  1. ggs to everyone in my room for the past few days. is anyone available to play? ec preferred.
  2. Toan is one of the first people I played on bb, we may have started at the same time. Either way, he has certainly come a loooooong way since back then, and so have I. Lambda in general has the tools to keep you locked down, but combine that with 5 years of experience and you should understand why fighting him is no easy matter. You really can't make any mistakes.
  3. At this risk of sounding sarcastic, I would say that is why mu has good matchups vs these two. That is why I indirectly excluded them and tager by saying 'most of the lower tier'. (Actually I think tsubaki has the best chance of the three and a decent chance overall of beating mu) Many characters, not just mu, can take high advantage of their weaknesses, yet they cannot take as well an advantage vs other characters weaknesses.
  4. Your speech patterns are awful. It's just a bunch of negativity constantly every time I read a post of yours, ever since I've known you. How many times has someone told you that people see you in how you see you. Because I see a lot of you based on how you post, and the gist I get from you is... Not great, ill tell you that. No one wants to be around someone who is frustrated, angry, confused, and possibly crying all the time. By nature, if humans could be happy 100% of the time, we would fucking jump at the opportunity. While you may be thinking this is no time for philosophy, do you really think that no one has tried to bring you out of that slump? Tried to make you happy or at least on your way there so that you can be on the same page as the rest of us? Any answers other than yes here would mean you are more deluded than you think: I've seen it, multiple times. I have been a part of it. You just ignore us and continue being upset, and me personally am not going to babysit anyone, you are either going to understand the simple concepts or you are not. The point, reiterated a thousand times by many individuals and this may not be the last, that I'm trying to make here, is that you start off with a clean slate. Granted, people get frustrated, that's why other players are here to help you. If your response is to, and still to, spit in the faces of those trying to help you, then people who know you are going to move away very quickly. There is a certain confidence in yourself that you are lacking, but it is never too late to change, whether you want to believe it or not. Now if you want to do this show, and no one wants to help or watch at this point, you need to come up with a plan, first identifying what problems you are having WITHOUT BIAS[\b], and attempting to change one step out of time. I can tell you right now that a whopping 90% of your problems on this site could be solved if you just learned to be more positive. I'm not asking you to do a 180, just to see things in a different light. Lastly, I feel like I must say this. At no point in this wall of text was i trying to disrespect you at all. Despite my low tolerance for negative comments I still genuinely want to see you come out of this shell that you are in. Believe what you want, but not everyone is out to get you. In any case, this will likely be my last attempt at reaching you star. I hope you get something out of this.
  5. Very short range, guard point means it clashes often which can turn into an unfavorable situation still (mu doesn't have a normal with strong priority so in clashes she is more likely to lose. Though she is also more likely to get 4k from a counter hit if she wins I suppose), and the risk highly outweighs the reward - comboing from it requires the corner requires 50 heat or a very specific ch hit in the corner to combo meterless. Otherwise she gets space and time to setup - good if you know what to do with it, and the foe doesn't outright beat lasers in someway, have high mobility or can stop mu from setting a stein altogether. I never said mus dp wasn't good, it has good synergy with her other defensive tools and as lich said, it does restart her neutral tools. Those are great points. The difference between her attack and say, inferno divider is that Id fills more uses, being air unblockable, combo able on ch, being able to beat more attacks that her dp, and boasting more range and possibly even more synergy with ragna's tools. He has more chances to hit and to make it safe, which is excellent news for anyone who is trying to escape pressure. Thank you. Played this character for a year and a half as a main, so I'd like to think some of what I'm talking about makes sense.
  6. as for who has a better defense, l think that would be pretty easy to see who can break out of pressure better. hakumen for sure. anyone with a good dp, a good 5a/2a, a way to gain momentum), and/or strong pokes has a decent or better time on defense. to me, that is all of the high/top tiers, and most of the lower tier.
  7. this is not to say mu is bad, definitely not, but it is possible to keep the pressure on her, like it is possible vs every other character in the game. mu has a pretty decent time on her defense. she can escape on a consistant basis. however it's what she decides to do after avoiding and attack that counts. backdash/iabd leads into a place where mu cannot do much against long range attacks. 6a and 2c requires a good read and a poorly timed blockstring. her pokes can be too slow at points and most of them attack horizontally. her 5a and 2a are decent. she also has a significantly harder time in tighter blockstrings.
