wow. arcsys punched, kicked, bashed, and otherwise beat the shit out of kokonoe. that's not the reason, pretty much at all. rachel was absolutely broken in ct, there was much, much more to worry about than that - although, she could get 4k+ from her IOH at the time. that was just the tip of the iceberg. terumi got buffed and nerfed and otherwise looks only slightly better.

this is one of the biggest problems l had. getting hit on the 4th try and having to try again on top of the foe knowing how i'll block... one may say that's a 'gg' situation. rach hits with an IOH and she gets one wind back, which gets used on pumpkin, or has to 'risk' frog oki. though its powerful, valks is more powerful than that currently.

whoa, she is so flexible haha... nice command throw. wonder how well it shakes things up. her air throw game was sick in ac but l heard it got nerfed quite hard.

starter nerf will cushion the hits a bit. it wouldn't be bb without insane mixup chars, but at least said chars wont be getting huge reward (by meterless instant overhead's standards) for doing something so simple and dominating. vs starter possibly means reduced corner carry for him too which is huge for anyone in this game. l know rach can still 5cc after her IOH within a second or two, but can valk do this quick enough?

l would assume she could throw her presents similar to the bombs, trajectory changing depending on one of three or more (or less) directional inputs.

how do you guys feel about jc, new present trajectories, and pan/bat SMP remove?

possibly, given his nature of needing meter more for defense than offense. l doubt this strategy would be anymore useful than if tao, haz, or valk did the same thing.

data says during knockdown, so it's safe to assume those are the only hitboxes changing

He does look stronger overall. Wonder just how big they will make his hitbox... Though out of the blue, this change could be threatening if the devs decided to have his knockdown sprites be him lying on an OTGable, large scarf. It likely will be a mild change, though.

Some people seemed to have believed it was. Not sure about twitch because I don't use it, but using the two concepts the base reasons would likely be similar. since I'm here, ggs to hoshi.

Eh, it's always off topic in here Literally, years have been wasted trying to get it on topic. A scolding here, infraction there, then the thread gets closed and reopened an no one learns a thing. Frankly I don't see why it's not just labeled what it is, a shit talk thread, or why there is a need to heavily enforce the posting of certain things. So long as no one is seriously breaking general rules. Things just never work out the former way, but it is funny to see the same cycle repeated over and over, similar to the game we all play. Thanks for the recommendations on games and I will be trying again to play in the lobby shortly. @dwb, I get off work at 5pm now and can play till about 9.

what a boring night... this is becoming the norm once again. my playing schedule changed by a couple hours, but damn it's like a party that barely anyone (who is anyone) shows up to in these lobbies. a new game is required. someone recommend me something that is fun and multiplayer and is not a sludge-sucking fps plz. price is whatever.

It is the optimal route midscreen. If you can't do it consistently right now, go for corner carry combos anyway. 6cd, jb3d jc, 5bd 6a 4c dash 5b 6a 236a dash 3c, 3c 8d dash 6a 4b... All these routes are ok, some more wind intensive than others if you want more damage. But never sacrifice corner carry in these situations unless you want immediate pressure. From ja that is all you are getting outside of the corner. As with any short grounded starter, 5bd 6a 4b dash 5cc is possible but not really worth the damage or the extra wind required.

20 frames is excellent if it is cancellable on block. But it isn't better than 12. That's just godlike.

There's more than just gatlings, you know. Because he has a good frametrap game, teru can do j2d as a link from many of his moves. 2a, 5b, 2b, 6b are all decent links into j2d when mixed with frametraps. There is also certain oki, particularly orochi and 6d thougj there is more, where he can do it as legit mixup. if some of his frametraps were stronger or more tight, he'd undoubtedly be higher ranked.

my bets are on haz being top again, or very near it. these nerfs seem more to soften his hits along with fixing some stuff so that he isn't rewarded as much - rather than change his most threatening features.

Seems fun, I wonder what they will implement using this new system. Will they go the various cutscenes route like in xrd? I can imagine rachel doing something fun in her cutscenes now. Hype levels rising.

oh wow. l really didn't know that. litchi's 4b being nerfed does change her overall combos radically. she'll probably lose some damage from certain combos, and new combo routes are almost a must. she should be alright as she has an easier time hitting the foe than others after knocking them down. still a very solid char overall, everyone knows she won't tumble down the tiers too much from this (but it does hurt).

you sure? l am pretty certain that it (p2) is 2nd hit onwards. perhaps that is a typo, but that presumably was how it always has been.

This concept has already been done. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9HiW8v2qTgU There are some important routes left put, such as 5bd 6a dash 5b, some ja frog combos, certain heat combos... However, pretty much everything that is anything combo related is in this tutorial (which is more like a compilation if you ask me.) You're welcome to still do it if you prefer, just pointing that out.
