Looks like her pressure can push you to the corner pretty fast if the opponent respects you enough. jC CH > 6A > 6B looks like the new go-to for confirming jC CHs. jC CH > 6A > 6B > 3C > SoD > 2C > 5D > 2C > jC > djC > j2C > 5D > j2C > land (bluebeat) jC > j2C did 3.3 in the corner. Non-charged stein range nerf is sad, but it makes it a bit awkward for Azreal trying to absorb beams on reaction. 5A > 5C combo'd on standing opponents (when Azrael dashed forward at start of third match), so hopefully it also works for air confirms 2B > 2C > 3C > SoD > dash 2B > 6A > 4D > 5C > 6B > 2C > 214[D] > jC > djC > dj2C worked in the corner for almost 3.4k. close 5C CH > CT looks like the optimal punish midscreen. Basic combo afterward did 4.1k. In the corner, Serizawa chose 2C CH > SoD and 5C CH > SoD > RC... to punish. On the other hand, 5C CH > 6C won't connect with max range 5C. Off a S starter on crouching opponent can do ...5C 6C Ikutachi > 3C > stein for oki.

It needn't be said but his DP is an overhead followed by a low, so make sure to block accordingly. You can safejump it like a regular DP, but the "mixup" might trip you up a few times. It doesn't have much CH state so if you want an FC punish you have to use 25 meter on SB Double Fang, but you can go into a Blight loop afterward. If you want to save meter, you can punish with 5C CH > 2[C] > (dash) 5B > 5C > 2C > 236B~D > 5C > IAD jB > jC > 5C > 214A~Cx5 instead. Always try to 2B his j2D (cross slash move) as it drops down from the sky. You can hit it with other moves as it comes out too, but 2B is probably the safest because of the head invul. Once you show them you know how to break their cards they'll probably be a bit more conservative with their Persona use. 5D (Ziodyne) is a problem if you block it since it lets him get in for almost unsee-able mixups. You'll want to avoid blocking it at all costs. At first you might be tempted to DP > counter shot or Safety, but these are risky. If he sees you backstep, they can punish you with a FC combo, and you can't fire the countershot until DP is done absorbing the 5D. A better solution is to just react and try to shoot Adachi before the 5D comes out, or even just run up to him and try to hit him with a dashing 5B or Sweep, since 5D has a lengthier startup than it might appear. jC is pretty crazy. Good luck anti-airing it if they space it right. I would just treat it like Aigis's jC and try to roll past it if you can. If you block it and they cancel into j2D, I think Adachi might be +, but I'll have to test it out. This matchup doesn't seem too bad once you know how to deal with wild Adachi gimmicks. I think Naoto has some pretty good tools to keep him honest in neutral. He can wreck you when he gets in, but the same is true for us.

Yeah Idk how this matchup is supposed to go; Yukari players are pretty rare. Her zoning is a problem, but thankfully her AA and DP are butt so once you do get in her options are limited. Don't be afraid to DP > Safety fullscreen Magarula attempts so you don't let them get in and run their mixup for free.

You only need to do dashing Blight if you get a FC 2[C] midscreen. In the corner, you can just link Blight after 2[C] with no dash instead. If you're willing to sacrifice damage you can just do 2[C] FC > dash 5AA into a double Blight combo instead, which is much easier to do. Edit edit: scratch that, 2[C] FC > dashing sweep > C Blight > etc. works for the full combo and is much easier to do. Only lose out on about 40 damage. On that note, it looks like you can get the triple blight combo off FC 5C as well. FC 5C > DC Sweep > C Blight > dash 5C > IAD jC > 5C > delay C Blight > dash 5C > IAD jC > 5C > delay C Blight > 5C > delay 236B > (ender) works and does similar damage to the FC 2[C] starter. Pretty nice to punish moves with Fatal recovery like Kanji DP, Jesus-kun D slide, Margaret DP, etc. Edit: wow, also works if you do Sweep FC as the starter. Sweep FC > C Blight > etc. Can't really imagine doing that unless you hard call out Mitsuru B coup or something though, but nice to have the confirm on hand.

2B should beat her jC pretty clean if you do it early enough; that move isn't really as good as most Marie players seem to think it is. If you aren't sure you can react in time to anti-air her, roll through it instead. Try to avoid blocking it though because if you do, Marie gets in for free.

Sweep can low profile her 5A, but you have to kind of do it at a distance because the chest invul doesn't kick in until 7f. Her 5A usually seems to beat it at round start.

Off 2[C] FC, try to go into the blight loop Diarmuid posted a while back (http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9242-p4au-naoto-shirogane-combo-thread-operation-time-wip-updated-9214/?p=851406). It is pretty hard to do, but well worth learning since you can pretty much murder people for trying to DP you. If started midscreen, you'll have to do a dashing blight to do the rest of the combo. You can input C Blight as 2366C in order to get a dashing Blight to come out easier. The rest of the combo is mostly getting the opponent at the right height with 5C, and delaying Blight after 5C. Doing a microdash 5C can help to get them at the proper height, as well as help buffering the IAD. Off less optimal starters starters (2A, 5AA) you can always at least do 5AA > C Blight > dash 5C > IAD jC > land 5C > delay sweep > C Blight > 5C > delay B Fang > 5C > 214A~Cx5 (optional 6D > 236236AB or Awakening super). Off Fear fuzzy guard (blocked jC, rising jA, falling jC), start with 5B > C Blight instead. Off 2A starter, the combo is the same, but omit the Sweep on the second rep of Blight and just do 5C > delay C Blight instead. Off B Fang FC, do 236B~D, C Blight, 5C > IAD jC > 5C > delay sweep > C Blight > 5C > 236B~Cx5. Same combo should work off of SB Fang FC, which is necessary to actually Fatal punish reversals with little recovery (Yukiko and Adachi DP off the top of my head). In that case, add a sweep before the first C Blight, and you can do 236B~D, 5C, 214A~Cx5 at the end instead.

So we lost some corner carry, but our pressure and mixup is much safer, and our neutral game looks even more annoying (if such a thing is even possible lol). New combos are wacky looking but damage is damage. I see H.H. whiff a j2C after a corner combo, wonder if it's some kind of safejump or check to catch roll/late tech?

Well this is looking a lot better than the previous loketests at least. I'm just relieved that 5C -> 6C is back. The OD change is interesting. On one hand, it's bad that the lasers don't automatically fire (RIP OD bomb loop ;( ) , but the steins not disappearing after OD ends is nice. 2C float and the new combo route looks hella cool. New gatlings into/out of 6B are also nice. The lv2 SoD in combos looks cool. With j2C change, it looks harder to end a combo in knockdown now. I don't like how Ikutachi forces you into the corner either...hopefully new combo routes can address this.

Linne definitely feels like it's somewhat disadvantageous (nowhere near as bad as Merkava matchup, but she is a gorilla for sure). She is pretty much like Hyde, but better. With her double jump, divekick, and air fireball, it feels like she has little to respect in the neutral game. It feels like a big risk to attempt to call any of her stuff out. Once you get her knocked down, Hyde's oki is nice but I feel like Linne will obtain that situation more often then we will. And when she does you just have to kind of block her annoying rebeat/shanks/air fireball pressure for days, where she can keep resetting pressure from a safe range where none of your normals or DP will hit. I have more fun fighting Gordeau than Linne lol.
