  1. The only thing a character needs to be a playable is to exist. The developers, if they want to, would not have an issue explaining how that character goes about their rear-end beating. Even if that character was bound to a hospital bed with several massive wounds and bandages from head to toe... Yes, it'd be stupid, but certainly not impossible in a world of imagination. I can see saya being playable though personally I'd prefer nine over anyone else right now.

  9. In that case- very strong, probably even top class depending on if sb dia and regular one share the same recovery. At the very least its more practical.
  10. Iirc no hop cancellable normals are overheads in p4c (don't quote me, I don't have a reliable source). She has good pressure though, IMO, in her 5a and 5aa strings which lead into so much - maybe not as easy to land as other characters but the options are there if you like attempting hard reads. It also resets into itself (5aa) multiple times and is safe for the most part. I think not having dead end moves is an absolute boon, as in, pressure doesn't end after x move if you don't have heat. Her pressure being safer is really going to show. I love her changes. Not sure about randomized yet though bit far negative penalty sounds broken lol. And tsubaki, when she won sbo, was mid tier.
  11. We don't have the game yet. I am positively sure Liz will gain a new bnb that will do decent to above average damage, and anyway it's still a loctest so things are bound to change. Maybe she won't be dishing out 70+% on a consistent basis anymore but she can still hit people. Also, bufu a wasn't particularly important outside of being that combo route you hate to use. Not only that but just because it doesn't freeze doesn't make it useless. It could still have a lot of untechable time. Garu might be a worse nerf, however it still isnt anything to be upset about as I'm more than sure Liz will be alright without doing 6k+ Liz is moving from making that one or two hits count to an actual character. She's got a buffed neutral, a lot more toys in awakening, A vital increase In her health, possibly improved defense and a counter that could lead into massive damage. She looks good. Also considering the universal damage nerf and some of the top tiers losing some of their bull.

  13. the dash meaning that brief time period you have to wait before attempting an agidyne 50/50 right now, which you can also dash 8 jump 50/50 which l like to do. but yeah by the sounds of the move, it probably is required rather than recommended in the new version. so basically awakening agidyne goes toward the center or the screen rather than either side. interesting... l wonder if the startup is faster.
  14. l wouldnt say never; close, yes. lf a big lull is happening it's a good one time use move. for characters who cant outright punish it quickly enough or cant dodge it outside universal measures, it could be used seldomly. taking the entire ground with 116+ frames is no laughing matter, move or die.
  15. l would assume 5c 2omc 5c still works. new agidyne would probably take away the dash needed to mixup from it. maybe thanatos disappears after the flames now which allows some 5d setups? also, new awakening maragidyne... does it go fullscreen one way then immediately goes fullscreen the other way or am l missing something?
  16. Two things. First, ragna didn't block low, or he did it really fast and I didn't see it. Second, amane's jb isn't an overhead. His only overhead (ja) likely requires a deep zettou or jump in, not entirely practical at the moment either and takes a lot of precious time that you could be using chipping the opponent.
  17. What does her new 2c Icon do anyway. As for concentrate it doesn't seem like they want that to be Liz's 50 heat reversal option. In theory it would probably be better than having a good dp and especially on a character where heat is a common resource. Plus, it's already been buffed indirectly, looking really good that awakening.

  20. having different amount of persona cards is both interesting and speculative. inherently having more cards that someone else sounds like a potentially huge boon, particularly for a glass tank like liz.

  22. the moment you press a button, if the cpu is in neutral yhere is a chance it will, literally, do the -direct- counter to your attack/movement instantly, barring high-invulnerability move which of course cannot be bested. with that being said, 2a fullscreen will provoke an offensive reaction (in tager's case, sledge) in which case you can punish the lenghty startup/recovery, depending on who you play. 3x ninja'd
  23. actually the large room was fine, l was just anxious to play dragon's crown for a bit. this big ass dragon has me ragequitting though. fml.
