Though making the super faster does make sense, since CP was all about making the game faster in the small details, like with Sekkajin and things like that. Don't forget the buckteeth and slanted eyes, those are oh so hilarious and accurate!

Yeah, like I said, they all make sense to me. Unless you mean that they should've went a different path about nerfing his mix-ups and wolf gauge, at which point the exact way to do so hardly matters.

Valk is actually one of the characters who totally deserved all the changes he got, I think. Wolf gauge change actually makes gauge management matter, nerfed jump starters make his mix-ups a bit more manageable without completely murdering them, and the super animation is just a quality of life buff. The ground Konig Wulf buff is a bit more weird, but I don't play Valk, so dunno how much it might impact him.

Never played the games, but I always liked how its gameplay and artwork looked. I even bought a figure of Cyril just because I like her design. This seems like a good reason to finally try out the series.

Still can't see any source for that. I mean, it's not like it doesn't sound plausible, but frequent DLC (including free characters) and patches kinda made the game seem pretty lively until mid-December to me.

Oh, hey, SRK missed the 3C changes! My translations are actually useful! 3C now has better vertical hitbox and deals more damage. Also, its full body invuls last until the move's active frames. Supposedly, she still has her old 5C, it's just that you have to hold it now (I believe even its start-up is the same). So if you want to combo from 5B, use 5[C], if you want a blockstring, use 5C. Also, having difficulties in neutral without Heat-Up is a valid weakness to have, since her neutral game gets that much better when she does have some levels. The worst thing about her was that she's supposed to be a heavy rushdown/mixup character, and both those aspects were kinda lacking. Not so much now that we can do silly stuff like dash OD 720, though.

I'd say that J-Stars has better chances of doing well overseas than JoJo, if only because it has more franchises (a lot of which have been officially localized, too). However, since there are so many of them, it might be very tricky to discuss the publishing rights with all those anime publishers.
