto clone.

Gonna second the sentiment mentioned in the last BuruRaji episode: you really can't tell Mai's gender from the voice. For that reason alone, I applaud Hayami-san's work on her role.

It always surprises me how many different puns they are able to come up with again and again, even for the veterans like Ragna or Noel. And in two different languages, too! Speaking of which, I just checked the JP trophies, and Rachel's Japanese achievement is called "Is the order a princess?". Brilliant.
