Yeah, I'm already running Ulthury with her, and I'm aware of those lightning tricks, but it might take a while before I can do them reliably (still has to train myself to do stuff when the lightning actually hits). Also, it feels that among all the 360s, even 360A has pretty bad range, even though Tamaki does cover their sprite with her hands on whiff. This (along with the input issue) is why I opt to use the suplex more often, even if it doesn't deal as much damage. Also, invul frames, yay!

Bought the game last week, Tamaki is as great as I expected. Though to be honest, the fact that she doesn't have any decent pokes worries me, but I suppose that's what the assists are supposed to compensate. It also feels like the inputs are a bit more strict than in BB: I can 360 with Tager any day of the week, but with Tamaki, I get her suplex or the eye laser more often (which kinda sucks, especially the latter). And I totally have to get her short hop mix-ups down, the usual grappler "grab or AA" can only get you so far.

Michi's Land of Wonderment and Joy [Commissions: Open!]

I just realized that he looks almost exactly like Inumuta from Kill la Kill. -
It's not like we had any doubts about Hisoka's status from the scans, anyways. Doesn't stop the fans from being rightfully disappointed, of course.

That's the ED cards from the anime, so they will probably include them separately in the BDs.

He probably means the Kokonoe frame data, which is on the character page rather than the frame data page: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Kokonoe_(BBCP)

There is some general advice on the wiki, even though it's mostly written before the game's console release, so there are some inaccuracies here and there. I'll also update the page with optimal combos one of these days (already got a list from a Japanese wiki, just have to convert it to the wiki format).

We already have a Gin, I'm not sure adding another one is worth the confusion. Then again, that didn't stop Capcom from adding PW to MvC3.

Assist Hisoka is dumb, but now I can expect Killua and Pitou/Meruem to represent HxH... unless they feel that having three representatives is enough, even if one of them is an Assist.

It is, good job! -
I'd like to try and nominate myself for the BB award (I mean, there's no rule that says I can't, is there?). Since BBCP's early location tests, I've been translating various Bullet info (among other things) from jBBS, and after her character section was up, contributed to pretty much every single topic of it, be it posting video links, transcribing combo videos, or organizing the wiki. Even today, I'm still contributing whatever I can to the section, even if there isn't much left to do after the game's been out on arcades for more than a year. Whether I deserve an award or not is up to the mods, but honestly, I'm not sure what else I can do to get it.

There is little to no difference between a command grab dealing a huge chunk of damage and the same grab having combo properties that allow you to follow it up with just as much damage. But for some reason, the latter should not be subject to the most logical drawback for a character with guaranteed damage, limited mobility. Anyways, some games do have such "mobile grapplers" (KoF is the game that comes to mind first), but their damage is rarely similar to regular grapplers, they play more like Amane than Tager. Or their mix-up game isn't actually that limited, and the whole grappling thing is just in aesthetics (like with Bullet).

Some random stuff that I picked up from the JP wiki: 720 combos! As long as you're willing to spend OD, it's easy to surpass Blackout in damage output with clever use of RC. [H1, 100 Heat, OD lv.1] 720A 720D OD 41236C 236D 5B 6B 623C 623D 2363214C [H1, 100 Heat, OD lv.1] 720A RC OD 5[D]D 6C 623C 623D 6A 236[A] 66 6B hjc j.C j.D (RC before the first body blow, dash before 6A against LI/HZ/TE) [H1, 100 Heat, OD lv.2] 720A RC OD 5[D]D 6C 623C 623D 6A (236[A]) 41236C 236D 66 6B 623C (RC before the first body blow, dash before 6A against LI/HZ/TE) [H1, 100 Heat, OD lv.3] 720A RC OD 5[D]D 6C 623C 623D 6A (236[A]) 41236C 236D 66 6A 2363214C (RC before the first body blow, dash before 6A against LI/HZ/TE) [H1, 100 Heat, OD lv.3] 720A RC OD 5[D]D 6C 623C 623D 41236C 236D 66 623C 623D (RC before the first body blow) [100 Heat] 720A RC 214D 6B 41236C 5B jc j.B j.C 6B jc j.B jc j.B j.C j.D (RC after the last hit) The most difficult thing about these combos is timing the RC: there are quite a lot of possible positions that you can get by RC'ing in the middle of 720, Bullet even switches sides with the opponent at some points. For most of these combos, you must RC right as the opponent bounces off the wall, just when you bring them to the side of the screen. And a random tidbit: I thought that the only H1 follow-up you can't super into is 5DD, but that's actually not true. If you use it at a very specific distance from the wall (about 3 forward dashes from the starting position), you can start the super before the opponent hits the wall, but if you do it too far away from the corner, he won't hit the wall, so you won't be able to connect it. Of course, you have better options for 50 Heat after a landed H1 5D, but hey, it's a fun fact to know.

H2 Red Lock appears earlier than H1/H0 Red Lock, so I assume it's the only one you can hold mid-combo, yeah.
-
I don't think she can react to your backdash, which means that she simply expects it all the time. Something as simple as backdash into 360A might do the trick. Then again, this is mostly theorycrafting, since I have no match-up experience

Obligatory reverse thread link: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?17964-Bullet-vs-Tager Patience is key to winning against Bullet: her pressure might be strong while she's in Heat-Up, but it won't last forever, and most of her mix-ups can be eaten with 360A/backdash (other than raw Drives). As soon as you turn the tables on her, it's going to be very difficult for her to hit you back, since her defensive options are lacking. The neutral game is a little more tricky: Tager's pokes are longer, but Bullet can pass under some of them with 2B and 3C. Overall, it doesn't feel any more difficult than fighting Ragna or Jin, maybe even easier.

Since they've been drawing multiple illustrations for each birthday for a while, I can't see how it'd take them more effort to just divide their attention between BB and GG.

Did I already mention how much I love Sword of Justice? Because it's goddamn amazing, probably my favorite out of the new character themes. And since most of them are pretty damn great, that's quite a feat.