  8. on a basic sense yes. what l mean is that they are momentum based. once they start blocking their setups are ruined. pumpkin disappears, steins stop firing, etc. they have poor , situational defense in these situations. even mu with her dp has a hard time on defense because of it's range, and the risk/reward. corner a rachel and it may as well be ggs for her without a frog out which is unlikely. not only that but even if these two escape they need time and space to setup, so even after dodging a bullet they are still likely in an unfavourable position. most other characters have something on defense that is stronger than these two, unless they are also zoners; or, they have something in the neutral that can potentially take back momentum quickly.
  9. their offense relies on them not blocking so it's only natural mu or rachel will keep trying to press for constant frame advantage. makoto's only chance of winning would be an excellent offense/defense, strong adapting ability, squeezing out every ounce of damage per hit, and not allowing them to breathe while simultaneously baiting their mash or dp. lacking any of these thing makes it hard for mak to win. also rachel has a psuedo dp if you'd even call it that, in wakeup wind tech td. trade, hit, block and whiff are all in her favor, she just needs the space so this is great midscreen
  10. Depends on who you're talking about. Rachel can deal with mu (IMO!!) but not herself and lambda. Makoto has trouble across the board. I suppose that's why she's low, I remember her being much harder to neutral in cs2
  11. don't be. it was a fun set.
  12. ok, inv. let's see what you have learned. i'll use tsubaki (dont worry l know combos and stuff)
  13. anyone for some blazgreen? l'd like to break in this new pad, though by the feel like it l may not have to lol
  14. Pumpkin oki only loses to quick rise when spaced correctly in the corner. In terms of safety it is a more reliable than frog for oki, and it allows for more options that we don't actually need for oki lol like throw shenanigans. Thank you. I appreciate the service.
  15. He's on a mountaintop ATM, can't be reached.
  16. our community is not as lucky to have so many good players for an entertaining weekly stream. unless the person streaming is someone with a certain charisma and popularity, it is doubtful you'll get a bunch of people watching low/medium level american bb. then there's netplay potential setbacks (lag), though this is indeed a good idea and was done alot, tourney- style by quite a few people (zeth, xcat, hellknight, etc) with moderate success. some really good players would show up from time to time especially when money was involved (shinsyn, xcat).
  17. the oki was good and once litchi neutral teched, it was inescapable, minus risky counter assault. wakeup od is simply a pause button highly likely that earliest hit of daisharin = full invul of od + full startup of daisharin attack. daisharin is also guaranteed to come out after a certain frame, probably frame 1-3 after input (no hard data to back this up, but ive watched a ton of videos and fairly confident that this is how it goes) so basically, that oki, while inescapable, granted litchi the obligatory od plus a few frames for daisharin to come out.
  18. who is delta is he on dustloop
  19. l think the only time wind wont autouse is if shes in hitsun or hitstop, or something similar. otherwise no
  20. the 3d that had been used was not quite finished yet. rachel cannot dash far in the opposite direction of the wind used
  21. l would think more of the latter due to, as this era of life has birthed a generation of person who thinks wiping their ass is too difficult or too much work. it is exactly this attitude, coupled with all the complicated-ness of airdashers and being a higher level player, that would cause people to want to press a b c s jump a b c s for combos rather than... any litchi or rachel combo lol. granted marvel is extremely fun despite some of the broken qualities.
  22. the college metaphor wasnt intended to be read into too deeply, though l could see how it's not as great as l thought it would be, reading it again, so l'll retract it for now. the more you know about a given game, and this includes everything from basic fundamentals to system and character data, the easier stuff becomes to figure out. in a given match, while there are infinite possibilities, every single possibility can also be analyzed. there isnt a single thing that cannot be explained (this does not include 'playing the player', im speaking of only the game right now). you cant just pick up on something if you see it from inexperienced eyes and yet the same intricacies are set in stone in that they -could- happen, and anyone who has done or seen enough of said scenario, assuming they have the ability to use proper reasoning and/or has read the data, could partially or wholly explain the situation. it all boils down to proper, sufficient training, which the uninterested are, well, uninterested in doing.
  23. ggs arkanate and x4 numbers and letters. glad l found a room today lol. time sure does go by quickly, or perhaps the matches are too long, l don't know.
